  1. Even cooler again now I've seen them working ZEUS.
  2. Yep he is a member, ...RyanT did that video. It's literally posted about 7 or 8 lines down from this thread btw. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/105016-used-350z-buyers-video-guide-common-issues/
  3. ^^ Love those ZEUS especially on your black Zed. Very cool mod indeed. Any pics of them in action?
  4. Obviously I haven't got my Zed anymore but one thing I loved was the dashboard layout, ...in particular the central RPM counter with shift light indicator.
  5. Great stuff Tom. Now you can just enjoy the car without worrying about insurance for another year.
  6. I don't think that'll cause you any issues tbh.

    Which HFC?

I have heard of the metallic substrate breaking apart and coming out myself but from what I've heard that only happened on FI (Forced Induction) vehicles. It was the main reason I sold my Berks HFC's and went to Berks De-Cats when I had my Zed supercharged otherwise I would have stayed with the HFC's. I think if your car is still just NA (Naturally Aspirated) then it should be of no concern. The quality of Berks products imo is very good.
  8. Did you mean "sweet sound of V6 muscle"? ...because you've written "sweat" as in perspiration. NB: If you click "Edit" and then go to "Full editor" you can alter your title. Anyway back to the question ~ an exhaust system & the sound it makes is such a personal thing (also depends on your budget). Something I think sounds amazing may to your ear sound dreadful. The only way around this is to get yourself to some Zed meets and listen to what other owners have on their cars. That way you can make the best informed choice for yourself. Personally I love the sound of the Motordyne exhaust system coupled with Art pipes as below... When I had my Zed though I ran Berks HFC's and an Invidia Gemini system at first and then later the same Invidia exhaust system but coupled with Berks De-Cats after I had the car supercharged as below...

    Which HFC?

What issues have you read that concern you? I used to run Berks HFC's on my Zed ~ the sound was fantastic for starters. Build quality is very good. They did however cause my EML to come on which was eventually sorted when I had my Zed remapped (UpRev). I have heard of some people having problems passing the MOT with HFC's but my Zed got through without issue.
  10. Great stuff. I thought he'd be able to help.
  11. More to the point what are yout buying next lol haha you will see when I get it Gtr That does seem to be becoming the norm for a lot of people although quite were the money comes from to buy them I have no idea?! I certainly don't earn enough to buy one.
  12. That link takes you to his username profile or at least it does on my laptop. Not sure why it wouldn't work for you though on your mobile. Try this instead ~ he posted in this thread: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/106331-2006-front-tow-hook-cover/#entry1593904
  13. As Jonnymonno mentions he is a member trader on here. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/user/9648-zmanalex/
  14. Companies I know that can do it for definite are Abbey Motorsport & Horsham Developments, the latter being the garage who did my Zed. There are other companies available like Tdi North & more etc who will also be more than capable of doing an FI build. Cost effective? Well I think you're talking about a package deal like some of the traders on here offer for the Vortech V3sci kits. Obviously secondhand would be even cheaper but then that's always a gamble with using secondhand parts imo. I'll PM you some prices etc from when I had my Zed done. You can then print it off for your mate ~ I'm assuming he's after charging a Zed is he?!

    handbrake,

Maybe worth asking one of the "garage traders" on here to look at the thread like Mitz@CougarStore or possibly someone like zmanalex who's had a lot of experience with stripping Zeds etc. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/94-cougar-store/ Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/user/9648-zmanalex/ Free bump either way and good luck.
  16. ^^ What Dan said. If the colour does end up bothering you that much then you could have the car wrapped or even re-sprayed if you can stretch to it but ultimately how the car runs & has been looked after is so much more important. Better a car that starts every time in a colour you're not fond of than a car in a colour you love which never starts or spends most of its life in a garage.
