  1. Jump starting is easy; Connect up the leads negative to negative then positive to positive (with both cars switched off). Then start the engine of the good car and leave it running for a few minutes (gently revving it occasionally). Then try to start the car with the flat battery ~ if it doesn't start then leave it awhile and try to start it again say 5 minutes later. Once the car with the flat battery has now started disconnect the negative from it and the other negative from the good car. Then disconnect the positive from the good car and the positive from the car that had the flat battery. Then you will need to ideally go for a long drive ~ maybe 20-30 minutes to get sufficient charge back in the battery. If the car with the flat battery fails to start doing this then I'd say the battery is dead and you will need a new battery. Hope that helps.
  2. Yes that is brilliant ~ can't believe I forgot about that one.
  3. If you're looking for a torch try "Heinnie Haynes" as they have some of the best at great prices.
  4. Had some gifts like that a few weeks ago grundy225 ~ well I say gifts, ...my bank statement wouldn't agree with that though. Can't believe you haven't unwrapped them though or are you waiting for Christmas day?!
  5. Not easy re-trimming a steering wheel at all. Look's like he's done a great job on that.
  6. Never seen that before. Don't know how he even rides his bike with balls that big.
  7. Ohh nightmare. Not what you want. Good luck getting it sorted.
  8. Merry Christmas team and thanks for the best car forum I've ever been on. It's a credit to it's designers, mod's and members.
  9. Merry Christmas CS and A Happy New Year.
  10. Look's good Brayster (apart from the pic of it on a low loader ). Glad you got it ok. Try a new trader on here called FunkyTyres if you need tyres as they have some good prices for forum members.
  11. Sure they didn't murder anyone but the driver has unlawfully killed his 2 passengers and these idiots are very likely to kill other people going about their business. I have Zero sympathy with them, they knew the risks, they paid the ultimate penalty. Pete Not starting an argument with you Pete but I'm sure you wouldn't be saying that if it was your own Son or Daughter that had died in this manner. I know I made some silly mistakes when I was younger and driving ~ sometimes people just don't think what can happen (especially when there young) when they push the limits of the cars there driving & there abilities.
  12. No problem HARMLU, ...just thought I'd give people a heads up in case they hadn't heard how good it was. Here if you want any & more info; http://www.cleanyour...s/prod_881.html
  13. Sure rainex works good too but this Gtechniq stuff is on another level in comparison (imho). Expensive for the small bottles that you get in the kit but it is more than enough to do all the glass on our Zeds & that's with 3 coats on the windscreen too. Put some on my windows around 2+ months ago now and it's still just as good today.
  14. Definitely agree with this statement. Silly imo to say these people got what they deserved as they where only racing there car's (stupid yes & dangerous yes) ~ but not raping & murdering others or something.
  15. ^^ Will there be any left by Christmas day is the pressing issue though.
  16. It is really bad in places I've heard. Lot's of localized flooding around here too. On another note ~ have you tried this stuff called GTechniq G1 Clear Vision smart glass grundy225?; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/74568-g1-clear-vision-smart-glass/ I've found it make's a massive difference in the rain, last for age's and I couldn't recommend it enough.
  17. Is there a forum "group buy" available for these glrnet? ...and what's the delivery cost's?
  18. Sad news. Thoughts are with the victims families.
  19. Good news 350Ad. Never nice seeing that darn light pop up.
