  1. Varley just spotted this for sale if you did want to change your Z tube: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/113790-for-sale-metal-air-intake-pipe-fits-350z/
  2. Awesome Graham. That red really is stunning.
  3. I know Veeg33 fitted DRL's and did the wiring himself. Have a read of post n#121 in his build thread to see if that helps. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/91440-veeg33s-slow-dose-of-zeditus/page__st__120 Otherwise maybe send him a PM as he's a decent guy so sure he'll help if he can.
  4. It's worth signing up to ASN (Audi Sport Net) Bandit to see what info is on there as I know they have a TT/TTRS section. Link: http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/
  5. Wishing Caroline all the best Pete.
  6. Please no. I'm sure they're both quite tasty really. ;)
  7. Welcome aboard. Nice looking Beemer, ...330Ci or some other 3 series model?
  8. Personally I would just get the OEM one for the Zed. Getting a magnetic sump plug though is definitely a good idea as Sargara mentions, ...just make sure if you do get one that it's got a powerful magnet otherwise that's a waste of time.
  9. Moved your thread here as it's probably more appropriate considering you're just after more info. Don't recognise the car as an ex-members but you never know. Good luck with your Zed hunt.
  10. Welcome aboard Andy. Don't forget to have a look at the Zeds for sale on here: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/51-zeds-for-sale/ Good luck with your Zed hunt.
  11. Yes Thank you sir, you answered what others couldnt on the net.... Im gonna now send you a "Haggis" and "Black Pudding" for your time Shouldn't you be thanking him? ...and not punishing him!
  12. Try giving Ewen at Clark Motorsports a ring as I'm sure he'll sort you out. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/207-clark-motorsport/ Thread moved.
  13. I agree with your not worth the hassle point but not about them being illegal. They can be made legal: http://trafficlawadv...mberplates.html http://www.number1pl...-number-plates/ I still wouldnt fit them regardless mind! Yes you're right I didn't realise that you can get them with reflective backgrounds nowadays as Jetpilot corrected me just after my post. I agree with you as I wouldn't fit them on a Zed, ...tbh they're more of a German scene fad like on the BM's, VW's etc although I won't be getting them on my Audi. Just not worth the hassle.
  14. It's an idiotic thing to do imho. Carry on and do it if you do get into a crash but I'd rather not especially as these things do "occasionally" fail... Safest thing to do is fold your arms and hold your shoulder harnesses imo.
  15. That does look awesome. @ 0:39 seconds in ~ I cringe though every time I see someone roll a vehicle over and they put their hand/arm up towards the roof! I mean do they think they're going to stop the roof caving in with over a tons worth of vehicle pushing down on it?!. Just fold your arms and hope the roll cage holds up.
  16. I'll stop you right there because AFAIK they're illegal. The reason is because they're made of a non reflective material. The only exception to the rule is classic cars made before a certain year that came with metal pressed plates as standard in that specific year. From the Government website... Source: https://www.gov.uk/displaying-number-plates/rules-number-plates I know all these sites say they are legal with correct spacing etc etc but it's BS as if you get stopped by the Police they can and will fine you for having non-conforming registration plates. E.g: Made from a non-reflective material. Below from someone who has learnt that the hard way... Source: http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/general-discussion/113434-warning-pressed-metal-plates.html Not worth the hassle.
  17. Yes AFAIK. See Alexs post above for a replacement should you need it.
  18. That is very cool. Moved your video to here fyi Nic.
  19. You can fit 4 tyres/alloys in a Zed but it is a squeeze with possibly a cable tie or similar needed to secure the boot down. From what I here just put two on the passenger seat and two in the boot. Or you could take some advice from Aliveboy who got 9 tyres in/on his Zed ~ Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/75760-how-many-tyres-can-you-fit-in-a-350z/
  20. Sorry to see that Tom but it can happen to the best of us, ...main thing is you're alright and nobody else hurt. Looks like Alex is got most of what you need as well.
