  1. I went to the 2015 show , it was dire , lots of banging stereos and people revving the nuts off their MX-5's and CTR's, few stores nothing much of interest was bored after 1 hour , truly awful
  2. The super pro bushes last ages , two or three times as long as the stock ones but are only worth while if the ball joints at the other end of the arm are good so imo if the arms are fairly new then fit the SP bushes if not just fit stock
  3. I'm seriously thinking of selling mine, I thought that all the 370 needed was more power so changed from a 340hp one to a 470hp one but after three years of zed ownership i need a change

    370z power?

I think I could have popped into the 12's with more runs its the diff that held it back since it allows one wheel to spin before locking up maybe a 12.8 if the track was decent My Supercharged car ran a very easy 12.5 at 118mph the second pass on the track and i reckon I could crack into the 11's with a little more practice

    370z power?

yeah its complicated LOL I had a 2012 GT Edition which was normally aspirated and then I bought a different 2012 GT Edition which was already supercharged so cant help you out with costs really , also mine is an auto . I wouldn't have entertained doing the work to my own car i don't think its good value for money The weak pound wont have made it any cheaper I would think ball park would be £10-£12k supplied and fitted for the supercharger and another £2k for the clutch

    370z power?

I fitted simple decats on this car, they were ok but do make more noise and hiss on overrun etc , the motordyne ones are very much better i have them on my supercharged 370z
  9. Never seen one actually gone , only on the US forums

    370z power?

Humans dont feel bhp very well , they are more sensitive to torque but even then its very hit and miss This is my dyno chart* - firstly the 370z wont make 326hp at the flywheel on many dynos , mine made 299hp after fitting a cat back exhaust and intake , I never dyno'ed it stock After the remap it made 309hp at the flywheel Removing the stock cats had a big impact getting up to 345 In real terms I ran the car down the drag strip in a variety of guises , stock it ran 13.8@101 (Partly limited by the awful Bridgestone tyres), after remap it ran 13.5@105 and after the cats were removed it ran a 13.3@108 If I had my time again I would put the money into fitting a decent diff , that will make much more impact in performance terms than any n/a tuning *my car is an auto so makes a little less on the dyno than a manual
  11. Its ok yes , should be about right but not sure for certain
  12. Autotorque are a good bunch of guys as well , I've used them for many years . I'd buy a car from them
  13. No the plenum went to Kharmon and performed as expected
  14. Doesnt matter we dont get to choose
  15. 1. Could be the signs of a worn gearbox , if its grinding then avoid that action 2. They all do that sir The clutches can be difficult to get a handle on these cars , its a feature Plenty of videos on youtube that can teach you how to rev match and downshift smoothly Nothing wrong with using the handbrake when you stop. Your dad has bad habits , you should not put the car in neutral and coast , you should use engine braking to supplement the footbrake when slowing. Say you are approaching a roundabout , you should be in the correct gear for the road speed, apply the footbrake to slow you down and then when you know whether you need to stop or can keep going then select the correct gear to make smooth progress
  16. I looked into it but dont see any benefit in fact there are many reports that its not as effective at cooling

    Nismo tyre size

Thought the nismo was 285 standard?
  18. I bought mine from Jegs in the US , bought a few spares as you get hammered for the admin fee on top of vat and duty so it makes it cheaper in long run , probably paid that in dollars each but not the exchange rate has altered it might not be much of a saving
  19. You can take a speed signal from the ecu .
  20. I like those myself, that or building a turboed zx12-14r , had a few turbo bikes in the past , huge fun
  21. I have MY15 VRS on my octavia vrs daily
  22. Good to hear my porting on the manifold worked as expected The traction control is impressive isnt it , good to hear you are chuffed with it
  23. They would only take out play if the stock ones are shot and permitting movement
  24. I have stock , I did buy some whiteline bushes to fit if required but the stock ones offer reduced noise and vibration so I'll only fit them if/when the stock ones fail , as you know i do launch the car from time to time
