  1. Nice buy mate! Was looking at importing one before a charged zed cropped up and caught my eye instead. No way you will lose money on that, especially in such a rare and nice colour! Think they all have calsonic radiators, I remember my R32 GTST did too
  2. I used to have the buddy club and the bungs are a very tight fit. Few chaps with a rubber mallet gets them in fine. Slide hammer is ideal for removal.
  3. I would guess that may the reason stated if questioned. In reality I imagine that cost and profit margins were much more of a consideration. Just about gotten mine all polished up now although there are still some areas which will need some more work to remove some of the rust staining from where the crap brackets were clamped.
  4. Cheers. One of those little jobs I've been meaning to get round to for ages but only takes 10 minutes when you get down to it. I really can't understand why Cobra don't supply a properly welded box though. Its the reason I didn't buy one of their systems for my previous Z and wouldn't have one now if it hadn't come on the car. The very least they could do is supply it with discreet stainless brackets like these instead of the ugly cheap things they come actually come with.
  5. Stupid rusty Cobra brackets have been bugging me since I bought the car 6 months ago - finally got round to doing something about them today. New stainless mikalor 63-68mm clamps fitted - http://www.ebay.co.u...=STRK:MEBIDX:IT Took a quick half way snap for a comparison. Just need to get it all polished up with the autosol now, Job for tomorrows lunch break
  6. My car had a new LUK duel mass flywheel and a cheap Tehniclutch Carbon Kevlar fitted at 87500 miles by the previous owner. Why he would pay for a new supercharger to be fitted but then put a cheap ass clutch in at the same time I will never know! Unsurprisingly this gave up the ghost after 3500 miles and a particularly exuberant launch attempt up a private road. I have since fitted a JWT kit with a new flywheel. On removal it was obvious that the clutch plate was dead - it was really smooth and shiny - but the flywheel looks to be like new. I thought I may be able to make a little bit of money back from it from someone looking a cheap replacement but just wanted to make sure that I will not be selling anyone something unusable. Can anyone advise on the pics below?
  7. Better off just buying a new headunit

Looks like they've invested plenty time in that. Obviously not short of cash given their other albums too! Seem like it could be a good find. As others have said, its rust that is really all you have to worry about them, everything else is cheap and freely available. I miss mine, even though I didnt have it long.
  10. I have should have a used JDM exhaust you could have for nought which may be salvageable if you were really on a budget? Think it would just need a stud bashed out and replaced with a nut and bolt.
  11. I have a feeling they are these bad boys - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/25-Bumper-Screw-Grommets-For-Nissan-01281-01321-Altima-/121358102322?hash=item1c4181af32:g:2m8AAOSwg3FUciD-
  12. Does anyone have part number for the original fixings between the front wings and the bumper? I beleive they a plastic grommet of some type pused into the wing and a self tapping screw. Mine have been replaced at some point in the past with nuts and bolts and they are really annoying to get in and out.
