  1. Your caps lock appears to be stuck on Paul. As for head units, plenty to choose from at around the £200 mark; http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/jvc-kwav51-jvc-kw-av51-double-din.html http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/121099690870?hlpht=true&ops=true&viphx=1&lpid=95&device=c&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=95&ff19=0 http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-pioneer-avh-x1500dvd_p-27763.htm You just need to shop around for the best price once you find the one you like that does everything you want it to.
  2. +1 i'm at 28% too! I only play maybe once every couple of weeks, but when i do it's for a good few hours. Not been online yet. Same. I want to try online but there's just so much to do still in the single player game that I think I'll leave online till I can at least get through half the game. If I do go online though I think I'll have to try Dedman's super plan & get to the chopper.
  3. I've had a few crashes/spins in my time on the roads and track days Ekona. The main thing is you where ok and nobody else was hurt. Imo having a crash or spin can make you a better driver and as Madmarky said; "even racing drivers with hours of experience have accidents". Sometimes sh*t just happens. Don't beat yourself up over it.
  4. You may find reading some of this a help Paul; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/15611-what-you-need-to-upgrade-your-350z-audio-system/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/55445-wiring-in-a-new-hu-this-guide-may-help/
  5. My tyres on the standard GT spec 18" Rays are 225/45 on the front and 245/45 on the rear as you thought. Speed rating is important imo especially if you plan on putting your foot down safely. That's what the letter indicates on the end of the tyre specifics. eg: 225/45/18W. I'd say you want a "Z" rating atleast which is 150mph+. "W" is 168mph+. I've used Camskill in the past for tyres but there is also Black Circles but I've not tried them yet but it could be good for a price comparison. http://www.camskill.co.uk/m61b0s0p0/Car_Tyres_-_MPV_Tyres_-_People_Carrier_Tyres_-_18_inch http://www.blackcircles.com/
  6. Trackdays are great fun imo Rob whatever you drive. Done quite a few myself over the years and I've always got a great buzz from doing them in my car's. First one I did was in a standard 1992 Rover 214si and I loved it. Got over taken on the straights by Sierra Cosworths, Caterhams and all manner of faster vehicles but out cornered a lot of faster cars which made my day.
  7. As CS stated try Camskill for tyres as there usually pretty good on price. Good to hear you're keeping it nowhereboy I'm sure you won't regret it unlike you would if you sold it.
  8. I do like Avon ZZ3's as I used them for 3 years on my old EP3 and they where very good. Not sure I'd have put different tread patterns on the front to the back though adam1942 but glad it's improved your car's handling from your old tyres in your opinion.
  9. Love this game. Been playing it off & on since day one but am still only 28% done. Think it's going to take me a long time to complete this as Zeditus takes up a lot of my time nowadays.
  10. Cheers WhackyWill. Think I'm ok having a McD's breakfast ever once in awhile though as I spend nearly 4hrs every Saturday cleaning & polishing my Zed.
  11. Same here in the South 350zedd. Just rain & more rain.
  12. Don't they say that dark chocy is supposed to be good for us?! Lol. Hope so because that would mean I'm well fit.
  13. No problem Lyndzzz. Hope you get it sorted and I'm sure that Ewen will help you out with that.
  14. Over the moon, first Permanent job with a salary where I can now actually think about moving out etc and starting my life Great news grundy225. Best of luck to you in your new job.
  15. Are these the fixings that you need?; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-8mm-Trim-Clip-for-Bumpers-Splashguards-Liners-/290878901030?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item43b9bbcb26 As for the splash guard inner wheel arch liner it's best to look for a 350Z that someone's breaking on eBay and then ask them if they have one you could buy/& for how much. Hope that helps.
  16. ^^ Sounds like a good plan Griffos. Let us know how they turn out.
  17. Been raining here in South Wales all afternoon & evening but other than that not too bad.
  18. I knew this thing was easy to remove Easty but just hadn't got around to it. Now I know what I'm going to be doing tomorrow afternoon. Thanks.
  19. Pictures work ok. Second picture of your Zed though looks like it was taken by someone with parkinsons. Other than that lovely colour Zed.
  20. I love the Rays alloys on the 350's and don't think I'll ever change mine. The colour thing Griffos is always a difficult question because everyone has different tastes & ideas of what looks good on cars. Really you should just make up your own mind ~ after all if there weren't people like you trying something a bit "louder" & different then we'd all be driving around in identical cars. As you've got a spray gun/compressor I'd maybe be tempted to paint one wheel orange and then another in the purple pearl clear coat. That way you can offer up both wheels to the car and see what look's best in your opinion.
  21. Just been having a good read through all of this whilst the Mrs watches X Factor. Awesome motor you've got there The Chubby Ninja but flippin' hell cannot believe some of your bad luck on the way to Abbey. Glad to read it turned out all good for you in the end and the car sound's great on that dyno. Would love to see you do a tunnel run in the charged beast.
