  1. Wendy I'm nowhere near ripped, ...just trying hard to get more (bigger) muscles. I'm definitely well toned though now. If you want to try flying then maybe take a look at gliders (easier to get into then flying an actual motorized plane). My Mrs has done that before and she loved it.

  3. Then you're looking at... Full exhaust system (you say you have a Nismo exhaust but if it's just the back box then you'll want a full centre system & Y-pipe to go with it). HFC's (High Flow Cats) or De-Cats. Plenum spacer ~ for example: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/71728-fsbatch-4-custom-anodised-plenum-spacers-170/ Performance panel filter ~ best for performance but you could also go for an intake kit if that's what you want. UpRev ~ basically a remap to get it all running properly but will also give you better throttle response. See here for more info: http://www.h-dev.co.uk/index2.php?page=350z_mapping It's also worth noting that if you want the car to go faster & perform better then tyres, brakes and some good suspension mods shouldn't be over looked. Another thing is weight reduction which if you don't mind losing a few interior parts or splashing out on light weight alloys etc that'll make the Zed quicker.
  4. It's not that I see it as a chore so much but just that I don't find it that enjoyable. I listen to music though whilst I exercise which does help and definitely helps mask any embarrassing grunting noises.
  5. Also depends on your goals, ...like are you just about looks or do you ultimately want some more performance? or both of course. If it's looks then hensh above has covered some of it. If it's performance then you're gonna be looking at; plenum spacer, HFC's or De-Cats, performance panel filter (possibly intake kit if you want some more engine bay bling), UpRev (remap) and that's about as far as you can go N/a without starting to spend some big bucks on things like engine rebuilds, cams, chargers etc. Also worth considering uprated brake components & suspension components to help with the performance side of things and better tyres can help too especially if you're running ditch finders.
  6. ^^ This. Still makes me laugh ~ the visual image it conjures up though is disturbing, yet hilarious at the same time.
  7. Horsham Developments is where I go for the major stuff the local guys can't handle ~ in fact they fitted my supercharger & mapped my car plus lots more in between. They're about an hour & a half away from you by the looks of it from your location so worth considering imo should you need something done that's a bit more serious than just an oil change. 8. Looks ok I guess. No seriously it does look very nice.
  9. Glad you weren't hurt and I hope the forklift driver got an ear full. What a douche.
  10. Good luck and hope the dealers honourable.
  11. Before my time but welcome back. Lovely set of cars you've owned btw. I think the GTR is hands down the best though.
  12. We're off topic but still wanted to reply, ....I'm doing 4 sets of 8-10 on everything currently. 10 Reps is the goal but if I only make it to 8 on each set then I'm happy. I'm not lifting anywhere near what you're capable of but I have a different physique & I'm now lifting a lot more weight than what I could 6 months ago. I've put on a lot of muscle mass since I started my training so am pleased with the way it's going. I do find it difficult though as I don't really get a buzz from it like some people seem to when doing the actual exercising bit although I do get a buzz from seeing an improvement in my weight & muscle.
  13. ^^ Brilliant and Henry looks awesome, ...although kind of "not amused" in that picture.
  14. Boom Boom! We all know that's the real reason you want one.
  15. I'm surprised at the condition of that Porsche engine too. If it had been sitting in a salvage yard exposed to the elements for 9 years then I'd expect that but just being pulled out of the engine bay I wouldn't have thought it would be that bad. Good luck with it Adrian and hope you get it all done under warranty.
  16. My mate back in the 90's had one under the passenger seat in his Nova GTE, ..."apparently" the ladies loved it.
  17. That's exactly what I have read/learnt so I'm sticking with it. I train at home but have been to the gym a few times in the past and I concur that is true, ...very true.
  18. Never had to diet in my life luckily but in a way that makes it harder as I have to bulk up & increase my food intake. Not easy for a picky eater. Done my bulking up phase now though so I'm just weight training at the mo ~ increasing my weight load every two weeks. Never really going to get to your size as I'm not built that way but just getting a bit more ripped is the goal.
  19. Mike if you like throwing money away just for a stamp in your service book then stick with the main dealer. Personally I have found them less than satisfactory and at double the price of a good independent too. For example: When I first got my 350 I had my local Nissan dealership supply & change my spark plugs. For this I was charged around £220 and when I got the car back I found the mechanic had wrecked a new K&N sticker which was on my air filter box. This is obviously a minor thing but to me it shows a lack of respect for my car. Later I also found that when replacing the spark plug they had stripped the threads on one of the coil pack retaining bolt holes. To fix this the "mechanic" had filled the hole with silicone and then put the bolt in. Bodge job if ever I've seen one and I have never gone back because of it. If I can't do the work on my 350 myself I now use a good local independent garage for smaller jobs, MOT's etc and take a drive to Horsham Developments (around an hour away) for anything more serious. I know that when selling my car anyone who really knows anything about the 350 or 370 Zed for that matter will be more impressed with a good service history from Horsham Developments (the Cougar Store, Abbey Motorsport, TDi, RT Performance etc to name a few more) than any Nissan main dealer.
  20. ^^ Looking good ~ no homo. I've been working out now 3 times a week since around January. Definitely seen improvements but obviously these things take time. Hardest part is staying motivated but I'm sticking at it so far.
  21. Great little dog ~ my Mrs wants to adopt Phoebe.
  22. Well done Darren and congrats. Brilliant to see the car (almost) fully together at last. Enjoy it.
