  1. Great news that you got it sorted Cam ~ always good when members update these threads too. As you're sorted for what you wanted I'll lock this.
  2. Just a word of caution RE: the rusty rear wheel arch. I have copied & pasted my reply from another thread on the same subject... Source: http://www.350z-uk.c...-advice-needed/ I'm just warning you m4nn13 as what looks like an easy, fairly cheap fix might not be so straight forward. I have heard of other members buying a new rear quarter to fix the problem which obviously is very expensive to sort. Good luck with your Zed hunt, plenty to choose from so just take your time.
  3. Totally agree. Plus you have to remember nub that 350Bhp on one companies dyno maybe 325Bhp on another companies dyno, ....or my car with 300Bhp tested on a company dyno one day maybe 315Bhp on the same dyno the very next day (so many variables). Also as proven countless times on here just because one persons Zed made X amount of Bhp with certain mods doesn't mean that another Zed albeit of the same year/age/mileage etc will make the same Bhp figure with the exact same mods. For example my 2003 350Z with a Vortech supercharger set up made 436Bhp@fly but similar modded Zeds have made plus or minus of 20-30Bhp. Just take a look at the "Official list of UK FI Zeds" here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/66265-official-list-of-uk-fi-zeds/page__st__140 Or the "Dyno Results Info Thread" here to see what I mean: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/23450-dyno-results-info-thread/ I totally get though why you're trying to research this as best you can for when/if you start modding a 370Z but certain things like the exhaust systems are governed a lot on here more by what it looks like, how much it costs and the sound it makes more than how much extra Bhp/torque it will give you as the difference in that respect on an N/a engine is so small it really won't make a lot of difference on the road/track. Hence why JP mentions it's only good for "pub figures". Better tyres, brakes, suspension components and some professional driver training will easily make you a faster driver than a few extra Bhp from one exhaust system over another. All imho.
  4. It's difficult to tell whether it's a genuine Milltek or not from that picture alone as just recently I was talking with another 350Z member who was having problems with his Milltek as the exhaust tips had started to rattle, ...his solution was to remove the inner part which worked and would leave his Milltek looking like the one you have pictured. Thread here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/109907-milltek-exhaust-tip-baffles/
  5. Unfortunately though I think either one of us would need a Euro Millions jackpot win before we'd be able to buy and run any of those cars.
  6. Just caught up with this. Think the seats look spot on, ...not too OTT.
  7. Liked that cheers BBK. Mclaren F1 is my favourite.
  8. I get why people say that sort of thing as any performance car will obviously use more fuel than your average family hatchback or similar.
  9. Cheers for the link valy. Just had a good read of that although I'm sure they're not the only manufacturers guilty of that. Not using anything like that at the moment anyway but food for thought if I do go to buy any in the future.
  10. No I love milk too and can drink loads of it flavoured or not, ...I'm finicky because I'm a fussy eater. In the past I've had vanilla, strawberry, banana and chocolate flavoured protein shakes from several different manufacturers. Some of which tasted vile so after trying loads over the years I eventually settled on the Arnold Schwarzenegger whey protein shakes as for me I liked the taste best. Each to their own though.
  11. Same here. Mix it with milk or water, add some creatine, maltodextrin or whatever else you want, and just neck it. Who cares what it tastes like, its not like your spending hours drinking it. When you're spending upwards of £50-£60 a month on it or more then there is no reason why it has to taste like a glass of sick. Cardiff Sports Nutrition is my local go to place for this type of stuff and they're great as they were more than happy to let me try samples in their shop of lots of different shakes etc. Some tasted vile and others were incredibly nice, ...with the vile ones doing the same job as the nice tasting ones I'd be mad not to go with the ones that tasted nice to me.
  12. Have to laugh at some peoples cheek, ...I mean you're selling a car at £12.5K and they offer £8.5K! Everybody loves a trier but that's taking the pi**. Oh well I think you should really go test drive one asap. That'll help you make up your mind.
  13. Usually tbh I'd probably say people were mad spending over £300 on an induction kit but when it comes to the Gruppe M or even the Tegiwa M for that matter it's a different story. Worth every penny. Any interested buyers yet for the Type R? Sometimes can take a while with selling a modified car. Buyers may mistake a modified car for an abused car (redlined everywhere) which is often not the case, ....exact opposite a lot of the time.
  14. Just an idea but have you thought of asking "racepartsforsale" on here as he gets stuff from Japan? Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/231-race-parts-for-sale/ You never know he might be able to help source some of the parts for you. Good luck.
  15. I've used various stuff in the past but then started using Arnold Schwarzeneggers whey protein as I found it tasted the best. Was sick of forcing myself to drink these shakes that just tasted like ready mix concrete mixed with cat sick. Just using Creatine nowadays though and trying to eat sensibly.
  16. Great selection of cars there. Like that white Maserati a lot.
  17. £5K is a more realistic budget yes imo but still you're looking at the lower budget Zeds. Just make sure you check its service history to make sure it has been as well looked after as possible. They're older cars now so things will inevitably go wrong but if looked after then higher mileage examples shouldn't be a problem necessarily. Service schedule here: http://www.350z-uk.c...ule-for-a-350z/ 350Z buyers guide video & more here: http://www.350z-uk.c...rs-guide-fixes/ Welcome aboard.
  18. Quick copy & paste from a reply I wrote to another member.... There are various reasons why your front windscreen washers wouldn't work: Fuse gone (in which case your rear wouldn't work either as it's a shared fuse AFAIK). Washer motor pump gone (most likely in your case as you say you cannot hear the motor anymore). Blocked or disconnected pipe (if it's blocked you'd still hear the motor/disconnected then you'd see a puddle of screen wash eventually appear under the car). Blocked return valve (usually still get a dribble from the washer jets) or simply no screen wash in the reservoir (you've already checked that & topped up). There are separate washer motor pumps for the front & rear windscreens fyi. The pumps are both fixed to the washer reservoir located on the drivers side in the lower bumper section just in front of the wheel/tyre behind the wheel arch liner. If you cannot hear the motor running then it is most likely the pump motor has died imo. I went through 1 front windscreen washer pump motor & two rear ones during my Zed ownership (fairly common especially as the 350's get older). It's a fairly simple job to replace them although it can get a little messy if you've a full reservoir of screen wash. More info Soapster in these threads including links to other threads on the same subject, pump part numbers/prices and causes... http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/112174-screen-wash-not-working/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/103676-washers/ Hope that helps.
  19. That's a crazy weight loss G. I know things have been tough on you though this year so hopefully you're on the up now.
