  1. That's a heck of a tyre stack. No wonder it left such a dent. Again I hope you get it fixed quickly and as hassle free, low cost as possible.
  2. Wilo, no offence intended but it's because you keep posting things in the wrong areas. Like this thread as an example ~ you've posted it in "350Z General" but something like this should have been posted in the "Forum Help" sub section. It's not just you though as I have to move lots of threads from other members as well. Just try to have a think as to which area/sub section best suits your thread/question before you post in future and I'm sure they'll stay where you put them.
  3. Welcome aboard. To post pictures the best way is by using Photobucket. Guide here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/103472-how-to-add-your-photos-to-the-forum/
  4. Not at all (see above). I've had plenty of older cars and they don't always cause problems at MOT time especially the way I look after them. My Zed for example passed year on year with no advisories.
  5. Just another option for you here wilo that nobody has mentioned, what about an exhaust bypass valve? Basically in case you don't know it's a servo operated valve/s that you have installed in your exhaust system which when opened will bypass your normal exhaust system and just release the gases where it is. You can position it where you like but I think for the loudest increase in volume most of the people that I've seen install the valve/s just after the Cats or De-Cats (you could fit it just in front of your backbox which I think another member did). Some info & videos for you in this thread: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63039-qtp-bypass-valve/ Ones for sale on eBay but you may find them cheaper elsewhere: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/282163232289?lpid=122&chn=ps&adgroupid=27378760866&rlsatarget=pla-181484350386&adtype=pla&poi=&googleloc=1007415&device=c&campaignid=620865095&crdt=0 Just more food for thought.
  6. No problem at all Jimmy. To the top for free (bump that is).
  7. Always an interesting read even if the pictures do make me feel dizzy looking at them.
  8. "Can the alloy be repaired?" Well yes is the answer but personally I'd never risk it imho if your alloy looks anything like the above or worse. I'd just bin it and get another one. It may cost you £150 or whatever for a new alloy but it is definitely cheaper then having a damaged/repaired alloy that fails causing you to crash & damage your car (although I'm sure most professionally repaired alloys are safe it's just personally I wouldn't risk it for the cost of an alloy). Your choice. I found this place online if you did want to look at possibly repairing your alloy: http://www.alloywheelrepairs.net/
  9. Try zmanalex &/or Clark Motorsport first I'd say followed by the other usual suspects in the traders area. Torqen, Tarmac Sportz, Cougar Store etc etc.
  10. These pensioners do know how to cook, ...so what recipes did he give you then? MX5 looks good btw and nice to see you've got a hardtop as I personally think they look much better with it.
  11. Good shout. Happy Birthday Rock_Steady.
  12. Yep I concur on that Dan. Can't say I've ever heard anything running ITB's that didn't sound good on WOT.
  13. Ooohh nasty Trig. That's quite a dent there. Is it all just cosmetic though really or has it damaged anything major? What did you hit btw? Tyre stack or something. Hope you get it fixed okay.
  14. That is scarily real looking JEMAN, ...I'd be a little worried about it coming to life at night and attacking you a la "Small Soldiers".
  15. Definitely agree with you there. I really like my current car the S3 but it sounds absolutely rubbish when compared to my old Zed. Yeah I realy struggle with sound of most of these new hatches as good as they are They all seem so hollow and all do that farty pop pop thing lol One of the most popular & highly rated exhausts you can buy for the S3 is the BCS Powervalve exhaust system. On the Audi forum they all bang on about it but I just think it sounds rubbish... Happy with how my car goes as it is definitely quick but it's going to need a V-block with a lot more cylinders if it's ever going to sound good imo.
