  1. Back a long time ago I used to work as a Data Entry Clerk for a large gas firm based in Britain, ...it was mind numbing work, with targets to reach that constantly put pressure on you to perform quickly but without ruining your quality level. After several years I was done and the day I quit & just walked out was fantastic. Literally didn't even know I was going to do it, went into work, got stressed and pi**ed off in the morning & just quit. Has led me on to better things and happier employment in every job since.

    W Brace

For brand new OEM you could try: Torqen, Clark Motorsport and The Cougar Store as I know all of them can supply new OEM equipment. For used OEM you could try zmanalex or Emperor Tuning to see if they have any in stock. If you fancy going aftermarket which a lot of people tend to do especially as it's a cheaper alternative to the OEM version & does the same job you could get the "Ultra Racing W brace". Like this one here on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ULTRA-RACING-4-Point-Rear-Lower-Bar-Brace-for-Nissan-FAIRLADY-Z33-350z-RL4-1259-/172423574246?hash=item28253ef2e6:g:6AUAAOSwj85YOvbi Bolts for it, ...well any of the above traders on here should be able to help, otherwise any local hardware shop should have what you need providing they are high tensile bolts of the same size & length (stainless steel would be best imo). Good luck.
  3. Welcome aboard. If you can go for the HR it is slightly more powerful than the earlier DE variants and has an updated interior/exterior lights & bonnet. The DE's are still reliable though if well maintained and easily go above 100K miles no problems. If you're into modifying your car engines for performance then you may want to think about getting the DE as certain things are cheaper for the DE and easier to do on than the HR. Supercharging for example. Buyers guide video (& some fixes) here: http://www.350z-uk.c...rs-guide-fixes/ Guide for new members/potential buyers here: http://www.350z-uk.c...tential-buyers/ Another buyers guide here: http://www.350z-uk.c...6-buyers-guide/ 350Z service schedule here: http://www.350z-uk.c...ule-for-a-350z/ Zeds for sale on the forum here: http://www.350z-uk.c...-zeds-for-sale/ If you do have any questions it's always worth searching the forum ~ but do this using Google as you will net a lot more results. Your search should be done like this: "350Z UK _ _ _ _ _ _?", followed by your query.
  4. Don't get me wrong Stevo because I agree with you as in, it's a film so just enjoy it for what it is but if you were to pick at it for being unrealistic it's not just the time scales of races etc is it?
  5. What's best is to replace the damaged/broken/faulty CAT but it's up to you how you do it. Is the rest of your exhaust system standard? What's the condition like & do you ever intend to change it for a s/s exhaust system? As I like modifying my cars I would take this as the perfect excuse to upgrade to some HFC's and possibly do the full exhaust system whilst I was at it. Obviously that would depend though on funds available and whether or not you want to keep the car for a good while or even want to modify it at all. If you were/are perfectly happy with how it is/was then Dan's suggestion will be by far the cheapest easiest option with zmanalex or Emperor Tuning on here probably being able to help you out with some used OEM Cats. The sensors may or may not need replacing and I'd probably replace the Cats first so that I could see afterwards what the sensors are doing. E.g. Whether they throw up a fault code.
  6. These films were utter BS from the start, ...sorry I've said it F&F fans. Take one of the first races in the film for instance: the racers were all accelerating in their cars for approximately 1 minute 15 seconds before you see Paul Walkers speedometer which reads 120mph, which then goes up to 140mph+ as the NOS is applied, ...so a tuned Mitsubishi Eclipse running NOS takes over a minute to get to 120mph on a flat straight road? Of course not. It's a film so it's bound to be unrealistic at times if not the entire way through and although there may be a few glimpses of realism with regards to modifications that's it. Don't get me wrong I've enjoyed watching the F&F series of films but I've never once pretended that they are realistic in any shape or form.
  7. Bit cheeky imo about those "BLOX Racing CEL Check Engine Light Eliminator Adapters" as they don't always work. I had Berks De-Cats on my Zed which come with built in CEL eliminator adapters and this is what their blurb says.... It didn't really matter to me as I had my Zed remapped as it was all done when I had my supercharger build finished but still worth noting that the CEL spacers don't always work. Hopefully if you go for it you'll be fine.
  8. Welcome aboard. This guide might give you a little insight: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/110679-youtube-350z-buyers-guide-fixes/
  9. You mean these don't work.... Sorry about that Andy. I guess I fell for the marketing blurb.
  10. You found it quicker than me, ...think I was on here maybe a year & a half before I found it or someone else pointed it out.
  11. Couldn't have someone spamming more than me At least you speak sense for the most part and don't try to flog us all viagra or whatever.
  12. Yep he was and I got the other spammer. Cheers Strudul.
  13. See I'm the same. Haven't worn my watch in years especially nowadays with the time available on my phone. My watch is a Camel Trophy watch which is fairly collectable as they stopped making them over a decade ago. At £90 odd when I bought it (usually were £150rrp) I know it's not in the same league as "Rolex", "Tag" watches etc but it does the same thing and is the most expensive watch I've bought. Flex there is a "Luxury watches" thread here in case you were interested: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/102225-luxury-watches/
  14. I concur. That's just silly.
  15. Don't blame you. I always wanted the Zed in black, ...unfortunately I just missed out on a black one when I was looking and decided on a Gun Metal one in the end (got impatient). Always thought the black ones look the best though really.
  16. Moved to the more appropriate area. Please don't make anymore on the same topic thanks. Good luck.
  17. Like the look of that for a convertible. Very nice.
  18. There's always the possibility it's a foreign body. Might go hassle a Nissan dealer or specialist. Surely someone has worked on these cars enough to have inadvertently memorised all the parts. Some of the Zed Shed crew or zmanalex maybe worth a try in that respect.
  19. Don't worry Nic I had a 350 and still have no idea what that part is.
  20. That part did not register Might not be of as much help as I'd hoped, but there might still be some similarity Good luck with that then.
  21. Strudul you do know Nic has a 370Z don't you?
