Engine cover here in carbon fibre: http://www.jdmgarageuk.com/nissan-350z-carbon-engine-cover.html When I had my Zed I got my engine bay cover from Chris@Tarmac Sportz although I'm unsure if he can still get them. You could also try asking Adrian@Torqen as he can also get parts from America where there may or may not be more available. Worth a PM.

Fingers crossed for her Pete and I hope this is all behind you for the most part before Christmas. All the best Gareth.

Supercharged Type R to a 370z?
GMballistic replied to nub's topic in Introductions & Welcome Messages
I haven't owned a 370 hence why I didn't want to comment on them to in depth as my knowledge on them is nothing compared to the 350 as that's what I owned and put my time into learning about. I do think though that 350Bhp with bolt on mods and a remap should be achievable for the 370Z. I modified my 350Z as far as I could performance wise in N/A guise firstly which got me 294Bhp@fly, was a 2003 DE Zed so started around "276Bhp" when new but who knows what it was when I first got it. Then I took it to the next level which was going FI ~ I decided on a Vortech supercharger kit which netted me 436Bhp@fly so a healthy increase over my previous power levels. Obviously transformed the car and was fantastic. Info, pics & videos in my old build thread: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/91628-gmballistics-zed-supercharged-2003-gun-metal-gt-coupe-vids-added/ Some of your questions with regards to the "best" parts though will be personal choice as some parts may net similar or the same power/torque increases but just vary in style, looks or price especially when you're talking exhausts & air intakes. I'd try not to focus too much on the weight of the car as with regards to that in the 350 Zeds case I felt that it helped in making the car feel more planted on the road and inspired confidence in it's handling. -

So Nissan is Legendary. Suck it Dan. ;) -
Do you have the cradle then? Some info here in these threads: http://www.350z-uk.c...showtopic=12629 http://www.350z-uk.c...-phone-manuals/ Link to eBay/Bluetooth module for sale; http://www.ebay.co.u...=item4d4ee46351 Otherwise try zmanalex or Emperor Tuning. Good luck. Edit: AFAIK it doesn't need coding.

Supercharged Type R to a 370z?
GMballistic replied to nub's topic in Introductions & Welcome Messages
Been awhile since I've been on CTRO as I'm mostly on here, especially after selling my second Type R (FN2) and moving to the dark side (Audi ). Used to be on CTRO a lot though back in the day and it did have some great threads going on as well as some great members. This is why I never change my username across all the forums I've ever been on as it's great to come across old names/friends from the past. If you want a 370Z then tbh I think you'd be wasting your time to test drive a 350Z. Even if you drove the later 350Z with the VQ35HR engine in it that is still not a 370Z which has a different engine (VQ37VHR), different wheelbase, weight etc etc. It just won't drive the same or sound the same. Hopefully some 370 owners will answer some of your questions. Here is a thread which might interest you regarding the 370Z engine: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/75245-vq37vhr-maxengine-power/ Zeds for sale here: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/51-zeds-for-sale/ -

Umhhh, that's not so true nowadays I don't think with some of them. 2017 GTR bog standard before you add any extras is around £78,000+ 2016 Lexus LS Premier around £98,000+ 2016/17 Honda NSX around £130,000+ Either way owning a nice car is never cheap and no matter what you own someone will always be jealous of what you've got no matter how hard you actually did or didn't work for it. -
Rock_Steady just wondered does yours have the umbrella holder in the drivers door? Heard it's a super rare accessory to have on these when I was looking at them, ...although someone could of been winding me up but then a quick Google turns up this....

Great news Lee.

Brilliant. I don't mind him half the time but yes he can be very cringe inducing.

Fingers crossed the Ford continues to satisfy you. I totally get why you changed though and tbh life would be pretty boring if we all didn't try something new/different occasionally.

Saw a new game then you might like for Christmas.... That's the main thing though isn't is, ...as long as you're happy bud and enjoying your new ride.
-
It seems to be the "make up" of these type of shows though doesn't it, ....like on "Wheeler Dealers" with Mike Brewer and Ed China; one total bell*nd and one decent bloke, one guy goes shopping and the other guy does the hard mechanics. I think it's so if you don't like one of the onscreen guys you'll definitely like the other and if you don't like either then you'll still watch for the awesome cars they do.

Supercharged Type R to a 370z?
GMballistic replied to nub's topic in Introductions & Welcome Messages
Nice looking FN2 and welcome aboard. As said I think you really need to drive a Zed to see what you think. Personally I didn't rate my FN2 when I had it as much of a drivers car whereas my old 350Z I did, ...my FN2 was never supercharged though whereas my Zed was so that might make a difference. -

On my Sky box it says the 240Z is episode 4 of 10. So 6 more to go AFAIK.

Don't lie Coldel, ...I caught him on camera the other day Strudul honestly. Can't keep his hands (or mouth) off his GT4 I tell you. ;)

I'm still sticking to that routine we talked about TT although I've now altered it slightly as like I said to you before I want to concentrate more on my arms than anything else so hitting them twice a week now. Once on a Monday (biceps, shoulders, legs) and once on a Friday (biceps, triceps, lats) so hopefully there's enough time between the days for sufficient recovery & muscle building. With Wednesday being my back and chest day. Works out just over an hour plus 10 minutes odd for warming up each session. Checking back over the weights I was lifting earlier in the year there is a definite improvement in strength (weight lifted) across the board so I'm pleased.

Yeah you'd think but if I click to edit his post then all I get is URL picture box and not the tags. I can copy his tags and post as below.... ...but I do have other things to be doing. Can't be fixing all the issues members cause unfortunately as there just isn't enough time.
