Desey I wouldn't bother honestly. Have a look on the Tarmac Sportz website as I'm sure for the price of that ebay item + a decent filter & delivery you could easily find a better low cost kit on there site.

Seriously though it would be good if you could get some carbon interior parts ~ especially like the drivers & passengers door pull/electrics holder. Would save people having to get this dipped or sprayed.

haha! Also I'm not tight, the thing went from looking like I had just under quater of a tank to zero miles in the space of about 5 minutes. The petrol gauge is useless! I don't believe that. Where is the evidence for Zeds ever having a faulty fuel gauge. I just can't believe that because there always so accurate.

I would say from my own personal experience that the best the Op can hope for is that Evans Halshaw contribute a small amount to him getting a rebuild or second hand engine as a good will gesture. I bought a JDM Impreza WRX that went bang one month after I bought it ~ big end failure due to oil starvation after the oil pump failed. The seller although a registered car dealer had sold me the car from his home address with no warranty. After some advice from "citizens advice", letters back & forth to the seller, he eventually stumped up £500 towards the cost of my engine rebuild as a good will gesture. Little consolation really as the engine rebuild cost me £4500 but then I did upgrade a few parts along the way for peace mind (uprated pistons/con-rods/oil pump etc). Good luck and hope you do get a decent out come.

Showing your age there Will. What are you? ...like 60, 65 maybe??. Seriously though my old man had a TR6 and he loved it too. Great little convertibles. Remember seeing them race & TR7's at Castle Combe many years ago. Nowadays you have to be watching "Historic" racing to see them on track.

Glad you're happy with the results wizurd. I was starting to wonder if you got home ok or if you where just too busy driving around enjoying it to post. I've got Berks HFC's & Invidia Gemini system going on Wednesday so can't wait to hear what the Zed sounds like afterwards.
