  1. Thanks mate. Just pick it up this afternoon so I took it for bit driving and haven't taken any proper pictures of interior. After "toy" cars like my Swift Sport Turbo I forgot how a proper car feels and drives. But it has a bling bling effect now Hope you enjoy it and keep up the good work.
  2. Great pictures Snjur, ...the Zed look's fantastic.
  3. Hi Yeh I've got the whole car speakers and headunit working now was just a faulty lead. Looking to have four speakers on door card because the speakers behind the seat is bloody ear popping lol Not sure what you mean by "ear popping" but honestly you don't need four speakers on the front door cards to get a decent sound imo. Do you want it to sound good (quality wise)? ...or are you just chasing making it as loud as possible like some do? Imo just get a decent set of component speakers from a maker like "Focal" running through the amp I'm assuming from your post above that you already have. Then add a rear sub under the strut brace if you find you need some more bass.
  4. Let's hope so. Nice easy fix then.
  5. He did though Will. See below. So far it looks like it was the battery although Jack is going to have to wait & see if it lasts Will.
  6. ^^ Very nice Zed Andrew and great action shot.
  7. ^^ Gotta love a new car, ...as you say gang it will never look that clean or new again. Hope the Mrs enjoys it.
  8. Awesome. Good luck with the testing Wednesday and if you have a chance to get some onboard footage that would be cool.
  9. I changed all my passwords to "incorrect". So whenever I forget, it will tell me; "your password is incorrect".
  10. Could be that the fans are on their way out, ...keep an eye on the temperature level when driving just in case it happens again. Hopefully it won't though and all will be good.
  11. Ok so I missed it and last month? that was yesterday. My bad, sometimes these things happen. Yep no probs just fyi. Whether it was yesterday or not still technically last month now.
  12. Yep sad news Flex. Steve posted about it last month when it happened. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/95432-beam-me-up/
  13. Looks very nice. Although this made me smirk... No sense braking after the crash.
  14. It's a difficult question to answer though really in some ways because if you're after performance mods then nothing really makes any difference until you get the car remapped which isn't cheap. Plus as it's NA you don't really see a massive difference until you start looking at engine rebuilds & going FI. The best value modification in terms of increased enjoyment of the car though for me would have to be the exhaust system change ~ obviously it's nice having some new shiny exhaust pipes but the change in sound from the V6 when going full throttle is so much better than the OEM system. As your Zed already has a Scorpion exhaust I doubt though you'd want to change that so if it hasn't got HFC's (high flow CATs) that's what I'd be looking at. The Berks HFC's are what I used to have and they will make a change to the way the car sounds again and also a little bit of extra performance too if you get the Zed remapped (UpRev). I now have De-Cats which makes for even more noise but they aren't as MOT friendly as HFC's are. Having your alloys powder coated should be a great value mod for you as visually you will notice it every time you get in your car.
  15. Great work and glad that's all sorted for Zedd.
  16. Anybody want to put their name down !! I'll take two, ...one for each arm. That's just how I roll. So that would be 15 seconds on each arm then? No, 15 seconds total elapsed time.

  18. Definitely and that's what I'd do if the OEM fans are shot. Good luck.
  19. If it's been stood for as long as you say then potentially it could need; New tyre's all round. Fluids: brake fluid, clutch fluid (both hygroscopic fluids), coolant fluid. Battery. Oil & filter. Also if you follow the service schedule for the 350Z it could potentially also need other items like new spark plugs etc depending on whether they have been replaced correctly at the mileage/age specific intervals. Service schedule for a 350Z here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/31110-service-schedule-for-a-350z/ Could be a good buy still though if you can get it cheaply enough. Also worth checking that mice or similar haven't made it their home & chewed through wiring etc if it has been outside for years.
