  1. That was a long time ago! (PS1). I've had all the Gran Turismo's since 1 so will definitely be giving the latest incarnation a go as soon as it's released.
  2. Welcome aboard. Keep an eye on the for sale section on here as Rays alloys do pop up for sale on here. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/213-350z-parts-for-sale/
  3. You're welcome. Post up when it's sold for definite and we'll lock the thread then.
  4. Best thing to do Jack to get a quick response is to send the member a PM (private message). Just hover your cursor arrow over his user name and you'll see a few things pop up including the "send message" icon. Good luck.
  5. No idea about the beaver tail or whether it's suitable for the Zeds height sorry Darryl, ...just making suggestions/giving you ideas. The one below apparently "has been specially modified to load stupidly low race cars such as Formula renaults, Ferrari challenge etc." Link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mercedes-Sprinter-race-car-transporter-Flatbed-Tilt-Low-loader-Recovery-vehicle/221977468288?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140122125356%26meid%3D34620b381ba94bc286c7aa01a6ab6642%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D6%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D262209646709 You have to bear in mind though the weight of the trailer and the weight of the vehicle on the trailer. If it's 75-85% greater than the weight of the towing vehicle then it's dangerous & possibly illegal to tow as well I believe. Honestly the best thing you can do is to ring "Indespension/Brian James" or similar towbar/trailer company who will have all the relevant up to date info you'll need.
  6. What about this sort of thing: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-TRANSIT-350-MWB-RECOVERY-TRUCK-BEAVERTAIL-CAR-TRANSPORTER-FLAT-BED-/262190262079?hash=item3d0bc1e73f:g:0oIAAOSwhcJWQ5Gw Providing it can fit the Zed on of course.
  7. Approved but if possible can you just add for the buyers what you'll be asking for postage. Good luck with the sales.
  8. Darryl quite sometime ago I used to work for a towbar/trailer company in Cardiff. Haven't been at that game for along time now but tbh I don't think you'll be able to tow a car transporter & the Zed with your Subaru. I mean the car will be capable of towing it for sure (powerful enough) but safety wise you should be using a heavier vehicle upfront otherwise it can cause a pendulum effect with more weight at the back. The trailer will be braked as any trailer over a specific weight has to be braked ~ something like 750kg I think it was/is. For a new car transporter you'd be looking at around £2.5K for one that will do the job, ...less if you can get a used one which do come up for sale. It would be probably a better idea to hire one though especially as Phil above mentions you will need to store it/maintain it otherwise. Best bet is to phone a trailer/tow bar centre when they're open again next year. Here's a link to the company I used to work for below and they'll be able to answer all your questions with one simple phone call. 9. Only person I can think of who may just have a template on their computer would be rickdon. Can't hurt to PM him and ask. Good luck either way.
  10. Moved this to the "350Z general" section as I'm guessing you didn't mean to post it in the "370Z" section? Regarding the templates; can you not just go out to your Zed and do it yourself (not being funny)? Just start with some A4 printer paper and push it into the gap, marking the edges with a pen/pencil. Then cut that out and see how it fits. If it's good then lay the A4 paper on top of some cardboard and trace it out to give you a more robust cardboard template. Otherwise you could contact 14N as I know he has the mirrors under his bonnet or better yet contact rickdon as he was doing a "group buy" on mirror kits ~ I know he did them for the HR and the DE too AFAIK so maybe if you ask him nicely he'll be able to sort you out some templates in exchange for beer tokens. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/89367-engine-dress-under-bonnet-mirror-kit-photos-updated-limited-number-offer/ Good luck.
  11. So that'll be "fast" then. Get some on-board video if you can.
  12. Looks fantastic. Seeing as nobody else has asked I'm going to, ...what is it?
  13. Might be worth asking ioneabee as I believe he fitted his and so did BBK AFAIK. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/89703-hard-wiring-dash-cam-advice/
  14. Maybe try asking Scott on here as I know he wrapped a lot of his Zed himself. It's in his build thread. Post n#104 onward. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/68764-scotts-project-zed/page__st__100
  15. Just been watching some trailers of it and it does look pretty good. If I hadn't got so many games for Christmas I'd probably buy it tomorrow but as it is I'm already struggling with what game to play at the moment. Definitely a future purchase especially as Game have it new for under £25. Glad to hear you're enjoying the PS4 and MGSV. One of my favourite games for sure. Not sure if you're into racing sims but Gran Turismo is coming to the PS4 soon. Should be good and I for one can't wait.
  16. Lovely colour and you've a very unique looking Zed.
  17. Honestly can't believe you didn't report it immediately. Stupid woman, ...just hope for your sake she is insured etc and the Police track her down. Good luck.
  18. Looks lovely, ..always a fan of that colour.
  19. Mileage wise I wouldn't worry about it but yes it would be sensible as mentioned above to have a compression check done first. I can't remember exactly but my DE Zed was around 88K-90K miles odd when I had it supercharged. Was still running the OEM clutch/flywheel as well fyi. I'll PM you some useful info/prices now.
  20. Yeah it's out on ps4 too bud, if u love zombie slaying games get it! Have a look at some YouTube videos it's great! Big update February with a whole new island bigger than the first 2 combined I do actually like a bit of Zombie slaying. Big "Walking Dead" series fan so bought those games when they came out on the PS3. I'll have a look then cheers.
  21. Mine was great although sadly for me I don't own it anymore. My real name's Gareth but I tend to get called anything from Graham to Granville on here so don't worry about it.
  22. Welcome aboard. Easiest way to post full size pictures is by using Photobucket. Guide here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/103472-how-to-add-your-photos-to-the-forum/
