  1. ^^ Like it mattross1313.
  2. I know the R32 looks good but I wouldn't. Too heavy & not enough power to move it imo. I know 4WD is great though but it is also more expensive to fix if things start to go wrong. I know I'm driving a 350Z so you probably think I'm biased but before getting my car I was looking at all sorts, none of which was a Nissan 350Z. I didn't really know what car I was after to replace my 2003 Civic Type R at the time but I did have a wish list; Heated leather seats, full electrics, faster, great looks and 4wd if possible although that wasn't a must have. I test drove and looked at lot's of cars but mainly Audi S3's and VW Golf R32's. For my budget I struggled to find anything close to what I wanted and was disappointed with pretty much every car I had seen for one reason or another. In the end just by chance I came across a local "ish" garage selling two 350 Zeds ~ after a quick call I discovered that the one I liked in black had already sold but I decided to have a look at the other one. I had never really considered a RWD car tbh but after driving the Zed I was sold and so far I'm more than happy with it. Best looking car I have ever owned imo and it drives great.
  3. It's unbelievable that they do it with someones pride & joy with no concern for what might happen or any concern for the consequences though. My mate has a heavily modified Impreza that he's had for years and has pretty much learnt to do most of the work needed on it himself as he doesn't trust leaving his car with any garage now. The last time he left it with a garage for a simple 4 wheel laser alignment some snot nose lil' ginger mechanic said to him; "that's so quick your car", his reply was; "how the f**k do you know?!". Turns out two of the mechanics who work at the garage had taken his car out for a spin even though there was no need to whatsoever just to see what it was like.
  4. Good mod's shopping list so far but as 14N mentioned you will need a re-map to see any real improvement. The Zed will feel & sound a lot better though after you get all that and a re-map done for sure. I'd also add to number 3 a pair of "High Flow Cats" (HFC) to go with the full exhaust system.
  5. @2:28 ~ Did that driver even have a co-driver?! ..or was it a co-pilot.
  6. 2014 Road trip, see you there! lol Seriously considering it.
  7. It is a laugh but how is this crap on £154K+!! Obviously most bids are bo**ocks but still.
  8. Isn't this going to make it a lot easier for the scum in our society to just not pay for road tax (VED) and get away with it?! I mean currently if a member of the public (us) see's an un-taxed vehicle on our roads it is pretty easy for us to tell and report it to the Police. But with the new system we won't be able to even tell from the sound's of it as it will look just like any other car with nothing displayed on the windscreen. Also I'm sure this system would make it harder for the Police to be able to tell as well because they would need to use there ANPR equipped vehicles to be able to tell rather than just looking in the window. Maybe I've missed something but am I right in thinking this or what?
  9. That's such a terrible thing to happen to anyone. Really boils my blood reading that and the way Nissan Doncaster have treated him. My advice is never take your Nissan to them unless you want it to end up looking like this guys did.
  10. Pretty impressive. Would love to drive that mountain road as well.
  11. Love the engine bays on your car's Tricky-Ricky. You really must have spent a lot of time, effort and cash to get them looking that good. Also some very interesting blade shapes & designs on those knives. I have enjoyed making knives over the years because I like making things with my hands and making things that can't be bought in the shops by everyone. Last knife I made was a cheap folding lockback knife kit by "Rough Riders" but still very satisfying to do. I added some file work to the back spring, modified the blade shape to make it more of a clip point & polished the stainless steel to a mirror finish. Looked great when I had finished it & it's the only one like it in the world.
  12. Good luck with that mc. Couldn't have happened at a worst time of year for it. Bl**dy freezing outside at the moment.
  13. ^^ Are you sure that's a stubby aerial 14N?! On my laptop it looks more like one of those aerials that is fat at the base & then thins out half way up. Might be wrong though as my eyes are 34 years old.
  14. No tunnels on my way to work, ...only traffic lights & traffic.
  15. Good to read all the Falken 452 tyre owners who have moved on in to Michelin PSS are pleased with them as this is what I plan on doing next year once my 452's get a bit closer to the legal limit.
  16. ^^ Liked the video Grundy225. Glad to see some people doing the right thing atleast.
  17. Looks great. You just need to drive the Zed a lot now ~ engine can't be hardly run in yet with that low mileage.
  18. Welcome aboard and just read your build thread ~ liked it.
  19. Think your budget and mileage expectations are more than realistic. You should be able to get a great Zed on your budget. Welcome aboard and good luck with your search.
  20. Happy for you Steel Lynx. Some great mod's and even greater results. Any chance of you doing a "tunnel run" video because I bet that exhaust sounds awesome on full chat.
  21. Very nice as others have said. Really great looking Zed.
