Sorry to read you had a high speed accident but don't take it as you lost confidence, ...more gained experience as to what can go wrong. None of us that go on track days are really doing it for anything more than just a bit of fun so why push beyond our limits although obviously it is fun to get as close to the limit as possible. When you mount the GoPro mount on your windscreen make sure you keep it off the little black dots near the rear view mirror. That's where I went wrong before & it came unstuck just like yours did. Luckily when it happened to me I was just testing it on public roads so it was no bother but it could be a different story if it happened on track especially if the camera fell under your brake pedal.

Brilliant weather and you made good progress. Bit of a bugger the camera fell off though, ...cheap eBay suction cup mount? or is it a decent one that just wasn't fitted properly? I've a genuine GoPro one that I use with my GoPro and it's fantastic (highly recommend it if you haven't one).

Great news, ...should that be £3.50 though or was it meant to be £350? Bit of a difference you see.

Did you post the wrong two pictures gstraw after the first two? Just wondered as your number plate is showing & it was blurred in the first two pics. Just fyi. I prefer it all colour coded tbh.

I really like the HR bulge bonnet and would have definitely considered putting one on my DE Zed had one come up at a reasonable price. I don't think it looks out of place or ugly on a DE Zed at all, just different.

Seeing that engine in the bay Ian, ....my god you're so, so close to being done!! If it can be done I'd press on with the build (understand though that money doesn't grow on trees) as you deserve imo to enjoy the Zed on an open road with that engine screaming away at least once.

I don't think it's the guns that are the problem necessarily, ...personally I think there is something wrong psychologically with so many of the American people that it is that which is the greater problem. I mean literally so many of them seemingly to have no empathy or compassion towards their fellow human beings & their own lives. Imo they will never ban guns in America and even if they did with the millions of unregistered & illegally owned guns they could never eradicate them all from existence. It's got to be said though that in some instances people having a gun to hand can save lives so probably better for the American public to have free access to guns if that's what they want with so many guns being in the hands of criminals, gang members, rapists, murderers etc etc, at least it gives some of the "decent" population a chance to fight back against the nutters should they be attacked. So you know you have to get your Nephew one don't you (I mean as long as his parents say it's ok). Maybe you & his Dad could even "pimp" it up for him.

Great fun weren't they. I especially liked how you could pull handbrake turns and get the practice in whilst you were young.

I did think the 370 had gone then, ...must learn to skip to the bottom more often with these threads. Looks pretty mean and its got some green too.
