GMballistic replied to GMballistic's topic in Zeds For Sale
Same thing you did Ian. Just got to go through 2 Skylines, 2 BMW's a Toyota and then I'll be back in a Zed again. That's crazy talk man, Cheers Matt. -

Thanks and yes a little bit sad but has to be done. Always time in the future for another Zed or better though. -

Hopefully an enthusiast will buy it and continue it on the modding path. I'm open to offers as really I'm hoping to sell it within the next month or so before everything goes through with the house. That way I won't have to change my address details on the V5/Insurance. Thanks Andy. Thanks Dunks and I'm sure I'll hang around. -

Thanks Kyle. Re: Washer motors ~ literally happened in the last week as I stupidly didn't check my washer level and have burnt out the motors by trying to use it with no screen wash in it or by sucking up debris (fuses are fine, checked and all pipe work I can see clear). What with spending money left, right & centre at the moment I thought I'd leave it to fix them once I'd moved house but then I suddenly decided, just yesterday in fact, that really I should sell the Zed. I could have kept quite about them going remember but I've always thought honesty is the best policy. You are right though it would be better to fix them I know so will see how it goes & I'll give Clark Motorsport a PM for a new motor. -
Only way I can see is for you to catch the spiders and find them a new home in the garden somewhere. Can't blame them for wanting to live in the Zed though, ...height of luxury for them and I bet it's great when you put the heated mirrors on.

It does indeed and thanks for the good wishes. You see now Paul why I started selling off some of my goodies. Glad they found a good home with you. Thanks Veeg. I'm not going anywhere, ...might actually get to see you finish your Zed one day that way. Cheers Rich. Always happy to help others when I can. For sale price adjusted (mainly to help encourage a quicker sale) slightly after sleeping on it. Open to offers. -

Thanks sipar and will definitely stick around after the sale. I've honestly never known a car forum or any other forum for that matter as good as this one. Cheers Scott. Wasn't an easy decision to make but I think it has to be done. Thanks Crb and do it. I think considering how much has gone into it and based on how new all the parts are still it is a bargain. Only done around 3.5K miles boosted so far as I do very little miles per year anyway. Cheers Keyser, ...sure you don't want to buy it? You've definitely room for it. Yep I didn't think I'd be doing this especially after what I spent on it last October but I also didn't think I'd be getting my dream house this year so every cloud has a silver lining I guess. It is gutting honestly. House hunt is all sorted, ...just need to wait for the solicitors to finish doing their thing and that's that. -

God no! Thinking along the lines of Audi hatchback or possibly a Honda again just for the short term but we'll see. Dibs noted. Would prefer it to go to an enthusiast owner who could carry on the modding and add their own touch. I mean there is so much more that could be done to it like body kits, big brake kits, more engine mods etc. Yep but she's a low earner, ...training advisor for adult learning and basically just gets the minimum wage. -

Cheers for the comments guys. My gut says really I should get something more practical for awhile & put the house needs first. I pretty much have to get all furniture etc from scratch so I've a lot to buy and although I do have savings I'm thinking this is the sensible move to unlock some more capital. Doubt I'll be going from here though as there is no other car forum like it. -

Just get back on the 'porker' forums sir! Porker forums?, ...is that one of those forums for guys that like really obese women?

