  1. I know what he means Hudders. @SlickRick ~ they don't have the spacers for the O2 sensors but you can buy them cheaply anyway. £12 each from Clark Motorsports last I knew.
  2. Kinda, but mainly just fantasising about my dream world. Of course you are right, but the same is true even if you aren't speeding. Best driver, best reactions, best car, you can have an accident at 5 mph due to some idiot. Doesn't mean we should penalise everyone and enforce low speed limits though Completely agree with you again but, ...this is how Britain is unfortunately. Some idiot does something, the papers go mental over it, petitions launched etc, eventually gets discussed by some over paid individuals who have no idea about the real world and suddenly it's the law of the land. Bit more to it than that but you get the gist. Just look at the handgun laws which came into force in 1996 after the appalling Dunblane massacre. Started because some nutcase went and shot a load of kids. Doesn't mean every handgun owner in the UK would do that but still the majority lost out because of his actions.
  3. But if you have performance brakes, you can stop faster than someone without them. If you are a better driver, you also have more chance of being able to manoeuvre out of danger and recover control of the car. Hence the requirement for yourself and your car to meet the criteria. Not sure if serious and really arguing the point? Some accidents cannot be avoided no matter how good you are behind the wheel or what sort of performance car or car parts you have. Trust me on that it's from experience, ...I've been driving longer than you've been alive.
  4. That post was your 666, ....surely a sign not to get a sporty jeep. Sad to see you're Zedless but times change. Good luck with your decision on what to get next.
  5. That'd all be very well though until some other numpty pulled out on you or cut you up etc. Doesn't matter if you're Ayrton Senna or some other top notch driver there will always be other people on the roads who aren't as capable or aware who will cause accidents.
  6. Definitely agree with you on the dangers of people staring at their speedometers. My old comprehensive school has a speed camera outside it and every time I've driven past it in the opposite direction I see people's eye's looking down at their speedometers. A few metres up from the speed camera is a pedestrian crossing so it doesn't take a genius to realise that if the drivers are looking at their speedometers instead of the road it's only a matter of time till a child/adult is knocked down on that crossing or another car will be rear ended.
  7. its only a @*!# law if you get caught We'll all be getting caught going from this sentence in the article... Speedometer variations alone would get a lot of us caught.
  8. Locking this thread down Hassan as you already have a thread running with the Stillen induction kit advertised there.
  9. My Zed was bog standard when I first bought it and by the end of my ownership it was pushing 436Bhp@fly after being supercharged. Build thread here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/91628-gmballistics-zed-supercharged-2003-gun-metal-gt-coupe-vids-added/ I have to say I was initially happy with the power of my Zed but then quickly got bored and used to it so craved more. The day I picked up my supercharged Zed from Horsham Developments was one of the best and most exciting. The power and delivery of that power was completely addictive. I actually parted ways with my Zed due to buying a house in 2015 with my Mrs but I miss the car everyday still. Literally nothing has come close to the sound and enjoyment of my old Zed. All I would say TMPL that just like Jetpilot mentioned if you could the more sensible option is to buy an already supercharged Zed. The money you will save this way could be used for servicing, petrol and insurance then for at least a year or two. There is one for sale currently on here but imho it is a little overpriced especially as it needs work doing to it (new front wings/rust repair). Keep an eye out though as they do pop up occasionally.
  10. Yep they've got it wrong. Everything I've been reading about this car on and off today has stated a 0-62 time of 2.8 seconds, reaching 124mph in 7.8 seconds. Still extremely quick but yeah not as quick as "carbuzz" have stated. Nice video here...
  11. Over an F1?? Where do I mention picking it over any other vehicle? Nobody said you could have one but not the other and I'm sure if I had won the Euro Millions jackpot (for example £51 million on one draw) then I could afford to have more than just one McLaren or other supercars. Yes that is true but all I said was "When you listen to the chief designer and to why it looks like it does it all makes sense." In other words he tells you why they have decided to design the light sockets like they have and why the doors/body work are shaped like that, ...in order to help with cooling (double skinned doors), reduce drag (part of the aerodynamics) etc etc. Which all makes sense to me. His explanation of why the car looks like it does had nothing to do with why I like it. If I'm alone on liking this car (bar Adrian ) then I'm happy with that because I'd never want to chose anything in life just because others think it's cool or necessary to do so.
  12. Tbh I like it. When you listen to the chief designer and to why it looks like it does it all makes sense. I'm never going to be able to buy one unless of course I win the Euro Millions but I'd definitely choose that McLaren for my millionaires garage if I could.
  13. Someone got an awesome bit of kit, ...let us know when you've been paid and you're happy so we can lock this down.
  14. I think that new Honda Civic Type R looks really good. The lines follow the flow of the body and give the car an aggressive racing pedigree look. The designers have done a great job of, ....*chuckles* ...no I can't do it. This car is a f***in' mess and even the performance is gash. I mean come on my 08' S3 would beat this thing in a drag race and look better doing it. What have Honda done!
  15. So much promise from the thread title... Fantastic engine though. Not for me (Jeep or an SUV) but I hope you enjoy it sasha.
  16. Very nice Dunks. Love a bit of carbon fibre myself.
  17. Of course not that would of been rude.
