  1. Looks fantastic mate. Not surprised it took you so long though. I'd be not far off that as well if I had to clay bar, wax, polish & add Rainex too. Proper job.
  2. As far as I know my clutch is still the original one and it's on 94K miles odd and my Zed has been FI for over 6 months now. Really hoping though that a previous owner has changed it at some point and I'm just missing the paper work but tbh I have every other bit of service history from all the previous owners including the original purchase receipt from the show room so I can't see it being the case.
  3. Very interesting read Ryan. Like the 3D metal printed keyring ~ Do you work for "Renishaw" then? They are our suppliers of our vacuum casting resins that we use here in Cardiff where I work.
  4. Welcome back. Personally I'd say try the 350Z HR if you can or even a 370Z if you can stretch to it as sometimes going back to an old love is never the same. Maybe try something newer & more exciting.
  5. Some reasonably good info in there.
  6. How dirty was it?! The worst I usually have is a couple of hairs & a twig or two. Think I might time everything next Friday just for fun.
  7. Personal preference but I use Motul 8100 fully synthetic oil in my Zed. 5W30 for yours. Check out Opie Oils on here or some of the other traders like Clark Motorsport, Horsham Developments etc etc as they can all supply you with everything you'll ever need for the Zed. All in the professional traders section. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/93-professional-traders/
  8. Try Halfords for the Velcro Wasso as I doubt B&Q will have it.
  9. What about velcro stick on pads?
  10. ^^ Same. It only usually takes me around an hour to do my car inside & out each week, ...occasionally I spend longer prior to winter or if I was going to a show or something like that. Always cleaned my cars myself and also feel like it's a good work out of sorts too so helps keep me fit. How do you manage to do it in an hour mate? Usually takes me a few! I think the longest I've done is 6hrs!! Because I work fast and also because it's not got that dirty in a week. Hoover inside (dash, floor mats etc occasionally using 3M leather wipes on seats & 3M wipes on interior). Jet wash, snow foam, jet wash, two bucket shampoo, jet wash, clean alloys & exhaust, dry entire car ~ job done. Maybe takes a shade over an hour when you take into an account getting the equipment out & putting it away.
  11. You can get free "Db meter" Apps for most phones so that's one option to test it's level JoKeR or alternatively for a more accurate reading you can get cheap "ish" meters from eBay. No idea on any legal limits for roads sorry.
  12. No probs. When I just took that last pic I was trying to capture the gauges inside the binnacle as I thought that would be the angle you'd need to know. Good luck with it.
  13. Looks pretty authentic so kudos for that but pretty sure most people will just think; "look at that idiot, he's still got a tax disc in his window when we don't use them anymore" If you like it though that's all that matters.
  14. I thought he wanted second dibs on Wink. Don't think he is fussy, probably just being practical, surely not long before another engine is required Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Could be as soon as next month *waits for zmanalex* "good condition, low mileage used engines in stock & ready to go next day"
  15. I thought he wanted second dibs on Wink.
  16. Looking good John. That Apexi switch look's made to measure. Great stuff.
  17. No problems and good luck with your Zed hunt.
