  1. Just noticed it's your Birthday Darryl. Hope you've been having a good day. All the best.
  2. Welcome aboard. The genuine Nismo 350Z was only available in Japan & America with AFAIK only ever one being imported into the UK, ...which was apparently done by a Nissan dealership. Some more info on the 350's can be found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_350Z You can of course pay extra if you like for a "so called" Nismo 350Z because of all the extra parts fitted (stickers, badges, skirts etc) but just be aware that it won't be a genuine Nismo. If you are so inclined you could always just pay less for a decent 350Z GT and then add the extra mods you want afterwards which is what I'd do.
  3. Don't think the 70's have an aerial like the 50's do Chirag. LED's is a good shout though.
  4. Hi, do you have Riceys contact details, is he based in South East? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/220-revolve-automotive-ltd/
  5. Tough decision as £20 doesn't get you much for the 370. What about some nice dust valve caps? Link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RICHBROOK-SPINNING-ANTI-THEFT-TYRE-WHEEL-VALVE-DUST-CAPS-FOR-NISSAN-/200751964711?hash=item2ebdbfe227:g:emwAAOSwnDxUk~7W
  6. I don't think hydro-dip puts a wheel through heat or anything Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Hydro dipping itself doesn't, ...unless it was put in an oven or in front of a heater during the painting process (primer, base coat or lacquer). Highly unlikely though that even if it had that it would have caused any damage to the alloy imho.
  7. Wouldn't blame yourself as obviously someone tried to hide it (whether that was the seller though or a previous owner again who knows). Highly recommend you give zmanalex (Alex) above a PM to see what price he can do you for a good used condition or brand new GT4 alloy wheel.
  8. Did you not click the link? Link: http://www.amazingandweird.com/art-creativity/home-made-lamborghini-in-america-by-ken-imhoff-self-made/ Shows how he put the car together himself over a decade in his basement.
  9. Loving the way your Zeds looking Dunks. Fantastic. Sorry to hear about your old man, ...hopefully though things will get better for him & you both.
  10. That's not good and I know those alloys aren't cheapy ones either. Did you hit a curb or something? Have to say though when you filmed behind the spoke it almost looked like a piece of weld had been put on the back of the spoke and ground back a little, ...as in it looks like someone has tried repairing it before. Could be wrong. Did you have those alloys dipped yourself or were they a secondhand buy like that? Hydro dipping an alloy to match shouldn't be a problem for a competent dipping firm as long as they get the same film graphics sheet. Just try Googling hydro dipping firms in your local area. Good luck with it.
  11. Very impressive and I agree with Stu. After all that time spent on the car it seems such a shame not to keep it and let it stay with the family. Although if I had done this I'd have definitely done the side windows differently despite it making it look different from the original as it's one of the stupidest things about those Lambos imho.
  12. Looking good. As well as shave off a few more mm's from the holes just to ensure clearance I'd consider adding some steel mesh over the holes to protect the cooler from road debris, stones etc from being able to directly hit the cooling fins. Just an idea. On mine I had the ZunSportz grille in front of both the oil cooler & intercooler which definitely protected them.
  13. I've seen one or two locally, ...although they could just be sh*t cars that people don't care about to be fair.
  14. I was going to list my favourite but the more I watched of the video the more I realised that I wouldn't be able to choose just one. So many awesome cars.
  15. Yep same here. I have a garage with a corrugated metal roof and after fireworks night last weekend I found a 3.5ft long stick on it from a rocket. If that had hit my car roof it definitely would have caused some damage.
  16. Zed looks very nice. Best bet is to have a good look through the 350Z members build threads, ...you might just find it. I did have a look for you but couldn't find it easily so gave up sorry.

    GT-Four

That's pretty impressive. If it was me I'd definitely up the power if I could, ...maybe wait till you hit your "year anniversary" then do it.
  18. Approved but you might want to add are those prices delivered or collection prices. GLWTS.
  19. No idea sorry and I don't think he knows why either. He just told me the seller (from Amazon) had said it was stuck at customs so he got his money back. Also regarding the moped idea I'm not sure how old you are sorry Squee (maybe you're younger than I thought) but if you have a full UK driving licence and passed your test before 2001 AFAIK you don't need to do a CBT as long as it's a 50cc moped or below. Still would need insurance & road tax though as you mentioned. What about an electric/pedal bike? Perfectly legal to use on the roads and the range on them is pretty good (definitely further than the hover board). Just an idea. 20. I'd wager that it's not properly empty then, ...or Super Unleaded petrol around your area is silly cheap.
