  1. ^^ I could have predicted that one. "Stop" sign clearly visible and the R35 driver going clearly too fast to be able to stop in time, if he was trying to stop at all. I think nowadays there are a lot of drivers who would benefit from "Emergency Braking" and "Autopilot" systems in order to make the roads safer for the rest of us to use. I wouldn't want it on my car though.
  2. Isn't that always the way for us petrolheads with cars though.
  3. Brad was last on here yesterday so not sure what he's doing. I will see if I can get him to respond although I can only PM him the same as you can.
  4. Thought you'd know Baidan that Photobucket is the best way to put pictures on the forum otherwise you will have upload size limit problems. Guide here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/103472-how-to-add-your-photos-to-the-forum/ Do you plan on doing anything to the BM then or is it staying stock?
  5. Welcome aboard Kev. Buyers guide here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/110679-youtube-350z-buyers-guide-fixes/
  6. Have to be honest I didn't notice it was on your front wing as it's most common on the rear wings/inner arch which is where mine went. A new wing would be the best option but obviously the most expensive as well with a paint match being needed too. I wouldn't say inevitable but it is very common especially with the Zeds getting older now. Tbh I can't think of any steps that you could take to prevent it unless your Zed is a JDM which in some cases aren't undersealed. Making sure you clean the inside of the rear arches often to clean out any stuck mud etc which may hold moisture against the inside of the arch would be a good idea I'd say for one. Just an idea.
  7. It's all on here if you have any problems or issues. Generally I found the Zed to be a very reliable car when I had mine (even with a higher mileage supercharged Zed) providing they are looked after. Make sure you check your oil level regularly but that's a common sense thing to do imo with any car (as a fellow petrol head though I'm sure you already know that ). Service schedule here if you haven't seen it: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/31110-service-schedule-for-a-350z/
  8. Tbf though that Porsche could be turd brown with pink polka dot coloured calipers and it'd still look amazing.
  9. Just make sure that when you take your pictures that you have a piece of paper with your username on it next to the alloys. Have a good read of the rules for sales and you'll have no issues posting them for sale on here. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/213-350z-parts-for-sale/
  10. I dunno, what's $10,500 in GBP these days? £20k? £8500 odd at todays rates.
  11. For example Strudul. Everyone has their own opinion though on what looks good and what doesn't.
  12. I did notice the Michelins, ...great choice of tyre and by all accounts the best tyre around for the Zeds.
  13. Thought a car like that would be a lot more money than that Mike. Love it.
  14. I'll have to partly disagree with you there as I've seen plenty of cars which weren't Lambos sporting green calipers that didn't look tacky, ...some Mercedes, Porsche, and a Nissan (R35) GTR just to name a few. It all depends on the cars colour I'd say to how good it'll look although I'd imagine the type of car & size of caliper does have some baring on it.
  15. Black goes nicely with orange but then it wouldn't stand out with the blue. Aashenfox definitely needs to add some input I think though when he's back online. He might like my green idea.
  16. With these cars having a staggered wheel set up I think they definitely suit concave wheel designs very well. Almost helping to highlight the rear tyres being wider than the fronts even more which I love.
  17. I think it would go well with the Mariana Blue he wants to get the car wrapped in, ...although it doesn't look that bad with the Sunset Orange from your pic. Wouldn't be my choice with the Orange though.
  18. That sounds about the same as I paid near enough to have mine done when I had my Zed but be warned the rust can come back. Story pasted below from another thread rather than re-type it all again... Source: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/106817-rust-woes-advice-needed/ It's a very common area for the 350 Zed to get rust and can be a PITA to sort unfortunately but not impossible. Good luck.
  19. Green?! I've always had a thing for green, especially Kawasaki Green (not that I've ever owned a motorbike).
  20. They do look great. I do like how the rear alloy is concave on those type of alloys.
  21. Looking forward to seeing how much detailing you add to the tank and how the weathering looks.
  22. I have fond memories of TVR's Ian as my old man has had a few including the Chimaera (4.5Ltr). Hope you enjoy it. Post edited as you don't meet the FS criteria but there's always Autotrader, eBay, Gumtree etc etc.
  23. Welcome aboard. Used to own a classic Impreza myself, ...mine was a my96 JDM WRX. Cost me a bl**dy fortune in mods and keeping it running so tbh I was glad to see the back of it. Enjoy your Zed and do share some pictures of your cars when you get a chance.
