Me & my fiancee are enjoying our first Christmas together in our own home. Our decorations are old but the tree is brand new ~ a prelit £35 tree from Asda's with 180 LEDs. Pretty pleased with it tbh.
Very nice Veeg. I had to work today but am off for Christmas now.
I won't be going on any nice drives though as it's not as enjoyable in my Honda as it used to be in the Zed.
Gmballistic did pretty much the same thing with his supercharged zed and there was nothing wrong with his, just a change of plans.
Pretty much.
My supercharger build was finished October 2014 and I got rid of the Zed July 2015 so approximately 9 months with it FI. Still miss it now especially as I downgraded to the Honda CTR but it had to be done as buying a house was much more important.
It wasn't even that I got a big cash injection for getting rid of my Zed either it was more so the reduction in running/servicing costs by changing vehicle that was why it had to be done.
Plus if something had gone wrong with for example the engine or clutch then it would have easily cost a few thousand pounds or more which is a lot of money when you already have to buy all your furniture/white goods etc etc new as we had nothing (had to be sensible).
You could try cleaning your car seat belt to see if that helps at all.

The guy in the video states to use a specific cleaner made for the job but you could always just use warm soapy water and a sponge. Make sure to leave the belt fully out until it has dried ~ you could use a hairdryer to speed the process up & a strong clamp or clothes peg works well for holding the belt out.
Edit: Justthejedi beat me to the punch.
....and you too ZEUS. I'm getting slow.
Lurch the exhaust sounds fairly decent from the clip of it and doesn't look bad either. Good job.
One thing though you have different tread pattern tyres on the rear of your Zed, ...I'd seriously consider changing them when you can as mismatched tyres can cause problems especially with the weather only getting worse at this time of year.
There are a few things you could do without which will save you money like you don't necessarily need gauges (boost/oil temp etc) and you could get by without an oil cooler but still I wouldn't try to do it without the proper replacement fuel delivery improvement parts like the pump & injectors imo.
I'll send you a PM now with a price/parts breakdown of pretty much every part I put on my Zed during the FI build I did. It's not everything but most of it so hopefully it will help give you a more informed view of the costs/parts involved.
^^ What Nic said imo too.
I'd have a word with one of the suppliers on here & see what price you can get for a full kit ready to bolt on.
E.g: Supercharger, larger fuel injectors, new plugs, FRS, up-rated fuel pump etc etc
Pretty much agree with everything that has been said. Fairly nice interior with a seemingly good layout but yeah the outside is a little underwhelming.
