  1. Must be insane going straight from a 1.1 to the Zeds 3.5L. Be careful out there & have fun Spatt.
  2. Great news Carla. Good luck with the Christmas shopping now you've got transport again.
  3. And that's for sale for £9k? Obviously, the yellow one is hideous and is a crime against anyone with eye sight but the green one is a grower. Edit: that black one is very nice though I wish!!. Nobody said there was a price limit anyway. Green one hasn't grown on me (yet) sorry mouthwash but each to there own.
  4. Wow, some seriously nice Zeds there. Thanks for sharing.
  5. Did you have any luck getting it jump started then Carla?
  6. Your missing the part where you pull it out and it wipes oil all over your intake pipe....Grrr! I usually put one or two pieces of kitchen roll over it to protect it. Also I forgot to add that I have to use a work lamp just to see the hole where you stick the dipstick back in.
  7. Going from the hundreds of skid marks I guess they had to practice a lot to get it right for certain scenes in that video. Still very cool. Just why can't all Ford Fiesta's be made like that one?! I might actually consider buying one then (but only as a back up for the Zed of course).
  8. After the car has sat on level ground over night I read the oil level this way: pull the dipstick out first ~ wipe it clean ~ stick it back in & wait 10 seconds ~ then pull the dipstick out really, really, really slowly to get my reading. Pretty confident that works but occasionally have to repeat this procedure a few times just to be sure.
  9. Welcome alpha_channel ~ I've had my 350Z for awhile now and it is my daily driver. I live fairly close to where I work so my entire commute is made up of suburban streets so not even a chance to get above 30mph unfortunately. My average mpg each week is poor at around 17-19mpg currently but as I said this is done over only a few miles each week (maybe 50/60miles). I suspect that if you are mainly driving on dual carriageways & motorways daily then you will see reasonable mpg with sensible driving. eg: 60/70mph in 6th gear. I love my Zed and would highly recommend getting one if you can but obviously you must consider the higher running costs (which you are) but also the higher enjoy-ability factor. Put's a smile on my face every time I look at my Zed, let alone drive it.
  10. ^^ Also I very much doubt he'll get the asking price for that.
  11. Haven't you spotted the shift light yet then in the 350? Mine is set up at the factory setting for a DE engine still of 6600rpm as the one above.
  12. Now 82 injured and 8 seriously, Wish them all a speedy recovery. As with some of these disasters the news get's worse over time. Let's hope there's good news on the way as hopefully all will recover and they'll be no deaths.
  13. Sounds like me That's not going to get any better either at this time of year. Probably helps keep you warm though.
  14. Looks awesome but doubt that's practical on a daily driver. What with all the rubbish, stones etc on our roads. You'd be respraying the wings/doors every other week.
  15. Well I'm not changing the countdown clock I created for you. If you can sleep that is. Hope you enjoy it.
  16. What a legend. Fair play to him ~ 6500 miles on foot.
  17. Neither look that good to me for the money there asking. Would love a Supra but something more like this; 1000HP btw. http://www.germancarforum.com/community/threads/1-000hp-black-toyota-supra.49119/
  18. Very nice. Like the side profile too and the back end look's cool.
  19. Wouldn't say perfect imo. Don't get me wrong, lovely car, great spec etc but not a fan of cream/white leather. Get's dirty far too easily.