This may be a surprise to some, ...hell it's a surprise to me, ...but I've decided it's time to sell the Zed due to buying a new home with my fiancee. So without further delay: For sale: 2003 Supercharged Nissan 350Z GT coupe in Gun Metal Grey colour ~ SOLD 2003 (53 plate) Gun Metal Grey colour Coupe 95,896 miles as of today (will rise slightly as daily driver) Manual 6 speed gearbox Full GT spec: Brembo brakes, black leather/heated seats, Bose sound system etc (No Rays as running Rotas) FSH 2 keys MOT expires MAY 2016 (so 10 months left) Has the following mods: Vortech V3SCI tuner kit ~ fitted by Horsham Developments October 2014 (mapped to 436Bhp@flywheel via UpRev) Front mount intercooler & BOV as part of the Vortech supercharger kit Vortech/Stillen 3.12" pulley AAM competition basic fuel return system (with Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator) Deatschwerks 600cc fuel injectors Mishimoto 19 row oil cooler Mishimoto red silicone coolant hoses with Samco stainless steel clamps Mishimoto thermostatic oil sandwich plate Mishimoto 1.3Bar radiator cap Nismo water thermostat Rutland oil catch can Tarmac Sportz carbon fibre engine cover K&N large air filter & custom cold air intake with red silicone hoses Invidia Gemini true dual full exhaust system with rolled stainless steel tips Berks De-Cats Horsham Developments Plenum Spacer TRT Performance 255l/p/h fuel pump NGK 1 Stage cooler spark plugs UpRev GT MAF Defi "black face" 60mm oil pressure, boost pressure & oil temperature gauges with control unit (blue colour lights) Rota Grid Steel Grey 19" alloys (no curbing marks) with Falken 453 tyres (ET20 Front: 245/35, Rear: 275/35) ~ good tread all round although rears slightly lower than front tread (fitted April 2014) EBC Turbo groove Front brake discs with Ferodo DS2500 brake pads (fitted Feb 2014) ~ rear discs also grooved but unsure of make Goodridge stainless steel brake lines (Motul RBF600 brake fluid) SuperPro banana arm bushes (fitted Feb 2014) Pioneer CD/DVD/RADIO player with USB/Aux inputs Silvertec front & rear indicators (silver appearance so no fried egg look or orange showing) LED interior bulbs AquaGraphix hydrodipped gold leaf carbon fibre drivers switch panel, passengers switch panel & interior grab handle Stainless steel engine bolts used throughout engine bay Stubby aerial Carbon fibre bonnet lifters LED number plate bulbs Probably something I'm forgetting but I think that's most of it. Build thread here: http://www.350z-uk.c...upe-vids-added/ Last major service was late October 2014 with Horsham Developments when they fitted the charger kit & other accompanying mods (including Defi gauges, oil cooler etc). They also replaced both cam covers & gaskets at a cost of £350 odd so no worries about oil on spark plugs, added new Nissan coolant again (twice in one year) as well as Motul 8100 fully synthetic oil. February 2014 with Horsham Developments ~ fitted H.Dev plenum spacer, new Motul RBF600 brake fluid, new clutch fluid, new Nissan coolant, new gearbox oil, new diff oil, Molyslip added to gearbox, new belts, oil change, fitted SuperPro competition banana arm bushes, new EBC front discs, new Ferodo pads and full four wheel alignment. I have a large folder full of all my old bills & receipts for absolutely everything including when I've fitted new bulbs, wipers etc. I also have two dyno printouts from Horsham Developments from both times I have had my Zed UpReved (remapped) ~ first time February 2014 of 294Bhp@fly and second time after the supercharger was fitted October 2014 of 436Bhp@fly. ***Any questions please feel free to ask and I'm open to sensible offers regarding the price.*** Bad bits It does have some negatives as do all used cars such as a few stone chips/light marks here & there mainly on the front bumper/few on wing mirror covers. Currently my windscreen washer motors have died but that is cheap enough to fix (£10 each for the motors & about 15 minutes to fit). There is also some slight bubbling on the rear drivers side wheel arch (very last picture) which I have photographed below although it hasn't gotten any worse in the last 12 months it will probably need respraying at some point ~ quote I got was £250 to get it done & blown in but that may be a bit expensive. Feel free to PM any questions or offers & thanks for looking.

Thanks GM means a lot coming from you! Yeah I could never wind the zed up properly on a daily basis ran out of road space before she got there unless I took a major detour on country roadsí ½í¸¥ whereas the mini is fun in short bursts í ½í¸ I shall be lurking around and smiling at the memories tho and who knows when I retire in 12years when I'm 75 I might get a classy classic zed. Or Veilsides one! In my dreams! í ½í¸Ž Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Aaahh thanks Alize. My brothers had two Mini's now including his latest one a Cooper S so I'm no stranger to them. As long as you enjoy it & it stays reliable for you that's all that matters imo.
-
That is generous of you, ...I'd say get them to donate £5 to the forum though instead as without it they wouldn't have got the free spark plugs in the first place.

+1. Feel sorry for the guy really. -
Lot worse cars you could of bought Alize, ...hope it serves you well & you enjoy it.

I'd just use Nissan power steering fluid tbh. Does exactly what it says on the tin.

Second picture just looks like damage to the heat shielding so I wouldn't worry about that. The first picture though is a "flexi joint", ...these can start to blow and when they do will either mean you'll need a new Y-pipe or will have to have the flexi joint repaired by having it cut out & a new one welded in place. At the moment though it doesn't look like it is blowing as I can't see any soot build up deposits although it might not be too long before it does start blowing as that is obviously a weak spot now. Just keep an eye on it for now would be my advice.

Welcome aboard. "Super Pro" make some great bushes for the Zed.
