  1. That's true. I'd love one but tbh nowadays I'd prefer to get myself into a "newage" type car if I can. Something 2010 or newer at least. We will see though as a good performance car is a good performance car regardless of the year it was made imo.
  2. I think you do need to remember though where these cars are coming from and by that I mean the era. R32 ~ 1989-1994 R33 ~ 1995-1998 R34 ~ 1999-2002? Nothing a good re-trim can't bring right up to date.
  3. Thanks for the engine bay shot, ....really jealous now. Enjoy it.
  4. Yep never going to be easy at Christmas and whilst the weathers so wet. Have to say though your Zed is fantastic, ...someone is going to get an amazing car for the money. GLWTS & Merry Christmas.
  5. Congrats and welcome aboard Toby. This is worth having a good read of: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/31110-service-schedule-for-a-350z/ It is the service schedule for the 350Z so use it to check off what has & hasn't been done on your new Zed depending on the mileage/age of your Zed. That way you can spend some money on the things it really needs to keep it running sweet once you get it.
  6. Don't worry I will, ...if the Mrs ever finds out I said that somebody hacked my account, ok everbody?! @DoogyRev ~ well at least you fitted a stubby.
  7. Not quite what people aspire to. Yours is coming back stronger, harder & faster though. Ohhh so slowly Yours turned into a CTR didn't it? Yep just like a woman you've been dating for a decade it got fatter, slower & uglier. I'm always looking to upgrade though, ...if I'm lucky it will be as early as next year. Fingers crossed. Might even get a new car as well while I'm at it.
  8. Ahh ok. Tbh I'm only playing it so much as I'm hoping Santa will bring me a new game or two so I know afterwards I'm unlikely to play it as much.
  9. What good stuff do you mean Dan? Have you played much more of MGSV?
  10. Well I've still be plowing on through MGSV. Currently almost 55-60% complete overall with 70% odd of the side ops completed. Really annoying me though all this FOB sh**e especially as some thieving git stole my first nuke I developed and then the second one after I developed that. I did develop a third one but scrapped it as soon as it was done in order to get the trophy for doing it, ...won't be doing anymore though as they're a load of balls. I mean it acts as no deterrent and other people can just go to your command FOB & steal it. Utterly pointless.
  11. Don't stress over that. The W-brace is notorious for going that way. Usually the cheap option that most people can do is remove it, clean the rust off and "Hammerite" paint over it but yours definitely needs binning asap before it falls off in the road, ...could be especially bad if it comes off and hits another car. Second time I've seen one that bad now. You could try zmanalex on here for a pre-owned W-brace which is the cheapest option. Link: http://www.350z-uk.c.../9648-zmanalex/ Your next option and imo the best option is to get an aftermarket W-brace as it will be cheaper than getting a Nissan OEM replacement. This is the one I usually recommend to people on here and everyone I know has been more than happy with it. Link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ULTRA-RACING-4-Point-Rear-Lower-Bar-Brace-for-Nissan-FAIRLADY-Z33-350z-RL4-1259-/281862953916?hash=item41a0575bbc:g:7sAAAOSw7FRWUKLW If you don't like or want it though then I believe the Cougar Store or Clark Motorsport on here can both get you the OEM W-brace. Other traders may be able to as well but they are just the two I know who definitely should be able to although if memory serves it's around the £200 mark for the OEM one. Good luck.
  12. I can't help but am very sorry to hear you suspect your Mrs is cheating, ...hopefully you'll catch her in the act.
  13. Not quite what people aspire to. Yours is coming back stronger, harder & faster though.
  14. Should never assume with the EML coming on as it could be anything causing it to light up, ...but as Adrian above says my money would be on the Berks HFC's causing it. Best to get the code read or read it yourself (pedal dance AKA ECU reset) though just to check to be sure. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/53148-how-to-ecu-accelerator-pedal-throttle-valve-resets/ Fyi ~ my Berks HFC's were fitted to my Zed for quite awhile before they set the EML off (maybe a month or more). Had the code checked & cleared but after that point the EML would come on fairly regularly. Always down to the cats. I got the pedal dance down to a fine art though for switching it off. Eventually though I had it sorted when I had my first UpRev done.
  15. ^^ Always love seeing your Zed Graham.
  16. I would definitely get an oil temperature gauge fitted then if you haven't already. My SC'd Zed used to sit around 90 under normal daily use with it going up to around 100/110 odd on slightly warmer days. Soon as I went on track it was up to around 120/130+ within a lap or so. Definitely wise keeping an eye on these things if you can.
  17. Back when I first got my 2003 Zed (more or less)... And then all this happened: not so much show but lots of go, go, go!
  18. Glad to hear that you're ok and that they're handling this for you very professionally & swiftly. Hope it's all sorted soon.
  19. I don't think you have all your marbles now. Personally I'd rather leave an inheritance for my children (providing I have some) than p**s away a load of money on a giant firework to the stars (no offence).
