  1. I've got one of those aerial magnet jobs Dicky, ...saved my butt many times.
  2. Sounds like you know what to do, ...get the carbon fibre EPR one then by the sounds of it is the plan. When I did mine I put masking tape over the bits I was going to cut out and then drew the lines where I wanted to cut in pencil onto the masking tape. I was also able to kind of lay my old pre-cut cover on top of the carbon fibre one to give me the rough lines. I used Dremel fibreglass reinforced cutting discs as I found they worked the best for cutting the CB.
  3. Love doing long exposure shots and yours look pretty good. Tbh though you really need to go somewhere with a lot more lights & traffic to really make it an impressive shot. Even a high street or something can look pretty impressive when taken in low light with a long exposure. Also use a tripod if you're not as it will help eliminate that slight blur in the last pic I think.
  4. Pmsl. Will do. If you read the exchange between me & coldel (below) afterwards it might appear more evident as a joke. Guess I was too subtle. Possibly, ...it's so hard to tell with those high tech Photoshop skills.
  5. If there is nothing wrong with your standard engine cover then I'd keep it as is tbh. I mean from the picture it looks good and the "V6 3.5" still look's like new. I only changed mine in the end because it had cracked from being cut to accommodate the pulleys, the "V6 3.5" logo was worn and then to top it off I lost my "NISSAN" badge so I thought f**k this. Was lucky in the end because Chris gave me a good discount on the carbon fibre cover and my Dremel skills modified it perfectly to fit around my SC pulleys.
  6. Except our surname is on it - I removed it before posting the "copy" on the web - if you go and read the list it is on there though I believe you Chris honestly. I was joking ~ can see the white blob where you hid your surname.
  7. Great start and glad you're enjoying your first Zed.
  8. Welcome aboard Wayne. Which 350Z is best is a tough question and really depends on your budget & what you ultimately like. Have a look through the "350Z for sale" section on here for some inspiration.
  9. Mitz is in Leicester. Link: http://cougarstore.co.uk/index.php?main_page=contact_us&zenid=bcaa60565806895c2c0f2d2ff1b32aee Welcome aboard Mak.
  10. TDI North are very reputable so I'm sure that everything's running as it should be. My guess is that you do in fact have higher cc rate fuel injectors than you know as Ricky said 500cc or above. Either way enjoy your Zed and look forward to seeing what else you get up to with it.
  11. Rather than me trying to write out all the differences between the models have a read here when you get 5 mins: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_350Z Early 350Z interior. 2006 onward's interior. For £6K you're looking at either a DE or DE RevUp. Personally I'd try to find a really good DE as the tax bracket is less although some of the RevUp models do have a lower tax bracket depending on when they where first registered. In saying that though the tax difference is still small. FSH is a must imo and tbh the mileage doesn't really bother me but you may want to try to get a lower mileage model if you can. 12. Depends on your budget really and also what interior/exterior you like. The HR engine is the newest incarnation in a 350Z so that's what I'd aim for if you can but then they are a lot more money to buy than the earlier first gen DE engine 350Z's.
  13. Sounds good TT350. Same thinking as Ricky though, ....did you make a typo with the injectors? I'm running Deatschwerks 600cc injectors on my supercharged Zed which is running 436Bhp.
  14. Welcome aboard John. Guide for new members/potential owners: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/22880-guide-for-new-memberspotential-buyers/ Buyers guide: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/77426-buyers-guide/ Top 100 FAQs: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/24796-top-100-faqs-must-read-wip/ 350Z service schedule (useful for when looking at Zeds history to see if the services are up to date): http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/31110-service-schedule-for-a-350z/ It depends on your budget obviously & what your after to what Zed you buy.
  15. Like the wheel nuts against the black.
  16. ^^ Yep just looked back. I see what you're doing now.
  17. +1. Hope the Cops get the scum bags.
  18. Hasnt he rubbed out the surname though with some very high tech photoshop skills? Possibly, ...it's so hard to tell with those high tech Photoshop skills.
  19. Definitely agree with both of you. I get why people do it but just not how they can live with it. I find I use my rear wiper fairly often not just when it's raining but if the rear windows covered with dust/dirt etc so I wouldn't want to be wiper-less. No amount of Rainex will get rid of dust/dirt or bird poop Payco.
  20. It's not a mod I'd do as I find my rear wiper useful but a lot of people prefer the look of removing the rear wiper. Guide below in the link if you do decide it's something you'd want to do. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/71353-how-to-wiper-removal-delete/
  21. Well that could be any Chris & Kim for all we know. Pretty cool though.
