Wouldn't work for me as my video player broke years ago. Just ordered a VHS-DVD from that company so I'll post my VHS off tomorrow and let you know how I get on with that.
-
Thanks Pete, I might give that company a go as I've only got one tape that I really want to convert as it's got about 6 track days or so on there. Thanks again.

I really need to do this too Ian before my VHS tapes stop working. I've got some old track day footage from when I was younger that I really want to keep and put on DVD. When I last looked at the VHS/DVD combo players that grundy225 mentioned they where around £250+ which I think is pretty expensive considering not many people nowadays even use VHS anymore. I was waiting for them to come down in price tbh but I know I can't wait forever as tapes degrade. Would love to find a company that could do it for me cheaply rather than buy a £250+ machine that I may only use once. Let us know please if you do find anywhere that does it.

I got lucky today as I finish work at 2:30 on Friday's and there was a dry spell. I gave my 350 a full clean/wash/dry & then put it in the garage afterwards. Applied the G1 to all my windows whilst it was in the garage so just got to wait and see next time it rains what it's actually like.

Car look's great, really nice diffuser and the exhaust sounds lovely, ...but flip flops!! Come on, ..not sensible driving shoes or even for walking in imo.

Chavs near me are usually younger guys & girls (12-30 something year olds) who generally demand maximum respect from all age groups/races etc yet have absolutely none for other people/property or the law. Generally it would be better for society if they where euthanized at birth but apparently that's not politically correct and against there human rights no matter who they abuse or what laws they break.

^^ That's good news for you and at least there's plenty of time vbjr before the nicer weather to sort out any problems and make it shine. -
Great price.

I always link these guides to the newbies if they ask or need them. Great read 14N.

Try eBay or a breakers yard. Also I believe there are some traders on here who may be able to help you source one. On topic: I've been toying with the idea of having mine dipped after I saw some carbon fibre dipped handles on Super Stu's 350 I believe it was. There was a guy on here that used to do it for members but has since stopped but luckily I've found a local company who can do this type of thing very cheaply & there results look great on there site. Think I might give them a go once I've stopped paying bills. Here's there site for anyone interested; http://www.aquagraphix.co.uk/

^^ Sounds like a good plan downhuman. Always good to see how different products compare from a none biased source.

I'm paying £389 fully comp with all the bells & whistles. So glad those stupidly high insurance premium days are behind me.

Welcome aboard vbjr. Pity the weathers not too good for a roadster but you will be loving it even more next summer. Enjoy. -
I only like there breakfast's and I didn't go there, just had it hand delivered to me, so I think I'm ok. Thank you to everyone for the kind words. Hope HASH is right as I'd love a supercharger on my Zed one day as I'm sure most of us would.

Looks very nice from the outside but I would want to see some interior pictures and an engine bay pic. Over priced though for sure.

^^ It's ears are under the pancake ATTAK Z. Good luck grundy225 btw.

Heh nice. The main thing is preparing the windscreen properly first. Give it a good deep clean before using the polish. I would highly recommend using super fine (0000) steel / wire wool. It may sound odd rubbing your windscreen with this but trust me it won't scratch and it really gets all the marks off. Thanks for the heads up both. I've actually got some Isopropanol from work so I'm pretty sure that will get most debris/deposits off. The weathers not looking good still for the weekend though so it will be probably next summer by the time I get a chance to do this anyway.

Steve from Scotland, looking for a baby GT-R
GMballistic replied to Steeev88's topic in Introductions & Welcome Messages
Welcome aboard Steve. Mpg all depends on how you drive it. You'll see better results from motorway driving than you would around town obviously but on the whole I don't think it's too bad. If you've had a few performance car's already then you know your going to be using more fuel than a 1.25 Fiesta Zetec anyway. Considering coming across to the Z side

Hi Jason, I've just recently sold my old car which was an 03' Honda Civic Type R 30th Anniversary Edition so I've only had my 350 a few weeks now but it was one of the best decisions I've made. I loved how reliable the Civic was and I had it for 3+ years with no mechanical issues at all. When I sold it I had 118K miles on the clock so it wasn't a low mileage example either. I wasn't even looking for a 350 when I bought mine. I was just looking for something a bit more luxurious, grown up and smarter preferably with leather heated seats & a few other goodies. After looking at Golf R32's, Audi S4's, BMW M3's and a few other random car's I finally stumbled across a local garage selling two 350's. Both UK spec with the GT packs. The one I wanted in black turned out to be sold but they had a very nice gun metal grey version with fsh which I test drove and discovered it was exactly what I had been looking for. The torque is fantastic on these car's in comparison and although my mpg figure is probably less than what I could achieve in my EP3 it doesn't really bother me. If you can Jason go out and test drive one as I'm sure you will not be disappointed. -
Thanks for that everyone. Didn't really think I'd get this many response's but this is one of the best forums I've ever been on before so I shouldn't really be shocked by the nice replies from you guy's. Just been "force" fed another bit of chocolate cake so I'm hoping longsh07's prediction doesn't come true and I do make 35 next year. Thanks again all for the nice comments.

Just thought I'd share it's my 34th Birthday today. Honestly never thought I'd live this long. Got some new trainers & cash from my mother but Dad came up trumps with a K&N panel filter & new fuel filler cap for my 350. Happy with that and the guys in work bought me McDonalds breakfast this morning and cake for lunch so can't complain. Having a good day so far.

DC2 sounds a good idea nowhereboy. Plenty of scope for modding too just like with the EP3.

My Pioneer double din works fine with the steering wheel controls. I'd recommend a Pioneer like grundy225 mentioned or a Kenwood double din head unit.
