  1. BigPoch not a solution to your problem but I wrote a guide about doing a chip repair on your windscreen if it's any help for you fixing the chips you do have and hopefully stopping them from possibly turning into cracks. 2. Yes I heard this terrible news the other day. Such a great actor and not a great age to go really. Very sad. RIP.

  5. If you're getting a new exhaust system and HFC's they will be stainless steel surely won't they?! The HFC's definitely will be and unless you're getting an OEM exhaust system then most aftermarket exhaust systems are stainless steel or better so you won't need to worry about corrosion on those. If you mean the standard exhaust manifolds then I really wouldn't worry about corrosion on those either and if you are seriously thinking of wrapping them then the amount of money it will cost to get to them done would be ridiculous. You'd be better off replacing the OEM manifolds with some aftermarket ones if you're seriously going to the hassle of having the old ones removed for wrapping.
  6. For a temporary fix then as you say Kurust followed by touch up paint on top is what I'd do.
  7. Cool. I actually might start watching Top Gear again now that Chris Evans has gone, ...I'm sure they missed me adding to their viewing figures.
  8. I just assumed "TOOTY" was post boosting in order to try & sell something on here within the next few days. Guess I can stop checking their content now.
  9. If it truly is purple then Dan is it a decent colour purple like Cadburys?
  10. I couldn't possibly guess that then, ...unless Michelin MPSS have a specific brand colour?! Oh well I'll just wait for the pics.
  11. Look forward to that JP. My guess is some sort of blue colour, ...am I close?
  12. Personally I'd remove the non-return valve from the equation all together. It really isn't needed and my windscreen washers were a lot more powerful after I removed mine replacing it with a straight through piece of pipe. Try that first would be my advice.
  13. Only 3hrs late to the party but still in for the fun.
  14. RIP Daveys car parking space. 2015-2017
  15. Your best bet is to go on Autotrader and Pistonheads to compare like for like cars. Very easy to do especially on Autotrader, ...if you're registered with Autotrader you can also ask them for a valuation. Good luck.
  16. Masking off an emblem maybe difficult but a lot easier to deal with then the mess you're in now. *sorry* I'm good at masking though from years of model making, painting and also working as a Rapid Prototyping Technician for almost 5 years where we prototyped parts for companies which involved a lot of painting & masking at times. Maybe hit zmanalex or Jon@Emperor Tuning with a PM to see if they have any bumpers in stock the same colour.
  17. DE's maybe 300+ odd with basic mods. Engine rebuilds, new manifolds, different cams etc though may yield more but then that's similar money to charging. Varies between cars though but my old 2003 GT coupe got 294Bhp@fly with a H.Dev plenum spacer, Stillen induction kit, Berks HFC's and an Invidia Gemini exhaust system. Others have broken the 300 barrier though. Welcome aboard Ben.
  18. Personally I would have removed the items and if that wasn't possible then I would of masked off the entire area. As already stated though I think the only resolution for this is a respray unfortunately. Lesson learnt I'm sure and I can only imagine how gutting this is for you Strudul. Wish you all the best in rectifying the problem.
