  1. Decided to use the 350z box & running gear. The Z has a carbon propshaft & has more diff options than the Supra. The supra box is also worth more so was a chance to make up some funds that I can use in other areas. None of the conversion kits that I've seen allow the V160 to be used so it makes more sense I think to go for the Z box with adaptor plate and a decent clutch. What better way to get over a woman? Gearbox choice makes a lot of sense then... Get back to work Ian.... we need this to be done!!
  2. Now this is something that I am interested in! Good luck with a great sounding project! What gearbox you going to use?
  3. no, but also why he got booted out of the episode
  4. The whole show is a **** take, the main guy is a comedian.... but good for a bit of light entertainment
  5. Considering the amount being spent you need to drive it and I mean drive it like you stole it Oh she will be abused, but only on special days. I can't drive a car with MPG in the 17's or less 160 miles a day. I'd be broke!! So would I

  7. with these sorts of colours you are never going to want to drive it........... it might actually get some dirt on it!
  8. Nope, it won't sit at the right angle Thats a shame Nope, it won't sit at the right angle That's a shame as I this is the only rear spoiler I would consider ...... Sure it wouldn't be hard to have some Ali blocks made up at the right angle ..... Agree
  9. Looks great, Im just not a fan of mounting it to the standard spoiler.... can this be mounted to the bootlid instead?
  10. Im liking the progress of this keep it up!
  11. PWPro is very good! They are on the GTR forum as well and their work is just fantastic!
  12. Once I have scavenged (locks and dash) a few parts from it, the blue one will be up for sale as a rolling project. The car is a 1970 MK1 Ford Escort 3 door. The shell has had some bad repair work that will need to be fixed and the engine is incomplete. The rest is pretty much complete rolling shell, windows, doors, interior (mostly complete), gearbox, diff, etc... ideal I would think for someone looking for a nice winter project!
  13. I may have to go on a massive rampage......... or just buy my own
  14. yeah, need to do a couple of little things, maybe wheels as well
  15. Yeah, me too! Its just had rebuild done, so looking forward to seeing it over the weekend.
  16. Some news.... VAT has been paid and I am arranging collection for Thursday being delivered to Sly (who is going to service and MOT) and I will be there on Saturday afternoon to have a look at them Doubt they will be ready to drive, especially on the road, but things are progressing!
  17. should have said, I would have bought for that
  18. How many track days a year are you planning on doing? And how hard will you drive on them? If you are only starting out, then use the 370 and see how it goes....
  19. Nice and it still has my old spoiler by the looks Unfortunately that pic is a few years old, although it still has the kit, and the spoiler, i loved that! looked really good from some angles, but not to some peoples taste i guess, some cars suit BGWs some don't. I managed to get an email from the new German owner via one of the German guys on the Supra club, and it sounds like he is really going to town on it IE drag spec etc but i have heard nothing for a while now, but at least its still in one piece. Yeah, I think it suited the supra.... Im just more of a ducktail spoiler kindaguy I got a PM on the supra forum from the now 2nd owner on, going big single and another respray. Even sent me some pics which was cool.
