  1. Very nice. Had some dipping done on my Zed when I had it and am a big fan of this. Even tried my hand at it myself.
  2. Oooh 370 aye. That'll be a nice upgrade to look forward to then.
  3. Well what are the chances of that?! All I found in our loft from the previous owners was a 1980's Jacobs Mint Club wrapper and a short list of someones particulars. E.g. Their age, address (one we're at), height etc. Think it was some young kids from their school days.
  4. Still a great looking Zed Cro but I cannot believe how bad the previous owner let some things get, ...especially the brake dust build up.
  5. Looking nice & clean, engine bay especially.
  6. Tbh I wouldn't worry about that with these small 501 bulbs (if we were talking HIDS or something then yes) ~ no Police Officer in the country is going to pull you because your number plate is too visible at night due to your bright 501 LED bulbs. Fyi ~ all the LED bulbs will fit in the standard holders providing the numbers collaborate with the OEM numbers. E.g. 501 bulb ~ 501 LED. The LED's are polarity sensitive (+ & - poles) so if you put an LED bulb into a bulb holder & it doesn't work turn it around to try it the other way before thinking it doesn't work. LED's will imo also make your car look more modern as the light given off is bright & crisp as appose to a dull yellow from the normal bulbs. Also instant on/off.
  7. Perfectly legal and can make your Zed look a lot newer imo. I ended up getting something similar to these from eBay but they're plenty to choose from on there if you type in "501 LED" or "501 Canbus error free LED". 8. Personal preference (not heard either in person) but I'd go for the Armytrix as I love the idea of being able to change the sound of the exhaust with just the press of a button and if you couldn't stretch that far then go for the Motordyne. Good luck with your decision though.
  9. Isn't it a sex lubricant?! Joking aside, he wrote "z tube" which is quite simply just the plastic air inlet tube going to the throttle body as used on the 350Z. The G35 Skyline has a different air inlet pipe which is slightly more restrictive so the one from the 350Z is a good/cheap upgrade option for the G35/V35 owners. Picture below: On the left is the 350Z air inlet tube & on the right is the G35 air inlet tube.
  10. Definitely would be something a bit different if you did. Most Zeds are either twin exit or single, ...don't see many quads at all.
  11. That does sound awesome G man.
  12. What inside?! What a PITA. Still the hairdryer trick will work but you're obviously going to have to remove the brake light to get at it first. Good luck.
  13. Hello Joe. Best way imo ~ use a hairdryer to gently heat up the glue holding the stickers in place. Then careful start peeling from one end & keep heating at the same time whilst pulling the sticker away from the body/window at an angle. Once the sticker is completely off you could then use a "sticky stuff remover" like "Autoglyms Intensive Tar remover" to get rid of the glue residue. On the windows polish with glass polish afterwards and use polish/wax on the body afterwards.
  14. Ruined.. ...nah I'm just kidding DarmoZ. Not bad, not bad at all. Keep doing it how you like.
  15. Covered on here lots and definitely some of it down to personal choice. Personally on my old Zed I used to run Ferodo DS2500 brake pads with EBC Turbogroove discs ~ combined with Goodridge s/s braided brake lines & Motul RBF600 brake fluid this made for a great set up on road & track even after I supercharged my Zed. Won't break the bank either.
  16. Seems like you've got the basics covered imo although I'd make sure your tyres are all good before going on the rollers (no tyre dressing/all up to correct pressure etc).
  17. Quite like the front bumper. Watched that video about the padlocks, ...very interesting but I doubt any of them would last more than a minute or so against a good angle grinder. Plus the problem with padlocks is not always the padlock but what you're attaching it too.
  18. Great news & you're very welcome ~ sorry I forgot to let you know it was on its way though. I'll lock this thread then as you're all sorted now.
