  1. Double post sorry on my phone
  2. Could of been worse, may of had flashing xmas (neon) lights to go with the soundtrack
  3. Sweet,I'm a carbon junkie got my rear spoiler to go on next, waiting for a call back from my local body shop though as I'll need a bit of paintwork and holes filling when the oem spoiler comes off Thanks, ye that's what I was thinking, it needs something but the steps didnt look right, I've got my eyes on a set of matching side skirts, maybe like this Seibon set guess I'd better get saving
  4. Thanks, I do think it needs something along the sides to tie it all in but I'm not 100% sold on the steps so I've taken them off for now, they were a spur of the moment choice which sometimes works and other times doesn't, I've seen the side steps on other 350/370's and think they look nice on some of the cars I've seen but just not for me so I think it's back to the drawing board, start saving again and try a few more mock ups on photoshop to help me decide. They weren't too expensive though so hopefully I'll get some cash back if/when I put them up for sale so not really so bad But on the plus side I'm very pleased with the front lip
  5. .... so the steps have been removed, they lasted a long time (on my car for less than 24 hours) I'm going to save for some carbon skirts. I'll take some pics and post up a for sale thread for the steps later when I'm back from work and have cleaned them
  6. Found a small amount of water in my boot today I was mooching in the boot area and when I lifted the carpet and the corrugated panel above the sub and surrounding polystyrene that houses the wheel brace etc. I noticed a small puddle of water had gathered below the wheel brace in one of the recessed areas in the polystyrene. It's on the left/passenger side a couple of inches in front of the rear light cluster. I had a feel around that area and couldn't feel any damp so am now puzzled where this water has come from....any ideas folks so I can sort this before it becomes a serious issue Thanks Andy
  7. Hi Craig FairPlay to you mate, good luck with your build, as things progress you will soon forget about engine troubles. Apart from the issue you mentioned she looks like a nice example, once you've sourced a replacement engine things can only move up Look forward to reading your progress, enjoy your zed once she's sorted. They really are great cars ps we're not all sharks in Brum,
  8. and some pics of the gorgeous new interior please
  9. Think I may be ordering a set of these then if tarmac makes any more
  10. ^^^ agreed, for a standard oem stereo it's definitely acceptable
  11. I'm really pleased with the front but the steps seem a little flimsy and they don't really fit with the overall look I'm trying for but never mind nothing ventured, nothing gained
  12. both my friend and I passed a similar comment straight after we fitted them, my mate said they'd look more fitting on a Morgan think I'm going to save my pennies and get a pair of seibon side skirts to match the lip, bonnet and spoiler I'll have to be extra nice to the Mrs maybe Santa will get me some
  13. Worth a shot but I'd tend to agree with ^^^ above, although if you've not had the car long the dealer might offer to repair as a good will gesture, good luck if you try
  14. ^^^ result, looks a top job at a reasonable price too, bet you're glad you didn't take the first quote
  15. Just waiting on a call back from my local body shop so I can get the matching rear spoiler fitted
  16. Sweet, real pleased with it Tattoos all over, that bit of skin poking through is one of the few bits still to get inked
  17. Fitted the front splitter today Have to wait to fit the spoiler, got to book in to body shop (they're booked up til xmas ) to fill holes and fix paint, oem spoiler will leave holes that will be visible when new one fitted
