  1. See I missed it on the PS3 so didn't really get what it meant by "remastered" at first as just thought it was part of the title but now it makes sense. I'm literally a few hours in now and I'm really gripped. Love playing the game as stealthily as I can tbh but I'm slowly starting to upgrade my weapons which is definitely helping when I do have to go loud although lack of ammo is an issue. Such a PITA having to work when I'd much rather be playing that game. You won't regret giving it a go marzman, ...sooner the better.
  2. Not always easy to find such bargains here in the UK either but could be worth seeing what Nic (nissanman312) below knows about getting a used BBK for you. Sounds good Nic.
  3. Just to reiterate, ....what they said. Horsham Developments (used these guys myself & highly recommend): http://h-dev.co.uk/our-services/mapping-and-dyno-hire/?v=79cba1185463 Abbey Motorsport: http://www.abbeymotorsport.co.uk/content/tuning Also Tdi North do UpRev: http://www.tdi-north.com/services/dyno-tuning-services
  4. Would love a ride in any of those Zeds so yes I'll give you a heads up if I'm ever heading your way. Brakes I did run my 436Bhp supercharged Zed on track with only a little better than the standard brakes set up, ...I used EBC Turbo Groove discs (standard OEM size), Ferodo DS2500 pads, Goodridge s/s braided brake lines with Motul RBF600 brake fluid. This set up worked well enough for a short stint but anymore than 5 laps or so and I'd have started to lose the brakes imo I'm sure. Although obviously your car doesn't weigh more than a standard Zed it does go a lot faster now (as did mine). The problem with that though is that when you're on track you'll be going a lot faster than any standard Zed in a much shorter space meaning that a corner a standard Zed might approach at 60mph you could be doing more like double that speed. This means that you'll realistically need to start braking a lot earlier for corners than a standard Zed if you're still running standard or near standard brakes. Personally I didn't get a BBK but only because I ran out of funds to get it done when I had my car supercharged. It was on my to do list though should I have kept the car for longer. Is it worth getting? Tbh in your case I'd say 100% yes especially as I think you're going to be keeping your Zed for the long haul and you enjoy driving it hard (as it should be ). Just think of it as an investment in "not crashing". A big brake kit new or used is a lot of money but definitely cheaper than repairing your Zed should you run out of braking space on the track or road. Maybe try zmanalex to see if he has a used BBK you can get cheaply? Probably not but just an idea. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/user/9648-zmanalex/ Interested to see what you decide but at the end of the day it is your money, your car & your decision so it's all good whichever way you go as long as you're happy.
  5. Yeah forget Adrian Flux at the moment as I went to renew my car and they were almost £200 more than anywhere else. I'm going with the RAC this/next year as they gave a very competitive quote with low excesses & decent extras included like free legal cover/assistance. Have you tried looking on "Go Compare"? That's where I usually get my quotes from before anywhere else. Might be worth checking "Admiral" too as I hear they're pretty good.
  6. Would love to experience a ride in this Zed as I bet it's amazing. As for your brakes I'd honestly try to stretch your budget to a big brake kit if you can. I'd say with the power your car has honestly nothing else is really a sensible option. Sure Adrian@Torqen or one of the other traders on here could do you a good deal or maybe you could find some used from zmanalex? Maybe worth a PM. Link: http://www.torqen.uk/91-big-brake-kits
  7. Love the videos, ...seems to pull really hard which must feel amazing. Re: Brakes ~ Have you got a big brake kit then or not? I thought you did tbh but can't remember now. Have you tried Ferodo DS2500 pads?
  8. ^^ Not heard of that Gizmo. Just bought "The Last Of Us ~ Remastered" for my PS4. Excellent game so far and loving the detailed environments.
  9. Usually the way with newly fitted springs. Definitely looking a lot better than the first picture you posted so you should be very pleased.
  10. Sounds good & look forward to seeing the video when you can.
  11. Try zmanalex or Emperor Tuning on here as both deal in good quality used parts. zmanalex: http://www.350z-uk.com/user/9648-zmanalex/ Emperor Tuning: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/232-emperor-tuning/ You could also try Keyser as he & the Zed shed were breaking a Zed so "may" have an exhaust system: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/108941-breaking-fire-damaged-53-plate-azure-350z/page__st__80#entry1667154 Good luck & welcome aboard Rob.
  12. Wow that's a pretty unique car to have owned here in the UK. I remember when I was signing on once in between jobs & I was driving a my96 JDM Subaru Impreza (pics a couple of pages back), ....pretty sure back then they all thought I was a drug dealer.
  13. Cheers for the info. Always good to get an ex-owners view. I've never owned a V8 or V10 and tbh I'd really love to see if I could get one or the other as my next car just to experience the sound really. Time will tell though, I've only had this car since May.
  14. Moved to the "Photos" area as is more fitting. Zeds looking great.
  15. ^^ Gosh you've had some quality cars Alpinaman. Have to ask you though how did you find the M5? Have any issues? I've always kind of wanted one of those and was actually looking at them before getting my current car (an S3). Really only want it because of the V10 engine. This is my current car, link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/108109-new-car-time-again-my-new-german-whip/
  16. I love that picture of your Zed with the clouds/rain to the right & sunshine to the left, great picture. Cheers for sharing.
  17. I did wonder if you'd maybe had a Alpina BMW previously going from your username. We're all petrolheads (of some description) on here so all makes are usually of interest to most. If you've got any pictures of your old cars I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting to see them. Thread here if you fancy sharing: http://www.350z-uk.c...-car-pics-here/
  18. Sounds good then. Post some pictures next time you get a chance & enjoy your Zed.
  19. Welcome aboard. AFAIK the "GT Edition" should have the stripe "GT Edition" decals down the side (easily removable though), some suspension tweaks, darker chrome Rays, TPMS and I can't think but sure there is more over the standard 370's. Some info here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/47746-370z-gt-edition-press-release/
  20. Yep really like the colour of that purple one & the styling is pretty nice too, ...just cannot believe he fitted a tow bar on it though.
  21. Welcome aboard Paul. Plenty of traders on here to help you with your mods when you get started.
  22. Hope you're right Matt as that will certainly make the job cheaper to fix & closer to what's been quoted to get it sorted. The reason I think it's dented slightly though is from the first picture where if you look at the line of the rear arch is doesn't look (to my eye anyway) like a nice sweeping curve anymore. Seems uneven.
