  1. Thats actually a good point, the extras that come with the LEAF arent too bad, a group of us got to drive them round Nurburgring heated steering wheel, etc all way better than a focus Sly now has a Kia EV and he prefers that, didnt look too bad.
  2. Just keep in mind that Litchfield has never chased numbers with the GTR, they have always been about having a car that can handle and have good power. They are a lot more track focused!

    Kids

RE Nappy..... Rule number 1, keep your mouth CLOSED, Rule number 2, revisit rule 1, because you are going to forget it
  4. Not sharing the mock ups you can wait till the work is done Fetching her tomorrow, excited already..... new map, new injectors, new windscreen
  5. Colour for yours when it arrives Mine is going something completely different booked in for June 13th at PwPro, wrap is being designed now and I am loving the mock-ups! Believe me when I say I'd have a GTR in literally any colour, ...as long as it was a GTR I'd be over the moon. It's one of the only reasons I play the Lotto. We will need a mini GTR section on the forum This year should be entertaining for the GTR It should be along the lines of:- -wrap -custom aero (rear spoiler and front bumper) -front seats -strip the rear seats

    Audi R8

I tested a R8 v10 a little while back.... might have been the wrong flappy paddle one, but other than the noise and the looks, I was not impressed with it. Compare that to the N430 that I test drove a few weeks (similar prices), the Aston was awesome.... manual, noise, looks, etc. The R8 has no space for anything other than a backpack The interior just felt like another audi The visibility from the drivers seat was shocking Personally I would go Aston over the R8 everytime
  8. Seen it elsewhere...... I just wonder what kind of "special" individual it takes to go "yes, scandi flick at 300kmph", that sounds like a plan looks like seriously good fun
  9. Is this one going to work? I can just remember when Clarkson owned one of the previous versions and it was forever breaking down
  10. Consider the overnight sleeper car train from Dusseldorf to Vienna Couple of fellow GTR owners are doing this in September and ending up in Romania
  11. Makes an awesome noise its off to Sly this weekend to make everything perfect and do a lot of the small jobs, but cant wait to get it back on track! It was great fun before the SC and I might actually be able to pass a car on the straight now
  12. The SC Centre console trimmed, as I kept having issues on track
  13. She made 198hp with the new supercharger, its so easy to drive and so progressive that you hardly notice any changes. Mapped on regular unleaded so could make some more power with higher octane, cams, some head work and SC mods... but will leave it as is for now. She is off to Sly this weekend coming to finish off some other bits and pieces, setup the geo, etc and then hopefully its back to the tracks
  14. See, thats where you are wrong..... the rules are not simple, they are grey and open to interpretation. Also not all rules apply to MPs. Take for example the new rules on APNs and offshore taxation of contractors (have friends that are struggling with this now). All legal and signed off by the HMRC at the time, now they are applying retrospective taxation to them and issuing APNs to collect the money without completing the legislative side of things at tax tribunal. However, MPs who are known to have participated in the same schemes cannot have APNs issued against them. I only have an issue with it all because of the double sided rules. If they didnt have a problem with offshore taxation of contractors I wouldnt have a problem with this and would probably be trying to sign up (if I could afford it). Its the 2 faced nature of it all..... Cameron and Osbourne preaching about "FAIR" taxation and then this is what their families are doing, and both individuals gained from these arrangements.
  15. I just love all the talk about "fair" taxes, then we find out that Cameron and Osbourne (via their immediate family) have both gained from these sorts of offshore schemes. I also really like Camerons response to a question "its a private matter" cant be believe how "double sided" the laws are!
  16. my vote is for saving up for the GTR, but I may be a little biased
  17. or you could go daft with a quad rotor RX7
  18. I've thrown money at my zed, but it seems nothing happens! Throw the money at Keyser instead?
  19. Aside from the cars lol Oh damn............. ummmmmm............. I must have something.................. Nope, just the cars
  20. Probably should have and yours looked good Ridox front, cant go wrong
  21. Sides projects??? I dont understand........ aside from what I have a couple, all are projects at varying levels None are small GTR, MX5, 240z, Escort..... all in my signature
  22. I do love the RX7, but have never owned one.... For me, they are the Japanese equivalent to the European Alfa, quirky, things break, but in the end its worth it. I have however owned a Supra. I bought it knowing it would require engine work (spun bearings), not a great deal of work. Standard engine is good for 600bhp and standard 6 speed manual gearbox is good for over 800bhp. I went the odd route of staying the twin turbos and ended up with just under 500bhp, with hindsight, a big single would have been move driveable. It was an angry car and I am pretty sure its only goal was to put me into a hedge. Not the best pics, but you get the idea
