  1. Welcome, very nice Where abouts in Kent are you?
  2. Think this guy lives in my area, seen him quite a few times when I go to work in the mornings from Tesco roundabout>dual carriageway>M2 where we part Didn't notice the mods you mentioned though as he always seems to be in a rush and I'm always driving slow first thing in the morning
  3. I've got the Brodit mount matey Looks oem, good location for vision and no rattling or shaking when driving With this you can either buy a dedicated Brodit clip on for your phone or stick on a generic one Can't remember how much it was though
  4. Then you've got those that mention "well it's worth it for the sound" - However - If you have an aftermarket exhaust (or plan to...zeditus will ensure this) you will never hear an induction noise over a screaming V6 backbox!? Baffling...my thoughts anyway Anyway good luck Pritchard
  5. Interested to see the results! The guys at Abbey are great Mark also showed me the intake temps whilst I was there, we compared my standard box with drop-in filter / velocity stack versus a previous days car fitted with a K&N typhoon, the gradual increase in heat on the typhoon was ridiculous compared to the standard box which consistently dropped temp levels and never built up/increased heat steadily like the typhoon. All interesting stuff to know when you want the car running the best it can
  6. Make it 8 for the lights If this does go ahead I'm certain the moment it gets it's own official page 'Rear LED Lights Group Buy' another load of people will see it and jump on it too...
  7. Cheers Ekona, What's the difference between the two colours? they both look exactly the same except Solar Orange was introduced for the 07 onwards? I just don't understand, perhaps it's a local thing...but whenever I encounter a fellow 350z / 370z (not a common occurrence) as soon as they clock me boom, 'reckless' mode is engaged. From there they either want to catch up and kiss your bumper or risk their life - and others - to outpace and get away from you to prove what? and there's me just driving normally, wanting to go side-by-side and give a nod...it's never happened
  8. Was actually spotted a couple of months back but forgot to post this spot What reminded me was this morning when he flew past me on the M2 at silly speeds and also tailgating (almost bumper touching) some poor bugger over taking reasonably in the outside lane, there's just no need so I thought I'd post this up to show off their parking skills too: Other than that I REALLY like the colour
  9. Dibs on the Tein bonnet damper set...providing I don't have to cut anything?
  10. Cheers guys, happy with the figures Cant wait to test these wheels out! Standard touring alloys are quite plain and heavy...
  11. Haven't been on this for a while... Few updates recently to report on, mods and maintenance New FK453s tyres on the fronts were fitted - so far they have been great New brake pads all round fitted and bedded in properly Panel filter and box cleaned out and Flyboys 06 velocity stack mod fitted Random entry pic from a Brands Kleers meet a few months ago, managed to make my car look cleaner than it actually is! Still filthy though Lastly I got down to the guys at Abbey for a remap, great service by the way Mark said it was a good one and made 263whp and 244 torque When asked for ‘pub bhp’ figures he said it was a comfortable 300bhp which I am more than happy with Either way numbers weren’t my main concern, the car drives so much better than before which is what I wanted. It’s more eager and lively in the lower gears for definite with more pull throughout the rev range, this I noticed the most Mark also let me sit in on part of the mapping process for the last 30mins and explained to me all the workings, clever stuff Gladly after a year of ownership I can say I’m almost done but I fear this zeditus will never end...just coilovers and new wheels to go! Wheels are actually in progress currently…I'm toying up using my brother’s old wheels from his S14, only 2 survived intact so it means I only need to buy 2 more which would work out quite cheap for some new shoes. My existing tyres (fairly new) will fit with some nice stretch. They are XXR 527 alloys in gold… Test fitting these at the weekend, here are some pictures of them on the bro's S14 Thoughts? go for it?
  12. I recognise those seats from a Corsa VXR, probably in other cars too I guess Were great in the VXR, very comfy and properly hold you in real shame they both don't fit...
  13. EPR here as well Rather than let the gaitor sit loose and look unfinished chuck on a £1.00 washing machine grommet (drill a hole in it) for a much smarter finish Not the best quality pic
  14. Had this recently myself and bought this: http://www.robertdya...ture-trap-ocean Sorted it...and for £1.99 can't complain, been 4 weeks so far. Mine sits under drivers seat
  15. Yes mate, wanted to get all the bits in before a map Pipercross air filter, 06 velocity stack, M/D plenum spacer, Berk decats, Japspeed Y-pipe, Scorpion backbox / midpipe
  16. as above, I'm also booked in with Abbey the next day 8/11/14. Again not fussed on top bhp figures, more interested in improved drivability as a whole. Will post my thoughts here
  17. Glad you managed to find a Zed in the end! Looking tidy mate
  18. Kit turned up in good time and was finally fitted last night following your guide Cheers Martin
  19. Iv'e had this happen more recently with our clients moving over to Office 2013/365 and using files on a shared network and your right...why does it suddenly do it when it was working before? Meh, Windows products. Glad it's sorted for you
  20. Find where the Word docs are saved on your PC: Right click the file and go to 'Properties' At the bottom of the 'General' look for Security If you see a button to the right that says 'Unblock' then the file has quite literally been blocked because it came from another machine... Click the 'Unblock' button and then 'Ok' Try opening again...worth a shot
  21. Great spot despite the cast lineup it was definitely one of the worst films I have EVER seen, people were leaving the cinema left when I went to see it, almost including me!
  22. Wish your Dad a speedy recovery Martin I'll take one of these kits please as No. 19 PM me and I'll send over payment Cheers Dan
  23. Long time no speak, I remember your car too! So you still have the Corsa currently? If your local to me I'd take you out in mine to get a feel for them sure you've already test drove one by now...
  24. Not updated in while, done a fair few bits I guess Took the car to Kaizer for some HEL Braided lines and ATE fluid change Other side door trim now also sprayed purple to match my drivers side (bad lighting does not show the solid purple colour well enough) Next up was the centre cubby. Having Bluetooth in the actual cubby defeated the purpose of actually storing anything of reasonable size with that thing in the middle. I’ve had the whole centre console out before and there’s plenty of room underneath near the back. I removed the unit and then completely removed the false floor, I was pleasantly surprised with 4 sticky packs which were quick thick! I now have an actual empty cubby with a lot more depth. Wallet and sunglasses fit nicely in there now… Heater surrounds out… Prepped in primer ready for purple Painted and re-assembling… Whilst this was out I also had some carbon fibre wrap turn up, this was my first ever attempt at this kind of thing Finished product together with painted surrounds Back in the car I know the whole carbon wrap thing is not to everyone’s taste, not even me to be honest…BUT mine was scratched to hell, I didn’t want to sand the entire thing down to spray and needed a quick clean looking solution, it came out great I think. Definitely won’t be doing it again though…if I have to re-do anything I’ll be going the dipped route Some smart touches to update the interior got an A4 sheet of brushed aluminium vinyl. Cut it to size after perfecting my paper templates! Then and applied to my ashtray cover and rear ciggy cover Camera pictures don’t pick up the brushed aluminium finish at all but you get the idea Next up will be the middle blank heater switch Currently: I have 3 tins of Cadbury Purple high temp paint...in the process of painting the strut feet, plenum space and brake calipers all round At the moment I just have the strut out, bit of a marmite mod I guess with all the purple and again...outside my camera makes it look more pink More pictures to follow in time
