tatooandy67 replied to Tigerzed's topic in 350Z General
I too first saw my zed and even said to the mrs ... Now there's a car that I can just buy and drive (or so I believed) bought it last October joined this forum had my head turned by a carbon fiber gear knob two weeks later I came down with a case of zeditis I think I have the carbon fiber version. now I have a ss exhaust and just got my wheels PC in anthracite, still on the to do list (which seems to get longer every time I visit this forum) side skirts, splitter, diffuser, a new spoiler to replace oem spoiler all in cf when I can find the right ones. spacers, springs and a whole bunch of lovely lovely carbon products which are too many to list lol -

I think it's all about individual taste vs budget. Sure I'd love a 100k supercar I think most people would but within our budget which is defined and justified by our own thoughts and in most cases financial limitations we do what we think is best for us. I am the proud owner of a beautiful 370z coupe which to me is almost perfect I know there are superior cars out there but to me my zed is the bees knees, slightly modded with a custom exhaust and bits of carbon etc and I absolutely love it in my humble opinion the best car I've ever owned. We as enthusiasts of all things zed(on this forum) should be proud of what we have be it standard or modded to the max but to compare them to 100k super cars is apples and oranges. Leave the super cars to the super car forum let's be proud of our zeds. Rant over. My opinion only to which we're each entitled. Ps if I had 100k ish budget for a car then it would be a jaguar xkrs mmmmmm but for now zeds rule -

Not sure why earlier post has gone up twice sorry

Forgot to add went to the showroom and the finish they have on their samples is extremely good. Original quote over inet was slightly higher but when I got there the lady on reception reduced the price

£300 I know there are cheaper places out there but they offers 12 month guarantee and the reviews for TWS are very good:)

Hi fellow zed fans just wondering if anyone can recommend a good wheel refurb company in Birmingham I've done the usual google search but there are so many I don't know which firm to use as internet reviews are not always truthful. it would be good if any of you had ever used any of them. I had a lapse of concentration and curbed my front wheel. I have 19 inch rays in the standard nissan silver. Having read on here about the colour matching issues I've decided to have all 4 repainted. I'm currently thinking dark grey as I think this will look good as my 370 is metallic silver but if any one has any suggestions I'm flexible as I'm not yet 100% on what colour to have. If you have any pics it would be great to see them. After several google searches I'm thinking price is going to be around £100 ish per wheel does that seem reasonable thanks for any replies Andy

Immobiliser warning light 2010 370z coupe
tatooandy67 replied to tatooandy67's topic in 370z Technical
Hi all thanks for your replies, I had the orange symbol on the small display screen indicating key battery was low about 2 weeks ago so replaced the battery straight away as I feared getting stranded. I have read many posts about steering lock failure, my car was registered sept 2010 so maybe this could be the issue, if dealer hasn't contacted me with appointment by mid day tomorrow I'll give them another poke and maybe I'll be a little firmer this time and ask to be put through to their service dept directly rather than waiting for a call back. I've only had the car for six weeks and since then have got a lot of info from this forum and am quite worried about the dreaded steering lock failure. If the light is not on as it is intermittent will a fault code be detectable or will the warning light have to be on for the daly to show up? I will be certain to mention the recall issue when in touch with dealer. Will post as and when I get info from dealer thanks for now Andy -
Hi, I noticed the other morning on my way to work the immobiliser warning light was illuminated. It's the small red car symbol with a black key in the middle, it's on the rev counter at around the 10 o'clock position. It stayed on for the whole journey approx 5 miles, when I got back into my car to go home the light stayed off but then later the same day while out driving the light was back on again for the entire time I was driving (approx 10 miles) I called the dealer where I got the car from and am still waiting for a appointment but now the warning light is no longer on, it's been 4 days now and I've drove around 50 miles with no issues and no warning light. I will still take it to dealer for inspection ( when they finally call me back) but would feel better if I had a little info on what may have caused this light to stay on. Any insight would be really appreciated Thanks Andy
