  1. Think from his post he has the Clarion CD player head unit. @Mart: maybe you could send this company a message to see if they can help or have any ideas. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350Z-Clarion-Radio-Repair-Service-/120621144139 Also just found this previous thread and a user in this thread may be able to help you. His name is ;atkin666 if he's still on here anymore. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/62855-help-radio-code-needed/ Hope that helps.
  2. Do you mean in carbon fibre? You could always get the carbon fibre look by having your own dipped. http://www.aquagraphix.co.uk/
  3. Do you think it would be possible to hook up a separate washer bottle for the head light washers? That way we could just fill it with liquid car wax & it will wax the car for us every time we wash the windscreen at night when the lights are on.
  4. 24,000 posts odd. How do you have time to work?!. Happy Birthday & all the best. I don't post as much as I used to, some might say it's a good thing!! The more active members the better I think.
  5. Now that would be flipping hilarious.
  6. I never knew it did it until one fateful night. It is a stupid feature.
  7. This dealer is only about 25 minutes from where I live and I've bought a car from them with no problems & good service. Tbh honest I don't know why they have that Autotrader ad set up with such a low price?! Unless it is a genuine mistake or another Zed that they have not taken in yet and are just using that photo of this one; http://www.howemotors.co.uk/used-cars/search-results?make=NISSAN in the mean time until they get another photo. The mileage is 77K I think on the £4k Autotrader Zed ad and 68K miles on the one on there site for almost £7k (so could be a different car there selling, ..but why use the same pic?). The other thing I can tell you is that I actually was going to go up to look at the black Zed that is on there site for sale now before I got my current Zed. When I rang up about it though I discovered someone had put a deposit down on it over the phone and was coming down the following Saturday to view & then probably buy. When I decided to visit them a week or so later that Zed had been sold and was no longer there so maybe the buyer has brought it back to them or couldn't afford it as I believe they said he was using finance to get it. Is a bit over priced but they always are and you just have to haggle with these people as you do at most second hand car sellers garages. Is a bit strange though.
  8. Looks like a great Zed Paul. One thing though; I would delete the bit about the "clicky rear axle" after all you said you've fixed it. Might put some people off as they could think there's a problem which will re-occur. GLWTS.
  9. ^^ Definitely and it's a subject I think most of us can appreciate as well.
  10. Potential buyers guide here with some good info; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/22880-guide-for-new-memberspotential-buyers/
  11. The BMW forum I was on, I ended up starting a craze with them! Haha. Not sure it will catch on here but you never know. Car look's mint though.

  13. +1. My mate did a Ferrari experience & absolutely hated it. Instructor seemed too worried he was going to crash the car and the pedals where too close together for his massive feet. Definitely agree there mouthwash. Great circuit to drive & very enjoyable experience. Also the Lotus Elise experience they used to do was great and E-type Jag.
  14. Somebody on here pointed me in the direction of these "Drive Clean" videos on Youtube before. There are loads of great tips & things to learn imo.
  15. Look's great. Really good job on those mod's, ...apart from the hula flowers imo.
  16. Welcome aboard Soren40. I've had various performance cars over the years and tbh the 350Z is my favourite so far hands down. It's the first rwd car I've owned and I've only had it just over 2 months but love it. The best thing you can do imo is go out to see a few and go out on a test drive to see what you think for yourself.
  17. ^^ Don't forget the red Honda badge.
  18. He's done this and can sign in ok but it's when he tries to post it just gets binned. He's away to try again. That happened to me as well when I first joined. I was going to post in the "introductions & welcomes" when I first joined but after I wrote out my hello message twice (was quite long) only to lose it each time I tried to post it I gave up. Found that I had no problem though using the "reply to this topic" box so just didn't bother with the intro in the end. I can start threads now though so whatever was wrong fixed itself.
  19. ^^ Very "James Bond" . I've done quite a few of these "driving experiences" type of things over the years and by far one of the most enjoyable was driving a single seater. The good thing about doing the single seater type experience SuperStu is that because there is only one seat your alone in the vehicle and can really just enjoy it without worrying about some instructor sitting next to you. One of the single seater experiences I did was at Castle Combe in a Formula Ford which was great fun. You start the day off with some tuition in a class room, followed by an instructor taking you around the track in a Ford Focus pointing out all the various turn in points and braking areas. Then it's your turn to drive the Ford Focus around the track building up your speed lap after lap with the instructor giving you pointers. After that the instructor then allows you just to drive as hard & fast as you can; providing you can show good track skills you then get the "ok" to drive the single seater around the circuit on your own. It was a lot of fun and even though the Formula Ford doesn't have the most powerful of engines it is still more than enough to get you round the track in a rapid fashion. I was really pleased with my results as I didn't spin (unlike some) over took everyone in front of me and scored the highest bar one person in a class of around 40 odd drivers.
  20. Don't get me started on cyclists. They run red lights, treat the pavements as a road way, most have no helmets or lights, swerve in & out of traffic: undertaking & overtaking and then moan at vehicle drivers who have the right to use the roads imo because we all took driving tests, pay insurance, display number plates, have lights and have MOT's/tax. Shouldn't be on the roads imo until they display number plates/pay insurance/tax and are accountable for there actions. I know there not all bad and a lot of people I work with actually cycle to work (safely & responsibly) but unfortunately I believe from what I've seen the majority of cyclist's are selfish stupid people.
  21. Explains soooooo much really Sent from the golf club...
