  1. I've never done moto x and I passed;) I think if you can drive a car but can operate a bike well you'll have no worries
  2. I did the four day course in Bristol many years back but I had been riding and racing motorcycles for some time , I'd recommend it , they are very much geared up to get you through your test
  3. I know , I know its s subject done to death but Ive done a search and found lots of threads where people talk about 25/25 mm spacers on the 370 or 25/20mm spacers and im as yet undecided But I read on a few posts that the stock wheel stud is 25mm long , so what do people do when the fit the 20mm studs? Grind 5 mm off with a angle grinder, replace studs?
  4. Yes bud They do one bud - might be able to add one if needed I'm up for a 370z one as well
  5. We had three Nissans on our Clubstand , two r33's and one 370 Saw you on track , looked like you were having fun
  6. Just ordered a set of MPSS for my 370z , £713 all in from Tyre Barn and you get £100 cash back from Michelin
  7. I didnt buy my car to impress other people , its for me
  8. I have a noise generator on my Skoda , i was unconvinced until driving it , truth be told if my 370z had sounded like my Skoda does I wouldnt have forked out £800 on a new exhaust. Stock 370z's sound lame , seems like a decent solution to me and if you dont like it you can simply unplug it
  9. Picked up one of these last week , the petrol Tsi version with dsg Wife has one of these
  10. There was a clock tower about 1/4 mile from my house when I was growing up , I found the chimes very peaceful and missed them for years after I moved away . Even now 25 years later I often hear them when I'm half asleep
  11. Oil pressure is ok. Will that affect noise from the fuel dampers then? It's occasional when the noise appears, but it's quite loud from outside the car. No but low oil pressure is common on HR engines and can produce top end noises which sounds like the dampeners
  12. Not on a Nissan , they are well known for very very soft paint
  13. is the oil pressure good? The noise from the fuel damper is typical ie they all do it to varying amounts its not necessarily an indicator that anything is wrong with them
  14. If you clay you need to polish as claying will marr the paintwork I found Hard Candy too hard and difficult to work. Supernatual Hybrid is easy to use and works well on silver/grey

    HR Hood

Looks like function over form , directing air into the filters There was a car like this for sale about 18mths back on here , it was leeds area I think , I was tempted
  16. As above new or used Whiteline, Stillen or eibach
  17. Evo 8 , decent one with good spec should hold its money
  18. I shoot them if I see them ! I could cut out the middle man and just shoot the chickens I guess , if I left one of my pistols over there I'm sure I could stage a murder suicide so no one would suspect fowl play
  19. My neighbours have chickens, used to be both sides but now just one . They used to come in my garden a lot and the dog would chase them if found but If I saw it first I'd just pick it up and throw it over the fence. I don't mind the chickens but hate the rats they attract , I have to spend a lot on poison and traps let alone the damage they can cause go the cars , one chewed the coil wires on my car last year and others have chewed wiring and even chewed into the car on a previous car.
  20. Of course I shopped around every time , that's a given
  21. My wife was driving my car when a lorry clipped her on a roundabout damaging the mirror , the repair was £500 which we got back off the other party . We have three cars , two in my name and one in hers and all were loaded about £30-£50 per year so £90-£150 per year for five years , that £500 claim ended up costing me more than the £500 I got back from the other driver .
  22. Your insurer will still load your premium next year because of the accident , insurers are great like that Good luck on getting it sorted
  23. I have a blackvue also , ran the cable around the windscreen and behind the passenger pillar , spliced into the 12v socket wiring so it's all hidden away
  24. I always use tyre barn , they will price match anything you find online as well and are very careful with the car
