When my battery completely died i found direct from nissan to be the cheapest if that any help to you.

It's just two nuts you need to remove then get some heat onto it to soften the glue. You will need fishing line or something to cut through the glue. I managed to remove mine but damaged the boot...luckily for me it was going in for a respray anyways.

Should speak to Mo as he is selling a kinetic plenum. No need for a spacer then as its built into the design of it.

If its a carbon slam panel for a HR then it won't fit the DE. I can't 100% tell but just worth mentioning... I'm tempted by the Volks myself I'd take a wild guess that it is an HR slam panel, simply going on the number of panel filters for sale. Nah it's a de as it only has one scoop on the right. I assume he must of had installed on his HR though

I'm away to go see a mk1 mx5 tomorrow and wondered if anyone had one before and what to look for when viewing one. Common faults etc. So far the car has just had a full overhaul with new coilovers, polybushing all round, new discs and pads, sill replaced and heaps of parts powder coated. I think your being to obsessive to be fair. Nothing worse than going for a night out and a friend keeps looking at their phone to reply to the other half. Even more I don't want to go for a night and think oh no I've not messaged the other half. She knows where I am and who I'm with so no need to message when I'm out. If you are that worried it seems like there might be some trust issues in your relationship that you need to sort out or it will drive you crazy.
