  1. Excellent. Can't wait to see how it looks once you've fitted it.
  2. Exactly that. Hope you get the parts you're after.
  3. So basically you need help with committing fraud? Locked sorry Op.
  4. ^^ That's what I was thinking the OP was on about.
  5. Push through the pain as they say, it'll be worth it in the end. Colour choice sounds good.
  6. You having fun doing all this then Ricky? Seems like you're enjoying it. Any idea on what colour you're going for then?
  7. A 2008 Audi S3 Jon, ...fast & grips round corners like it's on rails but a little dull at times. Arhh sorry I couldn't help. Maybe try zmanalex if Jon can't help. Good luck.
  8. Looking at it I think it does so not what you're after, ....although could be modified possibly but the cost might start to be more than just buying the pipe work & filter we were talking about especially as Ekona mentions you will want to swap the blue filter out for a decent branded one.
  9. Post a link of the item if you can Ricky. Sure the OP would appreciate it.
  10. I haven't got my Zed anymore so I can't check but I know for the undertray fixings they are just "U-clips" AKA "speed clips" etc. Like these below... Is that what you're after? Plenty on eBay if so: http://www.ebay.co.uk/bhp/speed-clips Any good?
  11. Paul I have approved this and moved this here. If you were selling it in parts it would have needed to go in the "Zeds Breaking" sub section but as this is more or less a complete Zed I felt this was the best place for it. You may want to contact Jon@Emperor Parts to see if he's interested as he was advertising that he wanted Zeds to break. GLWTS.
  12. If you're interested please see Nso93's new thread here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/113701-jdm-combe/ Thread locked as to stop confusion.
  13. The aluminium hose joiner I used from the filter to the 90 degree was a 100mm long and I used another 100mm one cut down to 70mm like in the guide I linked in post n#3 for my other joiner. Like these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/100mm-4-Inch-Long-Alloy-Hoses-Joiners-Aluminium-Connectors-Rubber-Silicone-/190897292792?var=&hash=item72212d30b8 Regarding the lengths on the straight silicone hose you could always buy a metre length and that way you can just cut to length. It is going to need a bit of trial fitting with regards to the lengths to see what works for you. As far as hose diameters go I'd make sure you're happy with the I/D or O/D before you go ordering loads of it as it will be a pita to return or exchange. The air filter I used was a K&N model n#RX4140 as you want a good size filter but not something so big that it won't fit behind the bumper. Filter here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/K-N-RX-4140-Air-Filter-Universal-X-Stream-Clamp-on-K-and-N-Part-/181652155126?hash=item2a4b4feaf6:g:5ucAAOSwNyFWhCZy Hope that helps some.
  14. Yeah I like that one too. Doesn't matter what car you drive though I'm sure that would annoy most motorists.
  15. Yeah underneath the Z tube is a smaller pipe. What do you mean "where did you get the other intake kit from?"? ....Do you mean the one I pictured? If so that's the one I put together myself for my supercharged Zed. It is made entirely from Ash silicone hose and aluminium hose joiners with a K&N air filter.
  16. Varley are you planning on going from the throttle body then? Imho I think that's unnecessary as the Zed already has a good intake tube there which a lot of G35 owners buy as it is better than what is on the G35 (look at Z tube mod). Personally I'd be looking at going from the MAF onwards. That way all you'll need is a MAF top hat adapter, followed by a straight silicone hose, aluminium hose joiner, then a 90 degree bend hose, aluminium hose joiner & filter. Will look something similar to this then... What do you think?
  17. Yep I can understand what you're saying. My supercharged Zed made 436Bhp on Horshams dyno and that was on a stock engine so yours is only got around 16Bhp on what mine had and that's with yours having a built motor. If you're chasing numbers have you changed your exhaust manifolds? I'm guessing you would have. What about your cams? Did you get those changed when you had the motor built? Horsham posted just the other week of a DE engine rebuild they did with HKS cams which gave great results: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/113640-350z-de-engine-build/ Sorry not on the supercharger I know, just spit balling ideas. If you have a look here you're definitely making good power though compared with a lot of the other FI'd Zeds on here (past & present): http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/66265-official-list-of-uk-fi-zeds/page__st__140 Maybe worth having a conversation with Adrian from Torqen to see if he can find out any information for you from Vortech as he deals with them. Unfortunately I don't know anything about changing the Vortech impellers for increased performance although I am aware of it (from my Subaru Turbo days).
  18. Gotcha. Let us know if you do find something new though. Those G35's can look pretty cool.
