    tyres on a budget

The ratings dont give you enough information to make an informed choice , also imho budget tyres have no place on a performance car like the zed.
  2. Sorry couldnt resist , the higher your rpm the higher your oil pressure , I suspect you are revving the car higher enjoying the noise
  3. Was this last year ? A saw a Black GTR in March/April that had to be recovered from Switzerland after being impounded by the authorities, by the time it was released the battery had gone flat and it caused an immobiliser fault , Nissan over there and in France couldn't sort it so he had to get it recovered to Litchfields where they quick fixed it , he was without the car for about 8 months
  4. No oil temp of 120 degrees is not normal unless on track

    what options

I have a B2 one that I got from the US, I also made a M45 Infiniti one fit in my previous car , both sit a bit lower and feel much nicer than the stock one Adrian was brave than me I didnt want to risk dremmelling and goosing up my shifter , but i did buy a spare one recently to try it out , the GTR one does look nice
  6. Its a bigger than on the 350z HR as you need to remove more parts, think the air con rad needs to be removed as well , there is more room on the 350z , I'd budget about £1k
  7. Indeed Adrian , and extremely well sorted car needing for nothing, bulletproof and reliable as well If it doesnt sell I will be keeping it and doing a few more things to it but not power related as its just fine as it is, so if I do have it in 10 months time its only going to cost more
  8. I gave up using tapatalk some years back as it was hopeless and I now use firefox on my devices. When I surf the forum with my phone or tablet i keep getting pop up ads for the play store , often for games from Playrix but also apps like Uber, it happens if i try and refresh or zoom in or sometimes simply scroll down. I do surf numerous other forums without the same problem and i've done a virus scan on my devices and checked for unwanted software , could this be a forum issue ? Anyone else report anything
  9. I did skid pan training in a Vauxhall Chevette when in the forces (That ages me ) Stood me in good stead in later years To be honest I thought times had moved on and that most training schools used the cradle type things like this https://www.intotheblue.co.uk/driving-experiences/courses/skid-control/skid-control-essex/
  10. I'd go Cobras personally , dunno the difference in sound but seen a few Berk ones that have cracked.
  11. Might be worth shopping around in the US you might be able to get them even cheaper. https://www.z1motorsports.com/front-suspension/nissan/350z-g35-oem-front-compression-rod-p-4618.html
  12. Siamese cats are mental they have a screw loose
  13. We had a labrador that would catch moles , often smell them out hiding in the long grass but dug a couple up a well , used to pick them up and then spit them out initially but eventually just ate them When we lived in Singapore we had a Siamese cat that dragged a very large and very angry Cobra into into our kitchen , needless to say my mum made a swift exit with me in tow , bringing snakes and lizards in was a regular occurrence and usually still alive
  14. Iwaki is in the Fukishima prefecture and parts were severely affected by the tsunami
  15. I remember hearing about this event back in the late 80's, I was big into the American car scene and drag racing A guy called R.J. Gottlieb (Ron) who was 19 at the time turned up in 1989 with the 1969 Camaro that he and his dad built in his garage and ran an AVERAGE of 197.99 he hit speeds of 220 mph in places! Good read here http://www.streetmusclemag.com/features/the-legendary-big-red-camaro-the-whole-story/
  16. Anyone else spot the TT 350z at the end? Great program didnt think they would do it to be fair
  17. Yep the car is in the zeds for sale section
  18. Some rare if not unique things there ! great stuff
  19. Mine doesnt but my car is standard height , i seem to recall the Invidia on my last car was about the same but lower further down the car where the flange is If you look at the Ark you can see the lowest point is inline with the wheels , so if the wheels go over the exhaust has to , it might catch on one of those pillow type ones but ive never noticed it and there are no marks on it from the previous owner
  20. Some high quality pics to show the excellent condition this car is in http://www.nineteen80one.com/rich/

  22. We have had issues in past years , these things work well they push the moles into nextdoors garden https://www.amazon.co.uk/PestBye-Advanced-Ultrasonic-Deterrent-Repeller/dp/B00OHQNZ64/ref=pd_lpo_86_bs_t_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=A27Q767A1M8K51P5EX55
