  1. Vlad used an epoxy resin from the sound of it in his post Phil. Personally I'd just use a lot of 3M double sided tape and maybe 2 screws as at least that way it'll be easier to remove should you need to than if you've glued it on. That's how I fixed my twin guage pod on my old Zed. Good luck with your build thread.
  2. Best way to get a quick response Jared is to send Harry a PM (private message) as he will get a message on here but also it will send one to his private email address. Just hover your cursor over his username to see the "send message" icon pop up.
  3. Used to struggle trying to squeeze into this garage below. If you look at the pictures the door opening isn't even as wide as the driveway. It did fit inside but only just and once I scraped by rear alloy edge on the wall. After that incident I always had to get my Mrs to guide me in like a bl**dy plane parking at an airport terminal. Luckily the house we bought & moved into last year has a huge garage, ...just as soon as I've finished trying to sort the slight water ingress under the walls problems it will be perfect and I can finally get all my tools in there.
  4. A few people are running "airbag" suspension on their Zeds yes in answer to your thread title question. I know Parello is on his 370 but for someone doing it on the 350 then you might want to ask Mopedmark about his. Post n#123 onwards: http://www.350z-uk.c...s/page__st__120 Good luck with your plans.
  5. Nice video although I prefer to hear a cars engine rather than the music but still a good little vid.
  6. I too got Fallout 4 for Christmas and you're not wrong as it's a massive game to get to grips with. I just can't get over how amazing I'm finding this game with so much mod-ability for weapons, structures & clothing etc etc. Literally spent 3 hours one evening just building an awesome home base. GT-Four

Very nice, ...love doing little jobs like that on cars which can make such a good difference.
  8. You can buy tethers for the GoPros etc like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GOPRO-HERO-4-3-3-2-1-CAMERA-TETHERS-TWIN-2-PACK-GO-PRO-3M-ADHESIVE-UK-UNIVERSAL-/131166692825?hash=item1e8a24e5d9:g:b4gAAOSwo6lWMhqM Although they are more meant for tethering the camera to a helmet/surfboard or similar imo where pulling the paint off when you remove the tether might not be such a concern. If it was me I'd make my own tether by using an extra (larger) suction cup and just attaching some wire or similar from the suction cup to the camera. As long as it can hold the weight of the camera plus its mount should they both fall off and not allow either to hit the road then it'll be fine.
  9. Fair play those do look nice & the discs look good too.
  10. I know plenty of people use the GoPro suction cup mounts on paintwork without damaging the paint/body & I guarantee you that's a stronger suction cup mount than that eBay special. The only things to bear in mind would be that you'll want clean, grit free paintwork for the suction cup to mount to and also you'll want some kind of tether to hold the camera just in case it does come unstuck.
  11. Can't believe nobodies said it yet but....
  12. Welcome aboard Dan. Personally I'd stay away from the auto 350Z but only because I prefer manual cars and if you can I'd try to up your budget, ...not sure what sort of condition of a 350Z you'll be getting for £4.5K that's all.
  13. I know a lot of people have used "Tiger Seal". Link: http://www.amazon.co.uk/U-Pol-Adhesive-Sealant-Superior-Quality/dp/B004QDPVZ6 Not used it myself but sounds like it would do the job.
  14. I have to agree with you all as you're all right imo (Jetpilot, Dan & Nic). My FI Zed was running Goodridge s/s braided brake lines, Motul RBF600 brake fluid, Ferodo DS2500 pads & EBC Turbo groove discs ~ definitely an upgrade from the standard set up but not by much. I found no problems stopping my Zed even when abused on track for several laps but without a doubt a BBK (Big Brake Kit) would have been beneficial. I did find myself pressing harder on the brake pedal though when spiritedly driving on the roads I know as Dan mentions I found myself approaching corners at a higher speed than before the car was FI. In short it is not essential imo to have a BBK before going FI but it is definitely beneficial/sensible to upgrade the brakes as much as possible and ultimately increase your stopping abilities ~ that goes for any FI or N/A car though. If I had kept my FI Zed then a BBK would have been a future purchase for sure as I love driving my cars fast, hard & safely.
  15. No problem at all. Let us know how you get on cowie.
  16. In my experience Chris is a great guy and Tarmac Sportz do give fantastic customer service so if he can't help I'd be very surprised indeed if Invidia USA can do anything for you whatsoever. If I was you I'd try "Longlife" exhausts or a similar local company, ...as making exhausts is their business they will be more than capable of opening the Invidia backbox and replacing the damaged/gone baffles. Also they'll have a variety of baffles on the shelf so should find one the same. I can't imagine it would cost you much more than £50-£80 to have that done by them imo. Link: http://www.longlife.co.uk/
  17. Yep Invidia USA state only a one year manufacturers warranty. Still might be worth asking the seller/trader who it was purchased from but still I wouldn't hold out much hope as tbf 4 years is a pretty long time. Granted its cost and the fact it's stainless steel you'd have thought it would hold up better but it's the first time I've heard of this happening with an Invidia. Only option left would be as Jetpilot stated which is to find out which box has the baffle gone, cut it open, repair as necessary and then re-weld it all shut. Good luck whatever happens.
  18. At the end of the day she's an adult and as everybody knows you stop if you have an accident with another vehicle/person no matter how minor, ...unless you've something to hide. Like she was driving drunk, no insurance, no licence, on drugs etc etc. The only exception would be if she was in fear of her life (doubt you were threatening her though or even had time to by the sounds of it) or if it was some type of a medical emergency. Either way it's down to the Police now so lets hope all goes in your favour as you did nothing wrong.
  19. Good luck with the new Zed hunt kbad. Sounds like your first one was a bit of a lemon but still plenty of great Zeds for sale on various sites/places including on here. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/51-zeds-for-sale/
  20. Yep exactly and yes there are lots of people dangerously towing things they shouldn't be but that's why everyone is giving you advice so you're not one of them. Otherwise this...
  21. Moved to this section as you are using eBay links. GLWTS.
