For a Porsche Supercar capable of 200mph and costing silly money, I would..... If she can prove that Porsche was aware of the points that have been raised then she should be sueing WTF? You are actually being serious? As Dan said, its passed all of the regulations it had to and was CLEARLY being used in an inappropriate manner ........... or are you saying that all cars should be able to withstand a 90mph collision into a tree? Thinking about it, last time I was drifting I hit a wall and hurt my elbow, maybe I should sue Nissan for not providing enough padding on the inside of their cars? Or maybe every car sold should be governed to 55mph and brake for itself, that would sort it out. The thing is 1 step away from a racecar, no doubt he loved it because of its performance and rawness (and lack of stability control) ......... but he ran out of talent, thats not anyones fault other Paul Walkers. Id it had burst into flames before it impacted then maybe theres a case ....... but it didnt, his actions lead to his death, not any kind of negligence on the part of Porsche. Oh yes, they have such strict controls, looks at what VW was getting away with. Not to mention the recently recalled GT3 Porsche! Yes and I would expect a hell of a lot more from a safety point of view from a car like that. Proof? On both counts, please. Perhaps we should all drive at 5mph with a man and a flag in front, to prevent us crashing and rupturing our fuel tanks? Graham, you track your GT-R, have you ever given any thought to how strong the fuel tank is on that if you bin it? Yes of course I have.... GTR at 100mph into a metal barrier, I dont see any flames, in fact I believe the drive walks away from the crash. Of course they would claim that.... Im not saying that there was something wrong with the car, but porsches seem to have a history of bursting into flames and IF there were shortcuts made, then the lawsuit is legit. I dont doubt at an accident at that speed would hurt like all hell, but I would expect the car not be a fireball.

Really? You find it acceptable a VERY expensive supercar bursts into flames when crashed........ And this is not a first from Porsche, considering that the recalled a load of recent GT3 cars for what exactly...... oh YES bursting into flames. If it was the impact, fine, but the car burst into flames after hitting a tree........... that is not acceptable.

Interested thread, been rather tempted by something like thids purely for commuting to station. Does yours have a heated steering wheel? I did a lap of Nurburgring in one of these think we got 160kph on the straight

More pressure on England is better for Wales but they need to worry about beating Fiji first.
-
Gareth Edwards was sying that Wales will most definitely not be fielding a weaker team against Fiji and Gatland wants to put more pressure on England by getting a win over Fiji.... interesting few days of rugby Will be in Cardiff for the Wales Fiji game

I have to disagree, not with going for the lineout (although a successful kick would have kept us one point ahead of Wales in the table becuase of our bonus point against Fiji) but throwing to the front of the lineout, it's so easy to defend and the at that stage we didn't need the touchline to be a 16th Welshman but that's what we made it. It was a brave decision but very poorly executed. I aslo disagree that we lost it, Wales came out in the 2nd half and decided to attack the 13 channel (Brad Barritt outside centre) as they had had little joy runnig at Burgess, 12 channel, inside centre. Barritt missed 4 tackles I think, at least 2 of those AFTER Burgess was subsitiuted for Ford. Ford still made the tackles but they were 5 to 10m further back than where they were when Burgess was on the field, this resulted in the Wales backs having far more momentum and pace by the time they arrived at Barritt who we all know has no pace, they ran at his inside shoulder, turned him and the rest is history. Lancaster must accept the responsisbility for lots of reasons, firstly imo he omitted the wrong centre from the squad in Luther Burrell, Barritt should've gone. To make things worse he then put Ford on the bench and replaces the man he originally selected because of his physical presence (Burgess) The very reason he dropped Ford for Farrell was to counter the Welsh physicality. Bizarre. Fair play to Wales though, they wanted it more and they got their just reward. Well played. Some interesting points being discussed.... I think England made the right call on kicking for the line, Wales had been weakened (especially in the back line) by all the injuries and subs in the game, people out of position, which meant that the English backs would have stood a good chance even 1 on 1. It was also the right decision from a points perspective as they would not want to leave it all to chance (IE. points difference between Eng V Aus and Wales V Aus\0 and I dont blame them for wanting the win! At some point the captain also has to think positive and back the team he has on the field!! However, as said, throwing to the front, schoolboy error and that gave Wales the chance to defend well. In that game I thought England played well in the 1st half and were the better team, but Wales came back for the 2nd half and played better and IMO were the better team in the 2nd half. I think England dropped off a little when Lawes and Youngs went off injured, Lawes was doing a fantastic job of disrupting the lineouts, rucks, mauls and quick ball for Wales. Youngs was also getting the backs going and onto the front foot with his running. As Wales started to come back in the 2nd half, England started making more and more mistakes, its what pressure does, especially to young new players. Too many easy points were given away. As much as I would like to have SA in the top 3, the way they have been playing this year just does not qualify them for that. NZ, Aus and Ireland are the teams to beat. For anyone comparing Rugby V Football - Jean de Villiers SA captain, well now retired since he has been ruled out of the RWC came off the field with a fractured jaw and then went back on (not sure if he had teh fracture at that point). EDIT: this article states he went back onto the field with the fractured jaw for an injured team-mate............ http://www.the42.ie/jean-de-villiers-broken-jaw-samoa-play-on-2354140-Sep2015/ Same guy, Autumn internationals had his knee folded the wrong way, 6 knee ops later he is back! This is the video, but its harsh....

