  1. I doubt this had anything to do with the filter you fitted, ...probably more just the way you drove the car afterwards & unfortunate coincidence. Did the EML come on? (small yellow engine light) Could be anything really but if they EML came on at least you'd have a chance of reading an error code.
  2. He's a pussy! Totally. Who wants to talk to people when you're driving anyway.
  3. Well that didn't last long Ian (Mouthwash). What's the matter ear's hurting? GLWTS seriously though, ...great looking exhaust.
  4. If you're looking to sell it in the next 6 months for definite then just get the best quality stainless steel budget exhaust you can, ...no point spending more money than you need to on something you're really only going to benefit from for 6 months. I'd say just get a Scorpion or Cobra as both are around £400 odd so great deals. See Tarmac Sportz or the Cougar Store (both in the trader section on here).
  5. Just get one if you want it. As I linked to from eBay in my post on the first page you can still get them and fairly cheaply.
  6. This is just my opinion but I always think it look's rubbish when people go painting the washer fluid caps & p/s caps etc. If you have to do something with them then maybe get some type of carbon fibre or chrome covers for them but even then I'm not a big fan. If it was me I'd paint the plenum a nice gloss or matt black (don't think polished would work with your colour scheme) then get a nice set of coloured bolts to replace the headlight securing bolts & other bolts around the engine bay. Also you could change your standard oil filler cap & radiator cap for something a bit brighter too ~ these have the benefit of that if you ever sell the car then they are easily removed & replaced with standard items too.
  7. Welcome aboard firstly. I can't see why you can't do the bumper tuck & fit that diffuser although it may cause an issue with where you attach the diffuser to in the centre with the bumper being higher up & out of the way, ...but I also can't see why you'd need a bumper tuck anyway if you are going to fit that diffuser if you get my drift. Basically the bumper tuck is usually done so that people can show off the back box on their exhaust system but if you fit that diffuser it will kind of obscure the rear back box anyway slightly so pretty pointless trying to do the bumper tuck. Any reason behind the question? Like does your Zed already have the bumper tuck done then?
  8. ^^ Interesting body work on that one. Pretty well done.
  9. Welcome aboard and lovely Zed, ...do like those alloys.
  10. You never know Zeezeebaba it could be one of these incidents where a Zed just like yours was involved but he was running on your registration plate pretending to be you, ...in which case it could be a nightmare. Hopefully it will all get sorted out easily enough. Good luck and keep us all posted.
  11. Enjoyed watching those.
  12. Couple I've just found for sale on eBay for you Bobby. Link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/rare-jdm-flare-with-window-striker-built-in-skyline-evo-civic-integra-/281607903544?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4191239938 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Japanese-Car-Flare-JDM-Supra-Celica-350Z-Skyline-Subaru-RX8-Civic-/301539904226?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item46352dcae2 I used to have one in my JDM Impreza, ...tbh they're rubbish. Seen another fellow Scooby owner set his off & it wasn't all that impressive plus most will be out of date by now so the likely hood of them working correctly is on the decrease.
  13. Yep love these things. Lot's of them about from individuals in the USA but you can also buy kits to make your own but obviously they aren't cheap. The Conley Factory is one that springs to mind ( ), ...maybe we could get Torqen to import them. Impressive mini V12 build here:
  14. Ok just found a thread which might be more useful. Post number 6 in this thread/Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/56481-kenwood-ddx-4028bt-rear-cam-install-%E2%80%93-superguide/ Hope that's a little more helpful.
  15. No problem and yes probably worth taking your time with it, ...you don't want to break clips etc rushing.
  16. Found a guide for you to help with removal. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/39453-rear-strut-brace-carbon-di-noc/ Post some pics if you do get it done.
  17. What about the rear strut bar cover? You know the silver one with the "Z" on it that always reflects in the rear window obscuring the view. Mines got a carbon fibre cover on it which looks much better imo than just the standard silver.
