Masking off an emblem maybe difficult but a lot easier to deal with then the mess you're in now. *sorry* I'm good at masking though from years of model making, painting and also working as a Rapid Prototyping Technician for almost 5 years where we prototyped parts for companies which involved a lot of painting & masking at times. Maybe hit zmanalex or Jon@Emperor Tuning with a PM to see if they have any bumpers in stock the same colour.

DE's maybe 300+ odd with basic mods. Engine rebuilds, new manifolds, different cams etc though may yield more but then that's similar money to charging. Varies between cars though but my old 2003 GT coupe got 294Bhp@fly with a H.Dev plenum spacer, Stillen induction kit, Berks HFC's and an Invidia Gemini exhaust system. Others have broken the 300 barrier though. Welcome aboard Ben.

Personally I would have removed the items and if that wasn't possible then I would of masked off the entire area. As already stated though I think the only resolution for this is a respray unfortunately. Lesson learnt I'm sure and I can only imagine how gutting this is for you Strudul. No idea on any possible underlying issues sorry but if you only bought the alternator around 8 months ago you should imagine be able to return it as faulty for a refund or exchange item. Hopefully someone might be able to suggest some ideas as to whether there is an underlying fault first though as you're wondering.

Not a lot tbh. It's a fast car and grips like mad round every corner so inspires spirited driving. I did make a list when I first got it (plans on how to get it over 400Bhp) and even inquired with Adrian about importing some parts from the US but tbh I'm not sure it's a car I really want to modify unfortunately. Few reasons why but mainly the sound from the engine & exhaust if I'm honest. I think the next car I get has to have more cylinders and possibly even be a RWD again like the Zed.

Fantastic films, ...wouldn't say they were all amazing but the follow on films were still good unlike some series of films. Used to have an "Alien" computer game that was very cool but can't remember what console or computer it was on, ...I'm leaning more towards it being a PC game as I seem to remember it being like a platform type affair with pretty poor graphics. Literally just come to me now ~ the game was on the Mega Drive.
