  1. Whiplash and injury claims is the reason insurance is so high , repair costs are as low as they have ever been in some cases lower , what the repair costs are listed as and what the insurance company actually pays is two different things , the days of whacking filler in is gone as well as its cheaper to buy new parts than use the labour cost to repair them
  2. They arent usually that cheap
  3. Uprev sorts the throttle though , worth doing just for that imo
  4. The Bridgestones arent great , have you set them to 35psi?
  5. I never found the road noise that bad really but i always had aftermarket exhausts, some tyres are worse than others of course. My current 370z has a piece of carpet underlay under the boot mat which the last owner put in which might be a cheap option or some dynamat or suchlike would help but its a sports car with 275 tyres at the end of the day

    NEW car!?

I'd struggle to look past a Golf to be honest , £6k will get you a 2007-2008 GTI , stock not much slower than the 350z but much better on fuel, easily tunable, fun, reliable and cheap to run Get and edition 30 and you will lose very little during ownership if you keep it nice
  7. I spent 2 weeks in Japan and only saw 1 370z
  8. Have you tried banging the door card whilst pressing the switch , failed window motors are very common and it might be coincidental
  9. Get the dealer to deliver it with its protective wrap on straight to the detailer This is how I collected my Octavia
  10. There isnt a toe bolt for the front thats the track rod end and I'd be surprised if that snapped, but you can buy new ones from ECP , the camber bolts do snap and you can get them from Nissan but they arent cheap, the reason i expect they recommended new arms is that you have run out of adjustment , as to whether the eibach kit will solve that I dont know
  11. No you put it on a ramp and get it checked out by a professional
  12. diff , gearbox even tyres , its not an issue ive heard of
  13. use it all , put a litre in then the moly then fill up , not that it makes much difference as it will mix over time
  14. I get that but only when the wife is in the car
  15. Its the HFC's , they need to be really hot to function correctly and even then can barely scrape through. What the fuelling does at WOT on the dyno and what it does closed loop at idle speeds are two different things
  16. Shouldnt make any difference on emissions uprev or not so something else is awry
  17. Welcome , glad to hear Jez could get to the bottom of your issues , how are you liking the diff ?
  18. As said great cars but have largely fallen into the hands of those who can afford to buy but not afford to run A good s14 is best part of £8k now , i only saw one decent S14 while I worked at H-Dev the majority I wouldn't have touched with a barge pole S15's look ok but arent worth the premium over the 14 imo S13's are largely past it unless they have had ££££'s spent on them
  19. I have a brodit a piller mount if you want , i'll try and dig it out
  20. do you have reversing camera? Yes you can add extra soundproofing , but most get a louder exhaust Bluetooth is helped but 1) setting the device for both bluetooth and audio ,2) moving the microphone from the left hand side to the right side of the light assembly in the roof , its a 20 min job , did mine yesterday
  21. far fewer 370z's around also, its rarity that builds up price
  22. Also in 10 years you would have to spend an awful lot of dosh to keep a 350z nice , plenty of 05 cars have terminal rust on them already Cars for me are about enjoyment, what they are worth in many years time is insignificant Life is short buy what you like and what you can afford
