  1. Welcome aboard Scott. Definitely think if ever some pictures were needed it's from you, ..."Caterhams to McLarens", "S7 kit car". Don't worry about the Mondeo though as we all know what they look like.
  2. The detail on those figures is great, ...why'd they have to make them looking so pi**ed off though? I mean you wouldn't necessarily want them smiling but they look really upset. Cool though.
  3. You probably know this already leonk but thought I'd mention it anyway that you may find you'll need to re-tap a lot of the threads on the body were it was painted, ...that is if the bodyshop didn't plug the holes with old bolts. I used to restore classic cars in a car restorers in Cardiff years ago so have been in your shoes many times albeit never my own car alas as they were always customer cars (mainly MG's but also a few Astons, a couple of Austin Healeys & Triumphs for good measure). Have fun and look forward to reading more.
  4. Just linked two "wanted" adverts to your sale for these Ian so hopefully there's a buyer between them. GLWTS.
  5. Berks HFC's for sale used here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/112098-fs-350z-berk-hfc/ Just in case you're interested.
  6. These just popped up Paul: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/112098-fs-350z-berk-hfc/ Hopefully Ians already told you but just in case he forgot.
  7. Plus one. I think we should really "sticky" this thread and just link to it every time a new member joins saying; "I've just bought a Nismo 350Z!".
  8. I had Berks De-Cats which I bought new for £150 odd delivered from an eBay seller which was a good price tbh so I didn't see the point at the time in risking it with some "slightly" cheaper versions. I know a few members on here though are running cheap eBay versions, ...pretty sure Bradders is and hasn't any complaints. Hopefully they'll post.
  9. That's not particularly good then. Good luck still.
  10. Welcome aboard Simon. Most popular (and easiest imo) way to add pictures to the forum is by using Photobucket. Guide here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/103472-how-to-add-your-photos-to-the-forum/
  11. Love the last version of the LED back lit "Z". Great work on that & a unique touch too.
  12. You'll need to knock up a proper for sale ad for those bits Baiden but once you do I'm sure those bits will sell quickly. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/215-370z-parts-for-sale/
  13. i did have a look at the buyers guide, im just more curious on issues that might not be classed as major but still common Welcome aboard. Not sure how much of this is in the "buyers guide" but a few things below which spring to mind... Rust on rear arches. Standard exhaust rusting through ~ mainly on the rear flange area near the backbox. Boot lid needing two presses of the button to open (easily fixed usually ~ search for "the penny trick"). Fuel flap release button or ESP (traction control button) being pressed into dash (easy fix ~ unscrew panel, push button back).
  14. Sounds like you already know what to do imo. HR.
  15. Love the garage makeover. Definitely have my OCD working overtime with that sort of thing, ..everything has a place & everything in its right place.
  16. Bit of a difference there, ...I mean firstly mileage wise but then secondly price wise. Performance wise there really isn't a lot in it but the HR is a nicer looking Zed imo because of the hump bonnet but then that can be easily fitted to the DE Zed. The price difference though if you did go for the 2006 350Z would leave you a nice lump sum for the HR hump bonnet and any other mods or service items that you may want or that might pop up. Oh and just to reiterate it is not a Nismo. They are as rare as rocking horse poo and AFAIK there was literally only one UK import by a Nissan dealership of a genuine Nismo 350Z into the whole of the UK and that one is most likely in a museum. It does however have the Nismo side skirts, spoiler etc but you can buy those all separately.
  17. Firstly sorry to burst your bubble but it won't really be a real "Nismo" edition 350Z. It will be a 350Z just with some Nismo add on's. Possibly factory fitted or aftermarket but definitely not done in house by Nismo. 2006 year 350Z so it will most likely be the DE UpRev engine. Easiest way to tell if it's the HR engine or not is whether the car has two air intakes as the DE engines only have one air intake. Mileage wise it all depends on how it's been driven and maintained. As long as it's been un-abused and serviced regularly/correctly these engines can easily go into the 100K miles mark & on. Service schedule here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/31110-service-schedule-for-a-350z/ 350Z buyers guide here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/77426-buyers-guide/
  18. I must be it's mother then cause I actually like that MC12. Just Googled it to see how close I am to being able to afford one, ...unfortunately I'm just roughly £1,190,000.00 short of the price tag.
  19. My eBay lance has a vertical fan spread too which I definitely prefer as you can just sweep it left to right which covers the car top to bottom in one sweep.
  20. Welcome aboard Jack. The Zeds do like to drink a bit like any performance car, ...just as long as it's only drinking plenty of super unleaded rather than premium unleaded or oil then it will be fine.
  21. Still available the Op has informed me today ~ bump to the top for you Spatt.
  22. Hate the way that NSX exhaust looks from the rear but by god it sounds good.

    TMC

You just reminded me of that old (slightly sexist) joke, @Mrzapie ~ glad nothing came of the TMC warning though.
