I'm not sure removing the BOV will definitely give you turbo flutter sound you want but it's worth a try. Be interested to know how it sounds afterwards. Turbo flutter is basically compressor surge. I wanted my old WRX to sound like the rally cars it emulated but I was advised against it at the time when modifying it. Definitely interested to see how you get on with doing that.

Okay, honestly you could be taking a risk that you'll not pass the MOT emissions test with any HFC's (imho). I'm just telling you that so that you're going into buying the HFC's with your eyes wide open. I mean I passed the MOT emissions test no problem with my old 03' Zed running Berks HFC's and an Invidia Gemini exhaust system but I have heard of others with the same set up not passing. I think if you do have HFC's it is imperative that you get them nice and hot before MOT with a good long drive. I did that with mine and never had an issue. I can't really recommend you anything as I never had any other HFC's except the Berks so that's what my experience was with. Good luck.

Welcome aboard. Always run the Zed on Super Unleaded and check your oil regularly, ...pretty much the same as any performance car. Any issues just have a look on here as there's pretty much nothing that hasn't been discussed on here already regarding the Zeds.

Sorry to see this has happened Joe. Tbh I think as a non runner you're going to find it a tough sell especially with some high mileage runners selling as cheap as £2K - £3K. Firstly I'd strip off anything that is easily removable and/or replaceable with an OEM part that you may still have. Then sell those items on here. Secondly you might want to contact Jon@Emperor Tuning or zmanalex on here to see if either of them is interested in buying the complete shell off you. Good luck.

Ahh that's good news then. Engines sitting idle and then being rebuilt after sometime will always be questionable to how they'll run but fingers crossed all will go well.
