  1. Yes I think it does. When I dropped off the spotted card I also noticed it was an auto.
  2. Very interesting read. I'd actually quite like to own or at least drive a proper electric car one day but it would have to be something along the lines of the BMW i8 or Tesla for me.
  3. Sounds good and looked like fun. Like the dials in your mates EP3 too.
  4. I was going to say that and it need's spacers. Both need spacers but girlfriends are expensive This is true, ...but they do have their good uses.
  5. Look's nice & I'm sure you're going to love that exhaust when it's fitted. Love my Invidia.
  6. I was going to say you missed a bit but as I scrolled down the page I realised it was something on my screen, ...probably from when I sneezed earlier. Look's great.
  7. Was a great days racing Stevo wasn't it. Looking forward to the next one now.
  8. Welcome aboard Dave. Can't beat a supercharged Zed for fun. Any pics?
  9. Good meeting you too Dave. Couldn't stay to watch the MG's race unfortunately though as we left early for two reasons ~ one was my Mrs had to go for a meal with her parents and two because she had turned into a rather funky red lobster colour. Guessing we should have worn sun cream. Video below I managed to get of a little spin. Did see a Peugeot ditch it into the armco at Quarry too but typically I didn't catch that on video. Also nice to meet Ian (HAMLNJ) and his lovely Mrs as well. Nice meeting some more forum members face to face.
  10. Both Zeds look great but the Nismo is stunning I think.
  11. Yep it's there Keith. Great pictures & a nice video but tbh you've not exactly put a lot into the advert to grab buyers attention (no offence intended). Personally I think you need to bullet point all the good bits and explain a little bit about the car & how it's been looked after. Like it states new tyres, ...what tyres where fitted? If it's a cheap set of ditch finders then no buyers going to like that but if it's a half decent set then they can see you look after the car. I'd also list the mileage that services have been done & what has been done etc. Just things like that so that your Zed will stand out from all the other Zeds advertised not just on here but also Autotrader, Pistonheads, GumTree etc etc. Food for thought I hope and GLWTS.
  12. I was going to say that and it need's spacers.
  13. If your cars an Import then it wouldn't have had an alarm from the factory. If your cars a UK model then it could be that the alarm went faulty and this was the cheaper replacement option or possibly the previous owner just wanted a better alarm system so upgraded it. Just guessing though really.
  14. Shouldn't speak for Mike but yes they are 350Z specific. They are moulded to the shape of the Nissan OEM A-pillar. When mine was fitted I just used 3M double sided sticky tape to hold it in place against the OEM A-pillar but because my gauges are 60mm (so have a bit of weight to them) and I knocked it once with my hand the tape became a little loose so I added two small black screws to firmly secure it in place. Personally I can't see a problem with adding the screws as it just required drilling two small holes and it's really not noticeable imo.
  15. Thanks I'm pleased it turned out ok. Masking off took the main time, but didn't want to remove plenum so worth it. Beats sitting in doors eating chocolate all day í ½í¸€ Look's like you did a good job of the masking off which as you say is the hardest part. Kudos.
  16. No probs and you're right if you let the insurance company know you probably could be saving a little, ...only if it's a Thatcham approved alarm & immobiliser though. You'd need to know exactly what model you have though first for that. I paid £35 locally at an Audio/alarm specialists here in Cardiff who checked out my alarm system on a JDM Impreza I owned. They confirmed it was a Thatcham Cat 1 alarm/immobiliser system and issued me a certificate to prove it which I then sent to my insurers.
  17. Top job. Look's fantastic and glad this thread inspired you to do it.
  18. From looking on google "SPAL" make all sorts of automotive parts (fans/switches etc) and also car alarms. My bet it is an immobiliser key card on your keyring.
  19. My guess is he's not coming back to share.
  20. London and tbf most Londoners are crazy though, ...can't be dealing with London prices for things. Not a great house, no garage etc but a house nevertheless. Link: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-46445842.html
  21. ^^ Do you have an aftermarket alarm & immobiliser? Could be some type of wireless key card for the immobiliser. Maybe take one off the car keys and try to start the car without it on to see if it will start & drive (some immobiliser's will still let you drive before coming on later down the road fyi).
  22. A f**king house for one. It is crazy money really but oh my what a car.
  23. Going to turn into a "mini" meet at this rate.
  24. Never seen it on Rays before, ...doesn't mean it wouldn't look good though just that nobody else has tried it yet AFAIK. Would be good imo.
