I haven't as that's something I never actually took a picture of before I sold my Zed. Managed to find one online though below.... You can see the divider attached above to the boot lid. Hope that makes things clearer. No idea sorry. You could try a Nissan dealership or failing that just try using any other type of body clip that will fit in the hole. Best take it to a specialist really. The only problem you might come across is getting them to match the paint, ...they may suggest you have all 4 redone if they can't get an exact paint match although unless it's a special colour or a particularly old set of alloys a colour match shouldn't be a problem. Let us know how you get on.

Good luck with the run today.

Cheers Stu and I do appreciate it. It's just that's another reason why I wanted a more "normal" car like the Civic as I know I can take it to pretty much any of the good local independent garages and they'll know what they're doing on it. Don't want to be faffing around driving hundreds of miles to some "specialist" garage anymore no matter how good they are. Such a shame Wales is so s**t for "specialist" car garages/decent mappers.

Thanks Stu but really going to leave this as standard as I can. I do have a few ideas for it ~ like having the alloys refurbed (as they are all curbed), maybe an induction kit just for some noise but other than that I want to fight my modding urges as this cars is supposed to be saving me money (well compared to the 350 anyway). It is actually surprisingly economical in comparison to my old Zed though as my best MPG going back & forth to work last week was 31.5MPG. The Zed would have probably been more like 14-17MPG at a guess.

Honestly I'm not going to mod it. It was just that the OEM gear gaiter was worn & ripped so for the £11 it cost for the new one from eBay I thought why not. It was the only thing letting down an otherwise tidy interior. You can stay away from me as well Stu.

Sounded great I thought even through my cr**py lap top speakers. Would love an R8 one day.

Today was a good day. Great weather, got some jobs done and enjoyed a nice drive too. The Civic got treated to 2 new front tyres (Bridgestone Potenza RE050A) and I also fitted a new gear gaiter that I bought. The Honda dealer wanted £44 odd for an OEM gear gaiter (which isn't genuine leather or anything special) but after some research on CTRO I found a nice replacement for £11 odd on eBay from "Top Gaiters". Genuine leather as well.

Looks like some good fun to be had there, ...especially like the R8 and the sound of it.

What make of alloy is it? The reason I ask is because I know you can buy Rota alloy wheel paint from Rare Rims on here & if it's not too bad you might want to try repairing it yourself. My old Rotas got curbed a few times in my ownership and I repaired them each time myself. Does take some balls though as you have to use various grades of wet n' dry paper on them until you get a smooth finish. Then prime the alloy & repaint/lacquer all done by hand. Not blowing my own trumpet but other people couldn't even tell where I had repaired it in the end. Safest bet though is probably to take it somewhere like "The Wheel Specialist" for a really good repair job. Link: http://www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk/locations/fareham-hants/

Cheers Veeg. Hopefully over the worst of it now (withdrawals) although I'm still being a moody t**t at times & feeling bad tempered at the drop of a hat. Just got to stick at it as the hardest bit is definitely behind me I'm sure.

Yes it's in the fuel bucket inside the fuel tank (drivers side). Fuel bucket below... Modified example of a fuel bucket below but shows the fuel pump as n#174 Hope that helps.

Glad they never got in Darryl. You need to set up one of these I think....

Just thought I'd bump this thread as if anyone was wondering if vaping on E-cigs can help to stop you smoking I thought they might find this interesting. I have stopped using my E-cig as of 1 week ago today so am completely nicotine free now. Although I do want to smoke like crazy still at the moment (but I haven't). The basic story fyi ~ January 2014 app. I stopped smoking normal cigarettes (Benson & Hedges Silver) and moved onto vaping electronic cigarettes after buying an E-cig starter pack for £35 odd from my local E-cig shop. Basically a battery, charger, clearomizer, case & one free E-liquid. At first I was using fairly high nicotine level E-liquids but slowly I reduced these down (18mg, 16mg, 12mg, 8mg, 6mg, 3mg) over a period of months. The week before last I decided that I should quit now in order to further boost my monthly income with my impending house move on the cards. I did this by mixing my usual 3mg nicotine E-liquid with an identical flavour 0mg nicotine free E-liquid (ratio 1:5). I did this for about 5 days before switching completely to nicotine free E-liquid. This actually seemed to work pretty well for me as I only really started to get strong withdrawals this last week after I completely stopped using the E-cig altogether even though I had already stopped using the E-liquids with nicotine in 5 days or so prior. So now I feel it's safe to say I've actually given up smoking & nicotine completely. I also worked out some costs btw. Smoking cigarettes used to cost me "on average" £125 per month (£1500 per year although it was probably higher than this). Vaping E-cigarettes used to cost me "on average" £44 per month (£528 per year although it was probably higher than this). ^^ Pretty good saving per year I think not to mention I do feel healthier & fitter now.
