The whine is good Mazda should seriously make these cars with a SC from the start Goodwood is fantastic for track days.... a little more expensive, but they limit it to 10 cars on track at a time. Its lovely and its an awesome track!

Its big, but the MX5 is small compared to most cars. My eyeline is bottom of the glass on most new cars (including Aygos)....

Yeah Goodwood is expensive, but limited numbers of cars on track at once is quite good and last time I checked, Brands full GP was similar price. Indy was cheaper....

Temp gauge only has 3 settings....... off, normal and way too late to do anything

Wasnt camo and will not be posting pictures..... Car is back home, with just the trim having been wrapped in satin black and the interior and engine bay having been detailed. Paint will be getting fixed over winter

First track day done....Had a great time and the car performed well. Exhaust is blowing - will need to get that fixed Idle issue developed towards the end of the day, car just would not idle, but with a touch of throttle it was fine Have maxed the suspension settings and there is still too much roll on the car and I still dont think its fast enough (currently 200bhp)! So will be looking at coilovers, ARBs and bracing to see what can be improved on the suspension side. Car is currently mapped for normal unleaded, so tempted to make a few changes to the supercharger and perhaps the engine to get a bit more out of it before doing a new map.

It was a great day..... car performed well! Must have done 10-12 sessions in the MX5 and no major issues. Exhaust is blowing a bit now, so will need to get that sorted. Also the car seems to dislike idling after a big session, once its been cooled (left idling fine) and then started again 10 minutes later - very odd. Went out for the last session, had a good run, came in and let the car cool, then switched off and came back about 10 minutes later to leave and just would not idle, so had to heel and toe for next 5 minutes while driving. It tipped it down during lunch and myself and a friend (in a Renault Megane) were 1st in queue to go out in the wet and had a great session!! Absolutely loved it out in the wet

Update.... wrap is coming off and I am going to fetch the car tomorrow. So new plan is to do some events and road trips in August and September then the car will go in to get all the stone chips fixed and the bootlid resprayed (needs to be sanded down, flattened and resprayed). So it will be staying red................. dilema
