  1. A couple of us went out in the GTRs for a pedestrian lap, just to say we have done it, which was good.... torrential rain, rivers on either side of the crests, etc. Have also done a lap in Leaf which was a bit weird, especially the carousel..... Not a track I would do at pace in the GTR without knowing the track, so many blind turn-ins or braking zones that if you miss you are in the barrier. They do rent track prepared clios, etc which are supposed to be good fun and you get an instructor, so if you do feel like trying your luck, use someone elses car. Be warned, the excess is a bit excessive

as a matter of interest, what kit did you use for the photo?

    Yay a puddle!

its still a very good photo not at all bad for a handheld snap, would just like to see a little more light on the wheels, but still really really like it!
  4. I think most people are so used to seeing the 3 second 0-60 that they assume this must have similar. They also do tend to forget that these sorts of cars are not designed to go on a track (as in geared for massive acceleration out of corners), they are designed for touring. In gear acceleration on motorways, mountain passes, etc. After all, its a GT car, not supercar Im not a huge fan of them.... I wouldnt call them ugly, but I dont think they are gorgeous either
  5. Was this him in any of these? Thats the one.... I recognise the number plate

    Yay a puddle!

I actually like the old wheel Did you use any additional lighting? Only ask as you lose some detail in the wheels (not the old one )
  9. I dont myself, but I like the tech... I have a 3d printed supercharger manifold on my MX5 looks good and it will supposedly handle up to 170 degrees C, so going to have to push hard to get to those temps! I also like all the free designs that people have uploaded, some cool looking stuff

    New GTR

Must admit, this does look a whole lot better in the flesh! Saw a Euro spec one being wheeled off a transporter at a dealer. Not sure its worth the extra money to me (lucky I bought when I did), but it does look good. The blue paint looked awesome in the sun.
  18. Quick update Just ordered up the final bits of metal I require (the rear inner arches) and as soon as they are done the car will be prepped to be painted. Sadly, still undecided on colour (gunmetal grey or blue).......... Have bought:- Wheels and tyres Bumpers (bought ages ago) Arch extenders (bought ages ago) Fender mirrors (bought ages ago) Side clear indicators (bought ages ago) Have ordered:- Repair panels Front valiance Front clear indicators Rear strut brace Master bushing kit Still to order:- Shocks Springs Going to leave the interior as it was for now (expect for refurbing steering wheel, gearknob and replacing a small broken panel) to see what state it is actually in, been so long since I actually had the car! But will eventually add/replace seats, seatbelts, harnesses and fix the dash.