What a game!!!! Being a Welsh support Im hugely happy with how the team played, especially in the 2nd half, really stepped up the game. Shame about the injuries, but hopefully this means some fresh players with some new lines to surprise the rest For those that do not support Wales, England or rugby, the game probably wasnt the best, but from about 2 hours before I was nervous and it was nail biting to the end!!! Thats a brilliant video.... and I remember seeing a couple of soccer players that came to a six nations and they got interviewed and they were saying how great it was...... oh yes and they can have a pint!!!

Should be a good game!!

Last nights game does not inspire confidence in the England squad, for 70 minutes they were rubbish, couldnt event start the 2nd half strong and got lucky on some of the calls (IE. disallowed try, very very close to being missed). I don't think that's quit fair, Fiji are no pushover and to get the five tries against them was a good opening result, England were strong when it got wobbly in spots, but first night nerves played their part. Don't forget, Fiji are ranked 9th in the world rankings and the vast majority are playing high end pro rugby. Brown, who annoys me in the extreme, was outstanding, if he remains injury free, he'll score against anyone. No, Fiji are not push overs, but England lacked alot in the game and got very lucky that Fiji fatigued like they did at the end, which made the scoreline VERY flattering IMO. Brown annoys me as well but he is one hell of a player and was the only one who really pitched up. Saying that, SA just did that and more against Japan. I was at this game.... what support for Japan in the stands.... Im completely shocked that SA lost that, but they kept letting Japan back into the game, giving them easy penalties and turnovers. Off to Wales tomorrow, for there game. Ireland were looking awesome today!! Good in all aspects of the game........... they will me the team from Europe to watch

My point I dont on public roads, but on track is a different story - its a completely different beast. Where is the 370z now?
-
Have you turned the GTRs traction control off (and the Litchfield TC)?
-
Im going to have to agree wait till you get the GTR onto the track and really start to use it - its a whole different level

lol I'm taking my dad... none of my friends seemed interested in going from London to Cardiff to watch Uruguay! cool - yeah, not a big game, but still should be good fun to watch Wales at home Last nights game does not inspire confidence in the England squad, for 70 minutes they were rubbish, couldnt event start the 2nd half strong and got lucky on some of the calls (IE. disallowed try, very very close to being missed).

Taking my mom as well

We have nearly 2k worth of tickets all over the country!! In Brighton tomorrow and Wales on Sunday My household is some what torn, missus supports SA first and Wales 2nd, I support Wales 1st and SA 2nd, but at least we agree on 3rd place of "Anyone but England". Although oddly, if they make the finals we will support them, so long as its not SA or Wales Adrian, we will be meeting up with Sam when we go up to Newcastle for a game I think he owes me a dinner and a few drinks

Front mount, intakes and injectors seem like a good place to end it whens the first track day?

Dont want to contradict but Id say its actually the opposite, as engineering and materials become more advanced stuff will get smaller and lighter, youve only got to look at the ZEOD engine or how much composites are coming into car manufacturing, or the use of polymers to replace metals in wiring to see it. the problem is that the savings are being lost again on adding even more comfort and toys A great stat I heard once was that since 1970, despite advances the weight of IFE equipment on aircraft has increased by 10 times, where the weight of safety equipment hasnt increased at all. What does that tell you? sadly very little.... in the 70s what safety kit was on a car? Now we have airbags (many of them), bonnet pedestrian popup thing (its on the GTR, raises the bonnet so pedestrian doesnt land on solid engine, impact bars and not to mention all kit that forces things to move in specific directions in impact what has changed in aircraft safety since the 70s? Fire alarms, oxygen masks, slides......... always had them Considering the stat that air travel is the safest way to travel, I doubt that much has changed, whereas cars of the 70s were notorious for bad accidents.

most definitely and its why I run a MX5 on track as well as the GTR and yes I struggle to the missus out of it as well!!! And all my friends.... everyone takes it out. Good point about all the supporting bits and pieces.... And yes, drivers are a shrinking percentage, car is more a tool than anything else Agree, if it was 16-18k new, I would already have bought one. I prefer the cheaper base and I mod how I want it....
